23rd Jan 2026 (20 weeks ago)AVOID THEM. They will rob you blind of your deposit and withold legal documents they "swear they'll get tomorrow" to avoid giving you your dues. Like many others said they will make dizzying claims about needing professional cleaners. Especially when you hired your own out of pocket to avoid these things. They are rude, dismissive and will trick you into doing everything over the calls to avoid leaving evidence of responsibility before gaslighting you wildly. Mohammed told us to sit outside in the peak of winter overnight when the lock which the locksmith WE had to hire said was "a decade out of date". Took days of arguing to get them to pay us back. It was -5 and mohammed knew full well I was asthmatic. Disgusting business with no morals. Watch your backs, avoid this lot.

Through to a sale -The Street app for appointments with back up phone calls and reminders.The office are knowledgeable and helpful in your case . Very happy -thank you Humphreys!!
10th Feb 2024 (2 years ago)Very responsive and helpful, much more so than other letting agents I approached when searching for a property. Letting process quick and reasonably straightforward although the online system sometimes seemed a bit daunting for a non 'techie'. The only aspect of the process that I felt was poor was the handover where I was just asked to attend the office to collect the keys and door code. There are a number of features of the property that I have had to discover myself or by talking to the building caretaker. An accompanied handover on the premises would have made this much easier.

28th Aug 2025 (9 mo. ago)Overall a mixed bag of opinions, chris himself who does the show rounds is lovely but buying your first home is a bit of a minefield to say the least, We had two failed property's with them. 1st property where the seller pulled out because we wouldn't pay 3.6k towards HIS defective lease this went on for a few months and resulted on us missing the deadline of our tenancy end in our current property. The estate agents was not considerate of the situation & didn't offer anything else within our criteria and just went about their day knowing we'd still be open to further properties as we were staying in air bnb's and hotels at the time. They just re listed the property as "newly" on the market when in fact it had been listed for the best part of 6-8 months prior. The second property we went to attend a viewing in which they hadn't pencilled in and we had to call whilst being stood outside for 15 minutes. to which we was told we never confirmed even though we had written confirmation of both ourselves and themselves agreeing a time etc, We was then rushed during this viewing because they'd double booked. We went onto register interest in another property and just never received a follow up. We shown interest in this property more than once left vm's and emails. If you're thinking about selling i would not use them as they don't care about you at all & have probably scared many other potential buyers off as well. After a whole year we managed to find a house with another estate agents stress free, This house did not come with free mould, soiled floorboards, leaking roofs, Landlord special cover ups & the area was not mis sold as a nice area when in fact it gave shameless a good run for its money.
15th May 2026 (30 days ago)I would advise extreme caution to anyone buying a property through Roger Dean Estate Agents. My experience revealed a deeply concerning lack of professional integrity and fair dealing. During my attempted purchase, the agency instituted a strict "Best and Final Offer" process. However, immediately after I submitted my final bid, the agent (Grace Lees) contacted me to solicit an additional £10,000. When I refused, the agent admitted in the same phone call that she had already been instructed by the vendor to accept my original offer if I declined the increase. I escalated this conduct to The Property Ombudsman (TPO). Following a formal investigation, the Ombudsman’s written findings confirmed that these specific events and manipulative negotiation tactics occurred exactly as I described them. If you are a buyer dealing with this agency, be fully aware that their "deadlines" and "best and final" processes may be entirely manipulative tactics designed to extract more money from you under false pretenses. Proceed with caution.

Dealt with Liz at Marple office what a star she went the extra mile in everything she did kept in touch as soon as she knew anything what she didn't know she would go that extra mile to find out, couldn't have asked for more. I would recommend Lawlers to anyone. Thanks again Liz

7th Jun 2025 (1 year ago)Valued house at £550k and a week later advised us to reduce price the day after it was advertised because a house nearby was marketed at £525. The other house clearly needed some refurbishment and the recommendation was based purely on competition and not on an accurate valuation.
