2nd Sep 2026 (15 days ago)I wanted to share my experience selling my property through Fox & Sons Gosport under a shared ownership scheme, specifically to highlight the exceptional service provided by Marion Barton.<br><br>Initially, the process was off to a disappointing start. Once a buyer had been found, the communication from my original point of contact dropped significantly. Given that the agency fees were over three times what I was paying my solicitor, the service fell far short of what I expected, to the extent that I had to start copying management into correspondence just to get things moving.<br><br>Then Marion stepped in to take over the progression of the sale, and overnight, everything changed.<br><br>From that moment on, Marion was a breath of fresh air. She was remarkably efficient, proactive, and thoroughly professional. Every interaction with her was reassuring; she brought a genuine warmth and personal care to the process that made us feel valued rather than just another transaction on a spreadsheet.<br><br>Our sale was particularly frustrating due to an excruciatingly slow solicitor on the buyer’s side. Marion identified the bottleneck immediately and stayed on top of it relentlessly. She applied the right pressure where it was needed most, without ever over-promising or under-delivering. When Marion said she would handle something, it was done.<br><br>Selling a shared ownership home is inherently stressful, but Marion’s dedication and tenacity made a world of difference. She is an absolute credit to Fox & Sons, and I cannot thank her enough for getting our sale over the line. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an agent who genuinely cares and delivers results.

Paul Vincent was very quick to respond to calls and emails, and provided me with all the information I asked for. Josh was also great for showing me around the property whenever I requested it and for giving me information during the viewing, while allowing me the freedom to browse as long as I needed.

1st Sep 2026 (16 days ago)Worst rental experience of my life. They rented my family and me a freezing-cold apartment in South Western House at a very high rent. Despite repeated complaints, in my experience our concerns about the unacceptable cold and problems relating to the parking space were not properly addressed.<br>At the end of the tenancy, they charged us £145 for cleaning, even though I strongly believe we left the apartment in better condition than we received it.<br>I disputed the charge, and the dispute then resulted in a further £222 arbitration fee. Ultimately, I paid the amount after repeated references to debt collection and the potential impact on my credit record that caused considerable stress to my family.<br>Given what we experienced, I find it difficult to reconcile our experience with the large number of very positive reviews.<br>I would never rent through this agency again and would strongly advise prospective tenants to examine the terms, fees and dispute procedures extremely carefully before signing anything.

Robert communicated with ourselves, our buyers and chased buyers solicitors when needed, his team also were a great help when he was on holiday. Robert recommended Switalski Solicitora and Sarah was amazing, she was so efficient and kept us updated every step of the way.<br>We felt truly looked after and considering house moving could be very stressful, we honestly thought we had a smooth and easy experience.<br>Thanks to all involved!

However, my tenancy has now concluded, and we are currently addressing the process for the refund of my security deposit. There has been minimal, and I would even venture to say no, communication regarding this matter.
