They maintained excellent communication during the entire process and were incredibly supportive in helping us settle into our property. We feel very fortunate to have been able to find our rental property with them, especially in contrast to some other agencies we encountered in London. We absolutely love our new home which we wouldn't have found without the help of Sam.
26th Apr 2024 (5 days ago)If there was minus 5 stars, I would have chosen it. The worst experience in my life with an agency really. I have just recently had surgery, and still did my best to show up early for the scheduled viewing. However, no one showed up, and it's completely unprofessional. They did not even call, or send an email to say they cannot attend. Very disrespectful. I recommend this to no one at all. Horrendous experience. No respect for others.

Grace Foster was also very helpful. When it came to selling, Phil Cantell was of great service, finding the buyer first and then helping maintain good communication with them throughout. From the first (of a few different) showings throughout signing for our flat, every single person we worked with at John D. Wood was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive throughout the entire process; especially considering we were new to the unique intricacies of renting in the United Kingdom. Jessie went so far above and beyond to understand our specific needs, preferences, and timeline, and was incredibly responsive to answer any question we had. Being new to the United Kingdom and London, her knowledge of different neighbors and renting practices was hugely helpful. We never felt pressured to make a decision on a flat and appreciated her patience as we explored different options. It felt like Jessie trusted the relationship we had built and trusted the quality of their units to find a place we loved, rather than feeling the need to sell us on a place that we didn’t. That was such a refreshing experience and one that made all of the difference. We knew that if we were taking time to view a flat, it was a potential winner. Ultimately, Jessie helped us find the perfect flat that exceeded our expectations in every way. We are incredibly grateful for her dedication and genuine care for us. Ultimately James "won the prize" however it has been a pleasure at all times dealing with both of them. They have been polite, considerate, and good at keeping us up to date on everything; and James was especially good at pushing through on our completion date and keeping us posted on the progress. I can highly recommend them.- 26th Apr 2024 (5 days ago)I have recently sold my flat through Foxtons Auctions and the whole process has been streamlined and professional. The were transparent and open about discussions and feedback from the outset. I received a telephone call almost daily giving me an update on the viewings of the previous day and the feedback provided by interested parties. The online platform is easy to use and you can keep up to date with feedback and potential viewings. The service I received was not corporate in fashion; it felt bespoke, and I often joked with the team that it very much felt the whole of Foxtons was working solely for my flat. I thank the whole team, but a special thank you to Anne, Antony, Bronwyn, Kieran and Mohsen. There are many estate agents across the Marylebone and Mayfair area; if it is a personal and bespoke service you require, then I strongly recommend Foxtons.

5th Mar 2024 (8 weeks ago)We recently appointed Hamptons as the sales agent to sell our house in third avenue, w10. The process was led on Hamptons side by Ryan Openshaw who did a highly professional job in managing the process from end to end. Ryan was able to generate significant interest on the property and despite dealing with challenging access terms by our tenant he managed the prospective buyers very well to avoid any dips in interest. Throughout the process going into offer, then exchange and finally completion we were kept very well informed as the sellers despite being located permanently in Asia. I would highly recommend Hamptons and specifically Ryan to anyone wishing to sell their property in the area.
18th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)I've had some good and some bad experiences throughout my 1.5-year tenancy at a flat managed by Chesterons. Unfortunately it ended pretty poorly. Despite having handed over the keys at the end of January 2024, they have yet to complete the end-of-tenancy procedures and have been extremely unresponsive to email.

29th Feb 2024 (9 weeks ago)Terrible agency. Stay away. They let out a flat where the boiler wasn't working from day one of the tenancy. When a call out was made at the weekend on Saturday I was told that it was not an emergency and not having ANY heating/ hot water during Winter with a 3 year old living in the house didn't classify as an emergency so the contractor would only be sent on the Monday, which they then did.

He has been superb in the sale of our house and went above and beyond to ensure that our sale went ahead. From the beginning to the end he has had a positive outlook. On our viewings he was bright and bubbly and ensured that the viewers were made aware of the benefits of our property,. When we eventually agreed a sale we had a long process due to the fact that the buyers held up matters, however Rhys would always be pressing to try and speed up the process and always kept us up to date and informed. At one stage our buyer went abroad, Rhys was on calls to our buyer at 1030 at night trying to deal with their queries in an attempt to push our sale through. We can’t thank Rhys enough for what he did for us. He is a real credit to his trade and we would throughly recommend using him to friends and family. Again thank you Rhys Henry
