12th Mar 2026 (21 weeks ago)Savills were the letting agent for my property for about 6yrs after being bought by Area Estates. Savills do bare minimum with regards to repairs and maintenance. Camilla Kirby who recently left the company was lovely and made every effort to assist with the limited authority she had, sadly she was replaced by Rachel Bentley who is condescending, rude and quite frankly should not deal with the public in any capacity. Following a S21 notice due to selling before the new landlord rules come into affect in May, they attempted to charge £760 for removal of a fish tank from the loft of property despite it being in the property from the beginning of the tenancy and having no proof it wasn’t. She lied in a reference and stated that it couldn’t be changed as the director had approved it, and when I pressed her saying the reference was factually incorrect she stated “the DWP may be able to assist you with something in writing about your benefits”.

Emma Davies & Eleanor Dowse were an absolute pleasure to work with, kept us updated on how the process was proceeding & answered any questions & queries that we had. Only irritation is that this was a probate sale and my sisters were often not emailed information, despite multiple requests that we all be kept informed

19th Jun 2026 (7 weeks ago)All staff very friendly and particular thanks to Kieran who was very patient and helpful. He was very good at liaising with the solicitors and keeping things moving. We were selling from afar and they were able to be key holders and to advise about local tradespeople which was really helpful.

She was professional, responsive, and kept me informed every step of the way. Any questions or concerns were dealt with promptly, and her friendly approach made the whole transition much easier.
