12th Mar 2026 (7 mo. ago)Savills were the letting agent for my property for about 6yrs after being bought by Area Estates. Savills do bare minimum with regards to repairs and maintenance. Camilla Kirby who recently left the company was lovely and made every effort to assist with the limited authority she had, sadly she was replaced by Rachel Bentley who is condescending, rude and quite frankly should not deal with the public in any capacity. Following a S21 notice due to selling before the new landlord rules come into affect in May, they attempted to charge £760 for removal of a fish tank from the loft of property despite it being in the property from the beginning of the tenancy and having no proof it wasn’t. She lied in a reference and stated that it couldn’t be changed as the director had approved it, and when I pressed her saying the reference was factually incorrect she stated “the DWP may be able to assist you with something in writing about your benefits”.
14th Oct 2026 (19 days ago)Emma at Cobb undertook the selling of our property in Knighton and from start to finish it felt like our sale was in the hands of not only a dedicated professional who knows the market intimately, but of a compassionate individual who really cares about making the process as simple and smooth as possible with all the care and attention you could possibly wish for. Everything was top notch, from the initial enquiry, through the creation of the property details with excellent photographs and descriptions and on to the completion. Emma was always on hand, whether at the end of the phone, in the Knighton office or by email. Being looked after by someone who both lives and works in the area was a huge benefit and was an important factor in our decision to use Cobb Amos as our selling agent. We're so very glad she grateful we did!

When the house we had planned to rent with someone else fell through last minute, Spencer Jakeman jumped in and sorted us out with a fabulous flat, and had everything done, sorted and organised in 4 days!! I honestly can't rate them highly enough for how they have acted, highly professional, and quick to act. Excellent communication, and seamless process.

Selling a house can be stressful, but the whole process was handled with professionalism and genuine care, which made a huge difference to us. We always felt supported and kept informed, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. We were selling from afar and they were able to be key holders and to advise about local tradespeople which was really helpful.
