12th Mar 2026 (14 weeks ago)Savills were the letting agent for my property for about 6yrs after being bought by Area Estates. Savills do bare minimum with regards to repairs and maintenance. Camilla Kirby who recently left the company was lovely and made every effort to assist with the limited authority she had, sadly she was replaced by Rachel Bentley who is condescending, rude and quite frankly should not deal with the public in any capacity. Following a S21 notice due to selling before the new landlord rules come into affect in May, they attempted to charge £760 for removal of a fish tank from the loft of property despite it being in the property from the beginning of the tenancy and having no proof it wasn’t. She lied in a reference and stated that it couldn’t be changed as the director had approved it, and when I pressed her saying the reference was factually incorrect she stated “the DWP may be able to assist you with something in writing about your benefits”.

Emma Davies & Eleanor Dowse were an absolute pleasure to work with, kept us updated on how the process was proceeding & answered any questions & queries that we had. They represent Cobb Amos exceptionally & we would not hesitate to recommend them.

Only irritation is that this was a probate sale and my sisters were often not emailed information, despite multiple requests that we all be kept informed
1st Apr 2026 (11 weeks ago)Fodens did a great job of selling our property at a competitive price. When choosing agents, Fodens showed far more engagement with the property than other local companies, who gave the impression that it was just another property. Jenny 'got' our quirky, character property and this enthusiasm was clear in the marketing material, and no doubt was evident during viewings. We were selling at distance, as this was a probate sale, so not the most straightforward circumstances, further complicated by the death of our mother mid-process. Jenny was very understanding and managed to keep this process as stress free as we could have wished. We never met Jenny in person but it didn't feel like it. Well done to her and the team at Fodens for driving this sale over the line so smoothly.

He has answered all of my questions, he went above and beyond to help, and the communication was brilliant. Overall first class service.

22nd Mar 2024 (2 years ago)Only communicated with us twice in 16 weeks, once for the only viewing. Seemed to drop us immediately when we told them we were looking at another estate agent.

28th May 2026 (21 days ago)Just no! There customer service is beyond awful. There specialists are not worth there money. As proof I had two copies of 1 item, one valued at halls one valued by another firm. The halls valuation was less than 100 pounds. Yet the other was valued and sold for 800 pounds. Both items where I. Identical condition. I would not trust this company again. I should point out both items where sold in the Shrewsbury area. So the difference cannot be put down to regional differences. Be very wary if planning to or currently using this firm.
