30th Mar 2023 (3 years ago)Signed for a no fee deal including legal fees. Paid £200 up front. The buyer of my property dragged on for months resulting in me losing my house purchase. Dowena then refused to pay the legal fees despite the agreement costing me over £400 in fees for nothing. Very immoral company.
9th Jun 2026 (4 days ago)We have just sold our property and bought a new home both with Hunter’s at Kendal We have dealt mainly with Ellie who is so very helpful, nothing is too much trouble she is definitely a valuable asset to the company. Having spoken and dealt with other staff members at Kendal I can honestly say that they are a wonderful team. Everything has gone smoothly and we are moving next week, a huge thank you to Hunters.

13th Dec 2025 (5 mo. ago)When Pattinsons offered to sell our property they offered a price match for their fees and failed/refused to provide a valuation. They have not actively tried to sell the property and have forced auction conditions on us and are planning to charge us considerably more than the price match promised.

The estate agents that showed us around the property were also very kind and helpful. However I do want to give a special shoutout to Lauren when we were struggling to find a solicitor she hopped on the case offered us support and help to secure an amazing solicitors she is a credit to the company and can't thank her and the ashington team enough!

A hardworking team, all ready and able to take away the hassle and stress often associated with house selling. They are all undaunted with the problems of selling our house, actively searching for appropriate buyers and weeding out those who are not relevant, as well as aging the best price. We cannot mark them less than excellent.

Absolutely recommend for any first time renters like myself that have been a bit nervous with getting things started. Super understanding and patient while still being reliable for any issues I've had along the way, couldn't be happier with them.

3rd May 2026 (6 weeks ago)Phoned up on a Wednesday afternoon to view a property in Newcastle and was told that the only available slot was noon on the Friday. My husband and I rearranged another appointment, took the day off work and travelled the 1.5 hour journey to Newcastle (we explained at time of booking we weren’t local). 15 mins before scheduled time we got a phone call from the agent to say they hadn’t had a confirmation from the vendor but they were usually in. But guess what - agent turned up and couldn’t get access as there was no one there. Didn’t really apologise - just explained that they thought they had an offer but it fell through so they didn’t confirm our viewing. Totally unprofessional.
