We had heard no end of horror stories about the London rental market - but our experience couldn't have been further from that with Horton and Garton! The wonderful Alliyah helped my parter and I find a great place (and move in! ) in a matter of weeks and the process was smooth from start to finish. We couldn't be happier and would recommend their services to anyone.

We had constant communication and high touch assistance in guiding a sitting tenant out of our property whilst at the same time prepping and listing the apartment for sale. 30th Mar 2024 (21 days ago)Very bad service. They are liars. When you get in their property once you're are screwed as they don't respond to any of your calls afterwards. Two of their employees named abul & yen were very misbehaving. They don't know how to talk to their clients. So all in all, they are no good. Would never deal with them ever again.

Elliot Rainbow has sold properties for me during this time and always looked after my portfolio. He offer a Hand off experience so we are always rested with no worries! Just let our flats in Manderin Oriental residences and no other agent has yet to let any in there! Thanks EBI
3rd Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)Im shocked at the level of lack professionalism disreguard of potential tennents aswell of lack of care. I arranged a viewing for saturday. Its a good job i called up to confirm and check the address. Turns out my viewing had been cancelled as property was gone. No one called me to update me. I would of been standing out side waiting in the rain and no one would of been coming. To add insult to the matter, when asked why i wasnt informed i was told there was 40-50 people viewing, they didnt have time to call so many people. The lack of care and whatever attidtude is some what concerning. So basicaly we dont care about letting you know you been cancelled. Leads me to wounder if they are the same with tennants. If something needs replacing or fixing will they even respond?

Their advice on selling price was on the mark which saved a lot of messing around. Very easy to deal with compared to other agents. Daniel maxed out our viewings at what is traditionally a quiet time of year & got us a quality buyer. Daniel also was on the ball throughout the Sales Progression. We strongly recommend. THANK YOU VERY MUCH

Looking for a place to rent in the current market isn’t the easiest process, but Huw Howell-Pryce has made it very smooth sailing, which I really appreciate and helped take some of the stress off for myself. Would definitely recommend!
18th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
