They did call me back once, but then never followed up. I wouldn’t recommend anyone list a property with them. Based on my experience, their listings feel like clickbait. Avoid.

We received an excellent service from start to finish from all staff especially Caroline who provided additional advice which was always appreciated. The overall service was efficient, professional and always supportive. No hesitation in recommending them.

What really stood out was his ability to simplify a complex buy to let situation. He took the time to understand my circumstances, explained all available options clearly, and worked tirelessly to secure the right deal. Even when challenges came up, he was proactive and always one step ahead, which made a stressful process feel much more manageable. Mortgage advisors are there to guide you through what can often be a daunting process, helping you find the most suitable deal for your situation , and that’s exactly what he delivered. His communication was excellent throughout, keeping me updated at every stage and making sure nothing was overlooked. Kept us up to date with our application and always got a timely reply to our queries either by phone or email. Lovely to feel you are actually listened to and he understood our individual needs. 16th Apr 2026 (18 days ago)Very poor experience. The agent was slow to respond, frequently required chasing, and failed to follow through on commitments. Communication was inconsistent and gave the impression of a complacent, unprofessional approach. Would not recommend.
3rd Feb 2026 (13 weeks ago)I didn't find Cooper Green Pooks helpful at all. They overvalued the property, got us hardly any viewings and I had to chase for information. Even when I said I was leaving them they didn't even ask why? Overall not impressed.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
