21st Sep 2026 (6 weeks ago)Cubitt & West were determined to sell our flat.<br><br>Special thanks to Scott Buchanan who gives the same service whether he’s selling a flat or a mansion and doesn’t do first or second class selling - just first class.<br><br>Selling property in this day and age takes compromise plus patience from vendors.<br><br>We reduced our property price to reflect market conditions and worked with Cubitt & West to get an acceptable result in the end.- 30th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)The best estate agents we have dealt with. 18th Sep 2026 (6 weeks ago)We had a very positive experience with White & Sons in Dorking. The whole team were friendly, approachable and helpful throughout the process. They were always responsive when we had questions and gave us the time and flexibility we needed, including arranging multiple visits to the property while we completed surveys, inspections and various checks. We never felt rushed, which made what can be quite a stressful process much easier to manage!<br><br>A special thank you to Philip, who was excellent from start to finish! He was patient, professional and genuinely helpful, guiding us through the process and doing his best to accommodate our requests, including access to the property on several occasions. As we worked through the different checks and decisions involved in the purchase, Philip remained understanding and supportive throughout. We really appreciated his help and would happily recommend him and the White & Sons Dorking team!

3rd Oct 2026 (29 days ago)On the whole very good selling our flat, however we had to press to get and keep a reasonable offer. Their recommended conveyancing lawyer was excellent and managed a rapid completion at competitive rates too.
17th Aug 2025 (1 year ago)Went down auction route , communication poor , didn’t return calls , over valued property, when asked to supply solicitors had to chase up to find who was dealing with it ! Not very impressed with whole experience so far , have used Cobham branch before with move and that was brilliant no issues ! Will wait to see final outcome!

She and her team were committed, dynamic and enthusiastic and made us feel they really cared about their work and their clients. Highly recommend

22nd Dec 2021 (4 years ago)I cannot say enough about V&H Homes and specifically Maria at the Ashtead Branch. While they are a smaller independent agent, they will absolutely give you the personalized service that an independent can provide. Give those big estate agents in Surrey a miss, take your business to V&H. The communication throughout the process was exemplary, the dedication to getting the sale was second to none. We had tried to sell previously with the usual suspects in Surrey and none of them could get the sale and it seemed hopeless, V&H got it done in 10 days! There were many times in our sale where things got rocky and Maria went well over and above day in and day out to ensure that everything went through. I truly believe that if we had went with another big establishment high street agent that our sale would not have happened. While Maria was absolutely amazing, we also had interactions with the other associates at Ashtead V&H Homes. When Maria was out of office our file was well looked after, the service didn’t slip at all which is very rare in a sales situation. As I said at the beginning of this review, I really can’t say enough about Maria and V&H. These days reviews are either 5* or 1* and it’s getting more and more difficult to sift through them to make a decision. This is 100% a genuine 5* review. Were there issues in the sales process, of course there were, we were selling a house. But it wasn’t about the issues, it was about how they were handled, the speed at which they were handled, and the fact that when something came up we were never left to worry, V&H were always just a phone call or e-mail away. Thank you so much Maria and V&H Homes for the personalized service and all the time and effort that you spent on our file. We absolutely owe our sale and the fact that we are snugly in our new home all to you! Very best regards, Danny

27th Jun 2026 (18 weeks ago)I had an extremely disappointing and distressing experience with Ralph James while trying to rent a property at Helena House, Royal Earlswood, ahead of starting my new job at East Surrey Hospital.<br>I viewed the property with an agent named Hugo Cina. Following the viewing, I received what appeared to be legitimate emails containing the tenancy agreement and payment instructions. During the process, I was told that iI needed to pay the 5 weeks rent as deposit at first, and then told to pay 2 weeks rent as deposit for them to send me the contract letter. When I questioned why I was being asked to pay more than the usual holding deposit- which is one week's rent, I was encouraged to make the payment quickly so that the tenancy could proceed.<br>I subsequently received bank account details that I was told belonged to the landlord and, relying on those instructions and the accompanying telephone conversations, transferred £346. I have retained copies of the emails, call records and payment confirmation.<br>The following day, when I contacted the agency, I was informed by a senior member of staff, Sam, that their email system had been compromised. Since then, despite numerous phone calls and emails to both Sam and the Head of Lettings, Katie, I have received no meaningful response or assistance regarding the money I lost.<br>I have now submitted a formal police report regarding the suspected fraud. The lack of communication and support from the agency after being informed of the incident has been extremely disappointing.<br>Whether the payment resulted from a compromise of their systems or another cause is something for the relevant authorities to investigate. However, as a prospective tenant, I acted entirely in good faith, relying on communications that appeared to come directly from the agency.<br>Based on my experience, I cannot recommend using this agency. I hope they improve their security, communication and support for customers who find themselves in situations like mine.<br><br>I would not recommend their services as they are not secure, professional and aren't helpful at all.
