poor customer service I sent courier they turned them away for my goods I paid for courier to re attend after calling saying there is 2 lots to pick up my courier comes back with 1 lot I called spoke to a lady promised a call back still nothing and I'm £200 out of pocket don't trust them costly lesson
So pleased that we chose to sell our house with Burns and Reid rather than an “online” estate agent. This was our first house sale and the help, advice, support and regular updates that we received from the team at B&R was excellent. I just don’t think that we would have got that personal touch and proactive service elsewhere. They have no upfront fees and gave us a fixed price that is only paid once the sale has completed. Having sold our house, it was our intention to rent whilst looking for a new home and we would have loved to have used B&R for that too, but as we are moving out of the area, it wasn’t possible. As a landlord, Burns & Reid are the worst letting agents that I have used in 15 years. A truly awful experience.
I can highly recommend this agency. In August we found ourselves having to move from our house at very short notice (having sold it some three months earlier). Kelrick were very helpful, pulling out all the stops to get us into a short term rental within 48 hours! Great people to deal with!
Made appointment to value mums property, took day off work and travelled from Bolton. Called them when they were 30 minutes late to be told Agent was off sick and nobody had checked her diary. Glad I didn't have them to sell house if that is how professional they work. Waste of a day
Post initial comment I received a telephone call from Pauline to apologise and explain why she didn't turn up and to ask for another opportunity. I appreciated the call and accept the apology., I realise we all make mistakes.
I have been a tenant through David Davies for the past 3 years. I have found the company very helpful both with helping me finding a property to rent and with communicating with my landlord(s). My queries are always answered in a friendly manner and Gill in particular always contacts me ASAP if I leave a message specifically for her. House inspections are always done thoroughly, which has allowed me to receive my deposit back when I have left a property. Any repairs have been completed by my landlord(s) promptly. The service that I have received has been second-to-none from David Davies and I would highly recommend them more so than a local competitor that I have previously been with.
While I initially thought the professional approach of this company would meet my needs, in the event I was extremely disappointed by the service received. Communications were incredibly frustrating and instructions were not followed. I would definitely not recommend this company.
I went to view a property for rent which Reeds Rains had available prior to the Christmas period. I was met at the property by Kayleigh who was punctual and friendly and dealt with me in a very customer focused and professional manner. She was also very knowledgeable and able to answer all the questions I had on the house and the local area.
The house was almost perfect however the second bedroom was a little on the small side so unfortunately was not suitable. The service I received was outstanding and I would recommend to all.
I wish I could give negative stars about this place.. They are currently "managing" a property for me that I pay £150 a month for yet I do not see the value of this whatsoever... They are constantly messing both me and contractors about when we are wanting to do work on the house and a simple job of titling a bathroom is currently taking longer that 6 months to do.... A contractor of mine needed to go into the house when the tenants werent in and when he arrived he then had to go home because Reeds Rains didn't have a set of keys (it had been planned for a week...) Surely that should of been the first thing to think about... I am at the end of my tether with these guys and at the moment I am in a full time job working long hours (hence why I need them to "manage" the property for me) and I feel I need to pay someone to manage Reeds Rains to manage the property... What a joke!
Cannot begin to describe how easy and stress-free Richard and Linda made the moving process for me from start to finish!! Could not recommend New Brooklands highly enough to anyone in the area :)

Thought the estate agent was rude and snappy. He did not listen or give me a chance to speak. Will not be buying a house from this company. It's not very often I review anything, probably haven't done one all year.
