16th Feb 2022 (4 years ago)Worst company imaginable. Gave us misinformation for over six months regarding entry dates and also told us development was finished when it was not. Double check everything you are told by them. They misled us and we ended up over £18000 out of pocket. Avoid this company at all cost. They don’t admit liability for anything they do.

31st May 2024 (2 years ago)We used GAP estate agent to sell our property. All the staff were friendly and excellent in their communication with us. Every query or matter was dealt with promptly. A special thanks to Laura and Jan who we mainly dealt with. Laura certainly went that extra mile to help wherever she could. We were also recommended a local couple for conducting viewings and they were excellent. Overall a very good experience and we would recommend GAP. Thank you.

21st Apr 2026 (8 weeks ago)We had previously tried to market our plot with Bell Ingram, Oban in 2023/24, with little interest which, at the time, we put down to market forces. We are considering marketing our plot again, so contacted Andrew Fuller on 16 March. Even after two further calls, one text message and two emails we have not heard a thing as at 21 April despite being promised several times that Mr Fuller would be in touch. This is appalling service for an existing customer with property to sell. If it was possible to award zero stars we would, as their service and even communication has been non-existent, and we now wonder whether the previous lack of viewings was down to their lack of effort. We wouldn't now rely on them to market a bag of crisps and have contacted another agent.

5th Sep 2023 (2 years ago)Was so disappointed with the carry out as 1st time and got prices on line which apparently have not been updated ordered veg pakora chicken pakora and poppadoms and spiced onions £18.96 when I queried this she said it was 2 poppadoms and spiced onions it's not the best experience as the prices are very much more expensive 6.99 chicken pakora and 5.99 for veg pakora 2.99 poppadoms and spiced onions. Only exotic thing about this place is the prices. UPDATE After owners reply STILL no update on prices and as previously mentioned the poppadoms and spiced onions come together what they need to mention that a portion is 2 poppadoms broken up as when I ordered 2 poppadoms and spiced onions got the equivalent of 4 poppadoms at 5.98 so this needs to be clearer on the menu also as how many poppadoms do you need for 2 people.
21st Nov 2024 (1 year ago)I used the company for a house title deeds transfer. From start to finish I experienced serviced that was of the highest quality. Staff, especially Iain and Amber, went above and beyond to make sure everything was completed in a timely manner. Would highly recommend, and will use again for sure.

They were extremely responsive when we asked questions and happy to explain any questions we may have. We also used them for our Will and we had the same, pleasure experience. Highly recommended.

We can’t thank them enough for their advice and insights regarding the property market and also for their very patient human-focussed approach! They manage to combine absolute professionalism with a very warm and friendly approach. Selling a home can be quite a stressful experience, and both Hamish and Amy were there to support and advise us, answering all our queries and keeping us fully updated from the beginning right through until completion, including organising the surveyor report and photographs. Once we were ‘live’ on the website we had viewings booked almost instantly and a sale agreed within a few weeks. They were an absolute pleasure to work with and we have no hesitation in recommending the Perth office of Strutt and Parker to anyone wanting a smooth selling process with very personally tailored advice. 9th Jan 2021 (5 years ago)Dealt with Dianne - Buchannan Burton’s Estate Agent. When visiting our house for a valuation, all measures were taken to comply with COVID-19 instructions. We were given great advice and could not be happier with the service and with the communication from the staff as a whole. Dealt with Sandra Burton (solicitor) and the transaction for the house sale went through without any hitches. Would highly recommend dealing with them for your house sale from start to finish. Thank you everyone for the great service.

15th Nov 2024 (1 year ago)Overestimated price at quote stage and advised a lower one as soon as home report valuation was received, suggesting upset price 10k below valuation. Little feedback on website viewing figures unless I phoned to request it. Support for property viewings and feedback from viewers was reasonable. Once an offer was received, I had to email and phone Thornton's legal team repeatedly to chase progress. Title deeds were already held by Thornton's, but it took two weeks to scan and email them to the solicitor, delaying written acceptance of the offer beyond the deadline given by the buyer. Solicitor handling my case seemed to think this was normal and deadlines for acceptance of offers were usually ignored. Sale is not yet complete, but I would avoid using the same company for estate agency and legal services in future. It seems to encourage complacency and inefficiency, the opposite of what I expected.
