Amazing experience. I was moving to London in a really short time and my estate agent (Charlotte Bailly) made my life so much easier and helped me a lot, even still now. I would definitely recommend her and the agency!

pompous newbies will attempt to boss you into giving your address for no reason that they can explain. I don't mind random company policies but at least don't have an attitude because of your own lack of knowledge.
My partner and I were under an incredible time pressure. Which wouldn't be hard except that we are both highly particular about our living arrangement.
Karan at foxtons came in with a lot of confidence which I was initially wary of. However every promise he gave was fully backed without a hiccup along the way. In a field thick with lies and empty promises it was a breath of fresh air to work with Karan who was quick to respond to any query.
Contacted them two months ago looking for a flat. A guy name Tom was very nice on the phone but not once in person. He argued that I said my limit was 1,300 pcm while I said 1,200 pcm. However, he showed us 4 flats, none of them under 1,300 (the cheapest was 1,350), insisting in that "the normal thing is to spend the 80% of the salary on the rent. Well, that may be your case Tom, but I don't want to struggle every month to pay my bills. He rudly insists so much on this that he even took a calculator and started calculating how much money we would still have after paying 1400 for a 1 bedroom flat near Portobello Market (btw, I thought the limit supposed to be 1300...). He also added that we will not find a 1 bedroom flat for less than 1300, unless we go to live to heathrow. Well, guess what Tom, we find it in Hackney for 1150, and it is not the crappy flats you showed to us (one of them included the landlords -an old couple that, I guess, wasn't expecting having two girls living together- living on the second floor of the building). I am not saying this the experience you will get with Foxtons. Not at all, at the same time colleagues from Foxtons Archway, Ealing and Greenwich were being incredibly kind and professional with us. I just believe this particular "Tom" from Foxtons Notting Hill is only used to work with wealthy people that would pay whatever they asked for a old, muddy, crappy flat in Kensington. It's fine, just tell me from the begining and don't go wasting my time.
Ollie Fuller was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was very responsive and knowledgeable. Thank you.
Absolute nightmare. Foxtons have failed to deliver on any of their responsibilities. The only time they were really keen on getting things done is when it was our turn to pay 6 months' rent up front. They didn't get the apartment cleaned before our arrival, despite delaying our move-in to allow time for them to do so, they didn't provide a 2nd set of keys, despite promising to do so and were rude and unhelpful every step of the way. One piece of the paperwork we were supposed to provide was missing (because they told me it was not necessary) and one of their agents actually said "Well I'm not letting you move in without [the document]". On top of the advertised admin fees were were presented with around £300 of hidden extra charges as well as a 2% credit card charge, which they failed to warn us about, which again was in the £300 range, their service costing over 2x as much in the end than advertised. I would never recommend them to anyone. I know they have a large range of flats on offer, but I would urge everyone to do their best to avoid Foxtons.
Tom , Sami and the Team did a knock-out job securing the asking price within weeks of appointment. I could not recommend them enough. I would add that they were particularly sensitive and helpful to my sister and my personal considerations whilst probate was being granted.
Extremely unprofessional service on lettings, extremely ignorant agents. dont do their works. Very regret that I rent with them. We have to call them day to day in order to get informed. ??? excuse me ?!
go to Savills, they are much more better agents. knight frank is just disappointingly unprofessional.
It was my first time renting in London and I was very pleased with all the help Sam Faid MARLA gave me through the process. She was very helpful and always on the phone when I had many questions. Thank you I highly recommend
The worst experience ever! Be prepared to involve your lawyers before signing anything with them. They are the worst authorized delinquents! Incompetents and thieves! They only do their interests! I strongly discourage everyone to cross their door.
We had the most amazing experience with KF and their agent Annabelle. A pleasure to deal with but also incredibly professional and savvy throughout the transaction. I couldn't recommend her more highly.
SOMEONE ACCESSED TO MY FLAT WITHOUT MY PERMISSION
Today I arrived after a summer break finding all my furniture, personal items shuffled and moved. Windows open and handle damaged, main door closed but unlocked. During August, Knight and Frank agents emailed me for permission for viewings for a new tenant which I confirmed.
But this does not give permission to change the condition of the flat, move around personal items and leave windows open and damaged. Nothing is stolen but a stranger accessed to my flat. Police who came for inspection confirmed that who has keys could have entered which leaves only Knight and Frank agents could be responsible for during the viewings.
I tried to contact them via email and emergency number but could not get any response. I would never sign a contract with them nor recommend them.
