9th Apr 2026 (9 weeks ago)Great to start with but once we signed contracts all communications stopped. We never received any updates at all, we had to chase them every time. We eventually gave notice in writing to terminate the contract and nobody bothered to contact us to ask why we were leaving? Very poor customer service- 11th Dec 2025 (6 mo. ago)We bought a house through Thomas James. Ben was very helpful and kept the purchase on track through some tricky times. Completed yesterday! Thanks Ben :)

Viewings were booked in to work around us and feedback was provided to us in a timely manner. Would definitely use them again in the future.- 15th May 2024 (2 years ago)Prompt valuation visit by experienced agent with excellent local knowledge. Great communication, managed all the viewings and sale made within 6 weeks. Some inevitable haggling over the price handled well with good guidance.

We were buying a property that they had on the market and were unfortunately dealing with some less than supportive solicitors. Mel was amazing throughout and helped guide us through a very stressful process and helped us feel like our voices were heard. If it hadn't have been for the team at Hammond Properties, we likely would not have been able to move into our home before Christmas. A massive thank you to Mel and the team at Hammond Properties for their help in buying our first home.

Best agents I have ever dealt with - communication was second to none, checking in all the time, updating, calling in when I was sick to check on me ! way above and beyond. Totally professional, ensured all 3 knew my property inside out - just fantastic, open, honest, transparent - absolute pleasure to have dealt with them and if ever I sell again, they will be who I chose hands down.

They have always been fantastic and I can find little to fault them over the years that I was with them, and the way they managed the invitable bumps that emerged along the way.

They provided us with superb advice, supported us all the way and sold our house quickly and efficiently for the asking price. I could not fault them in anyway. 14th Feb 2026 (17 weeks ago)I am currently selling my house with Smiths, and have been extremely grateful of their meticulousness and strong communication. I have been particularly impressed with their vetting of potential buyers - people have been requesting to view the house, but are nowhere near in a position to purchase, meaning I don’t have to prepare the house or get my hopes up for a buyer that would never come to fruition. Instead, we have received viewings from properly vetted prospective purchasers, one of whom will hopefully make an offer soon!
