1st Aug 2025 (1 year ago)We worked with Stuart on buying our place in Cobham and he was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. His personal approach meant that when there were delays in the chain, he kept very calm, managed the seller very well and didn’t put any pressure on us even though the chain was at risk. Very understanding, happy to help out where he could and someone we would definitely use to sell our place in the future. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

I would highly recommend Davis homes and would use them again if we need to sell a property in future

They always answer the phone and any questions, everything is documented and explained, nothing is too much trouble. Effective communication is essential, and they truly excelled at it!
20th Oct 2025 (11 mo. ago)When I enquired about a property’s asking price and the seller’s position, I was met with terse, dismissive replies from the female agent I spoke to on the phone - a remarkably unhelpful attitude towards a serious buyer. I decided to proceed with the viewing regardless, but communication remained poor throughout. Afterwards, I submitted a formal offer, which was completely ignored. I never received any confirmation or follow-up, and it appeared my offer may not even have been passed to the vendors - which, if true, would be a breach of legal duty. The overall experience suggested a lack of basic organisation, professionalism, and integrity. For sellers, that should be alarming; for buyers, it’s simply exasperating. I would strongly advise caution when dealing with this agency.

Good prompt valuation, marketed very well online and in a printed brochure with good photos and text. The property was under offer in less than two weeks on the market. Professional handling of the offer and follow up since then has also been extremely good. Communication throughout has been friendly and very clear.

They worked tirelessly to support us, with regular communication and updates. They were always honest, helpful and patient. Having had a glimpse of how hard it is to manage a chain, their calm, cheerful resilience made a stressful time bearable with the most fantastic outcome. They are not only great estate agents, they are genuinely lovely decent people. We won’t be moving again for a long time as we are now living in our dream home but when we do, we will use Fells Gulliver. We have no hesitation it recommending them wholeheartedly.

12th May 2026 (19 weeks ago)I viewed the shop and called the office straight away to make an offer. I asked for Lyndsey, but the woman who answered pretended to be her even though she clearly wasn’t. I also emailed my offer the same day but they never confirmed they received it. A few days later I went to the office asking for Lyndsey. Someone interrupted and said they would help instead. They promised to call me back but never did. When I called today they lied saying they had called me yesterday and told me the shop was gone. I don’t know why they treated me this way, but I’ve never experienced such poor and unprofessional service from any other estate agent.

A special mention must go to Chris, whose communication skills are second to none. He kept me constantly updated and masterfully coordinated with both the solicitors and the other estate agents involved in the chain, making a stressful process feel incredibly smooth. Every single member of staff at the Hailsham office was professional, friendly, and helpful throughout. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
