6th May 2026 (7 weeks ago)If you can choose anyone to help you through the buying process, I’d HIGHLY recommend Branislav. From the beginning he has been attentive, informative and supportive in a multitude of ways. He explains everything A-Z which makes first time buyers, like myself and my partner, feel more in control and understand the process. Branislav communicates well, chases third parties for you and stands in your corner. He even called us late at night when I was asking far too many questions just to put us at ease and get a move on with things. He ensures that you get good value for money on the properties you view and in general is open and honest in all areas of property purchasing. We look forward to the rest of the journey and would thoroughly recommend Bran to anyone starting the process of getting a mortgage, or any other need - he’s more than competent, trustworthy and honest.

Our onward purchase and move to Surrey has proved to be difficult but with help and advice from Ash, we have been able to resolve the problem with Ash being instrumental in holding the lower chain together. Both Rob and Ash were always friendly, courteous and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend their services.

Other estate agents said our house was likely to be many months before it sold as it required a certain type of buyer who wanted a remote countryside home. But with Peter Lane they used their extensive list of buyers and found a handful who could be interested in our property immediately. We sold our house within 2 weeks at the price we wanted. The agents were super friendly, responsive and knowledgeable. Price was better than most other agents. Photos and advert exceeded expectations

Their valuation was surprisingly higher than I’d expected, and their selling strategy spot on! My property sold within days of the open house event they ran and got a lot more than I’d expected. All the staff I dealt with were professional, friendly and efficient. I have no reservations in recommending them, my home sale was painless - I’d lived there for 37 years so was anxious about the whole process, but it went brilliantly. Thanks Adam, Alex and Debbie for all you did !!

Communication was excellent throughout the entire process - always responsive, clear, and proactive. What really stood out was their genuine approach to sales negotiation. They provided honest advice, managed expectations well, and worked hard to achieve the best possible outcome. In an industry that doesn't always enjoy the best reputation, Fry Estate Agents are a real breath of fresh air. They combine professionalism with integrity, and it's clear they genuinely care about their clients. If you're looking for an estate agent you can trust, Fry are an excellent choice.

From the outset Andrew took a genuine interest in my property and plans, and the photographs and brochure he organised were excellent. Andrew kept me informed at all stages and the dedicated WhatsApp group proved a very efficient method of communicating. A very friendly and efficient firm and I would highly recommend them.

9th Mar 2026 (15 weeks ago)They found us dreadful tenants who wrecked the house. Then had to pay the agents again to get the tenants evicted. They didn’t offer any help considering they got us in this mess in the first place. I question what checks they did on the tenants, as they really let us down. We handed the house to these agents in pristine condition, for a year later to be back to square one, thanks to them. I would be very careful

The images to support my sale were some of the best I've ever seen, with additional video and drone images of the area. His narrative to describe my home was engaging not just a bland description of a room. He understood that you are not just selling a property but a lifestyle. I cannot rate him high enough.

19th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)We have now been in our new home for almost 4 weeks and are very happy with what is our forever home. We purchased through Taylor Brightwell and feel incredibly fortunate that we were given the opportunity to buy it after initially missing out. We didn’t sell our property through Taylor Brightwell however the communication we were provided with throughout the whole process from them was excellent especially from Fiona who contacted us on a weekly basis to update us on the progress. We found her knowledgeable and informative and very pleasant to deal with and were very fortunate to have her keeping us informed. Additionally a mention to Clare who we have previously viewed a number of properties with before our final one as she has always been easy going and informative and never made us feel rushed. Overall they made what is a very stressful process a whole lot better.

20th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)EDIT: Thank you for your response. However, attempting to attribute the issue to “timescales” or solicitors avoids the central concern raised in my review. For the full context: from the first viewing I made it clear to the agent, vendors and solicitors that my intention was to complete before the end of the year, and this was the only reason I accepted the asking price without negotiation despite the lease nearing 80 years. The property was marketed as “no chain”, and this timeframe was known and discussed for months in advance, on multiple occasions including second viewing in the end of November. No circumstances justify intimidating communication by your manager or suggesting that a client’s actions may negatively affect how they are viewed in “future transactions” — wording for which your agency already issued a formal apology. As I believe this conduct fell below expected professional standards, the matter has now been formally escalated to The Property Ombudsman (TPO). I hope this leads to improved communication standards and training. Unfortunately, my experience with this agency during a property purchase was highly disappointing. It started off well at the viewing - Aarden was highly professional, with good knowledge about the property. Unfortunately later on during the process the communication from the sales manager Josh — particularly during negotiations — crossed the line from professional guidance into unnecessary pressure and intimidation. At one stage, I was told that my actions could affect how the agency and vendors viewed me in “future transactions,” which I found completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Following a formal complaint, the agency acknowledged that the wording used could reasonably be interpreted as intimidating and issued an apology. I appreciate that the director responded professionally once the complaint was raised, but buyers should not have to escalate matters formally in order to be treated fairly and respectfully. I would strongly encourage future buyers to keep all communication in writing and approach negotiations cautiously.
