The team are so experienced and so professional in all they do , I felt like I was part of their family , nothing was to much trouble for them , I would definitely recommend habitat to anyone who wants to rent or sell . A massive thank you to all the team for really looking and supporting me whilst I was with them .

From valuation to completion, they were on hand, helping link the buyers, sellers, solicitors to keep the sale on track. It was so helpful for us to have access to such a professional and experienced team.<br><br>The marketing , high quality photography and management of viewings ensured potential buyers had a good experience too.<br><br>Highly recommend Holmes Naden, well deserved 5* service and process.

What actually cemented my decision to use them is their valuation and property advisor Gemma, who has all the skill and expertise not only to value the property and advise but also the professional attitude needed to put my mind at ease about selling and buying a new property. They set my expectations at the beginning, which was good. The process has been a smooth one. They fitted in visits around my shifts. I liked the fact that the viewings were done on one day without me being there (great when you live with a toddler) They have always been prompt in replying to any messages. 29th Jun 2025 (1 year ago)A thank you just doesnt seem enough! We have recently sold our home with Property Shop Accrington and they are beyond amazing! We had a negative time with the previous agents and things just changed massively when we moved to Property Shop. From valuation, to all the viewings and the amazing customer service provided by Beth. We were always kept updated and i genuinely felt Beth wanted the best for us, she was always available to answer questions and always kept us in the loop, she is a real trooper and so friendly & polite. The same goes for the other staff and also Natalie in completions, always friendly and efficient, nothing ever too much trouble. The staff are a credit to this place. We have been so happy from start to finish! Thank you x
10th Jul 2025 (1 year ago)We recently began renting a property through your agency. Unfortunately, on the second day of our tenancy, the landlord admitted to H and H agents that he had looked through our windows—an act that constitutes a serious violation of our right to privacy. Following this incident, we mutually agreed to end the tenancy early. However, we have been informed that a full month’s rent will be retained, with the explanation that the landlord’s actions were merely "a quick peek" and therefore not a cause for concern. Regardless of how brief the intrusion was, any unauthorized observation into a tenant’s private space is entirely inappropriate and unacceptable. According to the terms of the tenancy agreement, landlords must provide at least 24 hours’ notice before entering or inspecting the property. If there are concerns regarding the condition of the property, the appropriate course of action is to use the security deposit—not to violate a tenant’s privacy. In our case, the deposit was returned in full. While we acknowledge that we painted the walls without permission to high standard and neutral white colour, this does not in any way justify the landlord’s actions or the withholding of a month’s rent. Due to the seriousness of the privacy breach, I have reported the matter to the police, as it may constitute a criminal offence. I will also be pursuing the matter through civil court to recover the withheld rent. The response from your agency has been disappointing. In particular, a member of your staff, Shirley, laughed when I expressed discomfort over the landlord’s behavior. This dismissive attitude only adds to the distress we have experienced. A Complaint is ongoing but the agents to not seem to have the time to respond within a few days.. Renters deserve to be treated with the same respect and dignity as homeowners. Owning a property does not entitle anyone to disregard the legal and ethical boundaries that protect tenants’ rights , we are not second class citizens..

Learning point for us in selling in future was the first valuation was higher than other agents had valued the home as and, in hindsight, we probably should have questioned that more as we ended up over time needing to knock a chunk of money off and think we’d have sold the house much quicker if the valuation had been closer to what we ended up selling the house for

They were able to guide us through the inevitable hiccups surrounding house buying as best they could and you always felt that they were doing their best for you. We would recommend to family and friends.
