Daniel Rees, the agent at Savilles, made the process of buying as smooth as it could be. He was a calm, thoughtful and easy to communicate with throughout the process. We would be happy to recommend using Savilles.
29th Jan 2026 (9 weeks ago)Difficult to judge when you have had little traffic to view the property with no explanantion as to why? Was it the wrong time of year, was it the advertising (little evidence)? Value for money, we spend nothing. The agency was friendly but lacked in keeping us informed.

Our house was on the market for about six weeks and we only had two viewings during that time, so in the end we decided to take it off the market as the experience wasn’t quite what we’d hoped for. One thing I didn’t like was that we met one estate agent for our valuation, initial consultation, and photos, but after that we never heard from him again. Instead, a different agent we’d never met carried out the viewings. This person didn’t know us or what we wanted potential buyers to know about our house, including specific details we’d shared with the original agent. We were disappointed as we expected the person we’d built rapport with to be the one doing the viewings

19th Mar 2026 (17 days ago)What can I say… We have probably just had the most complicated move for first time buyers ever and if it wasn’t for Sarah (and company) we wouldn’t be sat here with the keys to our first house. Nearly 8 months of back and forth and never once were I fobbed off or moaned at for constantly phoning. ?????? Thank you Sarah & team Williams.

I asked for other details on similar properties and was told that they would be emailed to me and received nothing for weeks. Later to find out that the property I was interested in had no offer and is still available. Given that they had my details they had not called to inform me or offered alternative properties.- 10th Mar 2026 (26 days ago)Our experience with Davis & sons, caldicot has been excellent. We have used their services over the past 10 or more years and never been disappointed or let down. The girls in the office are professsional in dealing with any queries, and are a pleasure to deal with;

From the very first contact Simon, Rachael and their team have been excellent - complete professionals, incredibly capable, experienced and friendly. They did a brilliant job - transparent communication, no stress, no fuss - I felt 100% confident at every stage. We sold quickly in a challenging market - wonderful people, highly recommended.

The whole process was smooth, well organised, and much less stressful than we expected. A special mention has to go to Ellie, who was absolutely brilliant throughout. She was always quick to respond, really helpful, and made sure everything was clearly explained. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and she made the whole process feel easy and straightforward. It’s rare to find such good communication and support, especially when renting, so we really appreciated it. We’re very grateful for all the help and would definitely recommend them — especially if you get Ellie!

They persevered and found the right buyer. Throughout Louise and Sue kept in regular touch, giving us helpful advice and encouragement. We would highly recommend them.

Everything was clearly explained, and she made sure I understood each step, which made the process smooth and stress-free. MEHEK was also very responsive and always willing to help, addressing any questions or concerns promptly. Her straightforward and honest approach gave me a lot of confidence, and it was clear she genuinely cared about providing excellent service. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and professional housing agent.

After a disastrous start with another estate agent which almost lost me the house I really wanted to buy, I instructed Century 21 and Jason pulled everything together. Jason got my property sold very quickly in an urgent situation working late into the night to get my property listed and negotiated my purchase so that everything was held together, despite various difficulties along the way, and I got my dream home. He is extremely proactive and responds quickly to messages seven days a week and outside normal working hours. I cannot thank him enough for his hard work, and dedication in getting my sale and purchase over the line. He is truly passionate about his work and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Had a issue regarding my sale and a neighbour's tree and Ian kept me calm and reassured in what was a very stressful time. Dealing with Claire on the phone was also very easy. Would definitely use H&H again and recommend to anyone to use in Chepstow and surrounding areas.
12th Jul 2025 (8 mo. ago)Review for Fine & Country Cardiff – Deeply Unprofessional and Untrustworthy I strongly advise anyone considering buying a property through Fine & Country Cardiff to think twice. We dealt with Gemma, and the experience has been nothing short of appalling. From the beginning, the team were overly pushy and dismissive of our concerns. But once the sale was completed, their attitude turned outright negligent. Despite purchasing a high-value property marketed as a “smart home,” no one had the courtesy to hand over the keys in person. Instead, we were told they were “in the mailbox” and that was the end of their involvement. Upon arrival, we found the garage door was broken and unopenable. An engineer has since confirmed it must be completely replaced at a cost of £2,000. The bathroom sliding door is stuck, meaning steam from the shower floods into the room. And most critically, the entire smart home system is inaccessible. We were given login details linked to an email address that is not ours. After 10 days of calls, emails, and speaking to the U.S.-based provider, we still cannot even turn on the lights. Fine & Country Cardiff have made no effort to assist. No follow-up, no explanation, and certainly no responsibility taken. Their behaviour has been unprofessional, and completely lacking in basic courtesy. I rarely leave reviews, but this situation has caused serious stress and inconvenience. Avoid this agency at all costs. They disappear the moment the payment clears and leave you to deal with all the problems they never disclosed.

20th Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)I wish I had instructed Paul to sell my property initially because it had languished with 2 well known agents for Months without any sensible sale plan/updates.<br>Paul offered straight talking, no nonsense advice. We had an offer within days of the viewings.<br>Go with an agent who is as committed as you are to sell and will add valuable insight to the process. You won't be disappointed with Paul.
