When they did pick up, they told me they’ll call me back after 15 minutes without even taking my number. It’s been an hour now, no one called. If that’s how it is from the beginning, then I will not be giving them my money.

7th Sep 2025 (6 mo. ago)We bought and sold with Sara and would highly recommend her. She was always available at whatever time (frequent 10pm email conversations!) and even when she was abroad for a few days when we completed. We had a very complicated purchase during which Sara communicated with solicitors, other estate agents, vendors living abroad, and our purchasers to make everything happen with a great deal of tact and common sense. Our purchase and sale would not have happened without her.

27th Oct 2021 (4 years ago)Shut two afternoons in a row with no notice, no info on website, just a handwritten sign in the door. Can't collect Amazon parcels, make PayPoint payments etc as a result. At least keep customers informed online and also inform Amazon so customers don't keep on trying to get items delivered there when the delivery driver can't gain access.

And what can we say about John Duffy from the Wokingham office … John is the upmost professional and certainly knows his stuff. Always checking in to make sure we are happy with everything, his communication is absolutely amazing. He has made the whole process stress free and seamless for us ! Thank you John 5 Star service all round ????
20th Sep 2025 (6 mo. ago)I recently viewed a property I was very interested in and made it clear I wanted to put in an offer and in a chain-free position. Despite this, the agent sold to a buyer involved in a chain. When I asked whether it would have been better for their vendor to receive multiple offers, I was told “of course we will take two sales over one.” When that sale later fell through and the property came back to market, I was contacted to view again. Unfortunately, the exact same situation occurred again. I was apprehensive to move forward given the previous time and again, whilst in discussion with the agent, not given a fair opportunity to put in an offer, while the agent managed to reconnect the chain. I understand that the market is difficult, but prioritising an internal double-deal over the vendor’s best interests feels deeply underhand. If I were the seller, I would be furious to learn this was happening. On a separate note, I was taken aback by the line of questioning I received during the viewing. Being quizzed about my age and affordability, along with comments like I “only look about 15”, came across as unprofessional and demeaning. It left me feeling uncomfortable and put me off wanting to view further properties with this agent.

29th Aug 2024 (1 year ago)I cannot speak highly enough of Kate Fox-Beckett. She really is a lovely person and very kind while also being 100% professional and totally proactive which is vital to see everything through to completion. Throughout the entire process Kate was the only agent who regularly kept in touch with the whole chain, holding all the different threads together when everything seemed to be at a standstill. Then my friend had the good fortune to find a house that was about to be marketed by Kate. My friend had the bright idea to contact Kate to let her know the sort of house they were looking for, and by an incredible stroke of luck she had exactly the right house just about to come on to the market. From then on everything went smoothly for my friend, with Kate actively keeping in touch and lifting spirits during what could have been an incredibly stressful time. Thank you Kate, of all the estate agents I've ever met, you really are the best.
