Barnard Marcus - Holland Park

1 Holland Park Terrace

The team in the Holland park Barnard Marcus were great in helping us find a property to rent, listened to our criteria, prompt in replying and sorting out paper work.

Foxtons - Notting Hill

90 Notting Hill Gate, Notting

My partner and I were under an incredible time pressure. Which wouldn't be hard except that we are both highly particular about our living arrangement. Karan at foxtons came in with a lot of confidence which I was initially wary of. However every promise he gave was fully backed without a hiccup along the way. In a field thick with lies and empty promises it was a breath of fresh air to work with Karan who was quick to respond to any query.

Contacted them two months ago looking for a flat. A guy name Tom was very nice on the phone but not once in person. He argued that I said my limit was 1,300 pcm while I said 1,200 pcm. However, he showed us 4 flats, none of them under 1,300 (the cheapest was 1,350), insisting in that "the normal thing is to spend the 80% of the salary on the rent. Well, that may be your case Tom, but I don't want to struggle every month to pay my bills. He rudly insists so much on this that he even took a calculator and started calculating how much money we would still have after paying 1400 for a 1 bedroom flat near Portobello Market (btw, I thought the limit supposed to be 1300...). He also added that we will not find a 1 bedroom flat for less than 1300, unless we go to live to heathrow. Well, guess what Tom, we find it in Hackney for 1150, and it is not the crappy flats you showed to us (one of them included the landlords -an old couple that, I guess, wasn't expecting having two girls living together- living on the second floor of the building). I am not saying this the experience you will get with Foxtons. Not at all, at the same time colleagues from Foxtons Archway, Ealing and Greenwich were being incredibly kind and professional with us. I just believe this particular "Tom" from Foxtons Notting Hill is only used to work with wealthy people that would pay whatever they asked for a old, muddy, crappy flat in Kensington. It's fine, just tell me from the begining and don't go wasting my time.

Warwick Estate Agents

69 Chamberlayne Road, Willesden

A family run , excellent service, great area knowledge highly recommended

Sam Delone

I would not recommend Warwick Estate Agency to my worst enemy. Tenants references was not checked properly and I later found out that the references were not genuine. In my opinion this Agency is rude and unprofessional. Tenants was subletting my property to over 15 people and claimed that Warwick Estate had Knowledge of the subletting. Warwick Estate was extremely unhelping with providing eviction advice and the TDS process. WOULD STRONGLY NOT RECOMMEND.

Foxtons - Maida Vale

30 Clifton Road, London

I had a great experience working with Greta from Foxtons while I was looking for a flat in Maida Vale. She's helped me find and secure an excellent property! I would recommend working with her to anyone.

Anastasia Eremina

There was a stinky rotting hole in the floor of the bathroom, Foxtons ignored all emails about it for 6 months. Then they sent someone around to cover the hole with newspaper. A further 6 months later we realised they were never going to fix the hole and moved out.

Camerons Stiff & Co - Willesden Lane

275 Willesden Lane, London

THE estate agents to use in Queens Park and Kensal Rise - we used Cameron Stiff for our sale (and they acted on our purchase) this year. The friendly, knowledgeable and very hard working team did a brilliant job in a very difficult market, getting lots of viewers through the doors, benchmarking the market and realistic sale prices and putting deals together for us. Jerome, Stephen and Hussein did an excellent job for us on our eventual sale and long delayed purchase and were proactive and ensured all stayed on track. We can't thank the team enough. If you want hard working, tenacious, experienced and pleasant estate agents to work with (which lets face it, we could all do with in today's market), these are the guys to use.

Absolutely appalling service from Camerons Stiff. Incompetent to say the least!

Mile Estates - Kensal Rise

51 Chamberlayne Road, Kensal Rise, London

Mile were great to deal with from start to finish with our house purchase in Kensal Rise. Kyle was particularly helpful and kept us up to date throughout the whole process, and getting the deal over the line. We would definitely recommend them!

Mohammed Naqvi

Requested a viewing of a property, agent responsible didn't show up and was rude to my girlfriend. Deeply aggravating.

GetAgent makes finding an estate agent easier.

Very helpful in arranging for 3 agents to come around and put their pitch for marketing our property. Having them as an intermediary made the process...

A very good comparison website

A very good comparison website for checking local estate agencies. We used it to check who have sold the most in our area and the results were very useful to us.

Easy to use.

Very quick service, within an hour I had my valuation set up with 2 different companies. Saves time as well as you don't need to trawl the internet.

Mrs susan fletcher

It really helped my decision making

There are so many estate agents to choose from but they provided details with the numbers of houses each had sold in my area and which had achieved the asking price which I found most helpful

Mrs Heather Marshall

Choose the right agent for your house.

An amazingly easy way to choose your estate agent with total confidence. I did and among the many found the right one for my house. Speedy, responsive, considerate and effective. Thank you.

Ms Jean Bywater

Good easy to understand info. They even got the agents to contact me, so I didn't need to chase them.
