3rd Sep 2026 (11 days ago)As a cash buyer ready to pull the plug, had a genuine interest in a currently listed property, dealing with Hayward Tod has quickly taken my interest away.<br><br>Communication extremely poor, having to chase up answers to genuine questions (about the leasehold and lpg) multiple times yet to no avail, just getting ignored now. Another ‘middleman’ estate agent.<br><br>Leah and Carla thanks for wasting my time.
30th Mar 2023 (3 years ago)Signed for a no fee deal including legal fees. Paid £200 up front. The buyer of my property dragged on for months resulting in me losing my house purchase. Dowena then refused to pay the legal fees despite the agreement costing me over £400 in fees for nothing. Very immoral company.
9th Jun 2026 (14 weeks ago)We have just sold our property and bought a new home both with Hunter’s at Kendal We have dealt mainly with Ellie who is so very helpful, nothing is too much trouble she is definitely a valuable asset to the company. Having spoken and dealt with other staff members at Kendal I can honestly say that they are a wonderful team. Everything has gone smoothly and we are moving next week, a huge thank you to Hunters.

From the magnificent photos, to the marketing of our house, including the ups and downs of buyers pulling out and the house having to be re-marketed and the courteous professionalism of how Steven, Sian and the staff dealt with it all we can't praise them highly enough! A hardworking team, all ready and able to take away the hassle and stress often associated with house selling. They are all undaunted with the problems of selling our house, actively searching for appropriate buyers and weeding out those who are not relevant, as well as aging the best price. We cannot mark them less than excellent.

If we could give them 10 stars, we would! There is no weak link on this team. We would hire them over and over again for any type of property need. They truly care about their clients and do the very best job possible! We are so grateful we found them in 2022 and highly recommend them for any and all services they offer!!

What actually cemented my decision to use them is their valuation and property advisor Gemma, who has all the skill and expertise not only to value the property and advise but also the professional attitude needed to put my mind at ease about selling and buying a new property. Gemma took me through the whole platform from beginning to end even though she is not involved with everything. She explained from selling, the use of solicitors to buying and tying up lose ends Gemma is a real asset and exceptional addition to the Farrell & Hayworth team Thank you Gemma
17th Apr 2026 (21 weeks ago)The valuation was great, the woman was lovely and photos were excellent. The communication stopped after a few weeks. The house was listed with 2 agents, when I did a viewing with the other party they said about how they'd tried to contact holbrooks and couldn't get through. I received a call about a viewing after no contact for weeks and told them the there had been an offer on the house and was sols stc, the woman rudely said you could have told us. I would have if there had been any contact! Overall wouldn't recommend them.

Learning point for us in selling in future was the first valuation was higher than other agents had valued the home as and, in hindsight, we probably should have questioned that more as we ended up over time needing to knock a chunk of money off and think we’d have sold the house much quicker if the valuation had been closer to what we ended up selling the house for
