18th Dec 2024 (29 days ago)I originally came across Athertons when I saw a property on Rightmove that they were selling. Sam showed me around the property which turned out to be unsuitable for me. However, Sam came across as professional and knowledge. At that stage my property had been on the market for over three months with one of the big local agencies who got me lots of viewings but no offers. I therefore terminated the contract with them. Following the termination I decided to engage Athertons to manage my sale. Sam came with his photographer. They produced a more professional set of images and a video Within a few weeks of engaging Athertons they had secured a sale at a price very close to my asking price. The ongoing sales process was managed by Owen. He regularly contacted me to provide updates, he was great at chasing the solicitors on both sides. I thoroughly recommend Athertons.

We sold and purchased with Arnold & Philips and it was the least stressed I’ve ever been moving house. They really look after you, and take away the stress and pressure. I also thought it was a really nice touch the way they present your new home keys, really made a difference. They’re always checking in, not only to see how things are progressing but how you are doing too. Charlie had his Angels and we had Janet, Francine & Katherine! Best estate agent I’ve ever used!

We had a few problems regarding the title deeds & I rang them daily for updates, they left me feeling reassured & took the pressure off! Thank you, we really appreciate everything you did for us & we are now in our forever home.

27th Aug 2024 (20 weeks ago)Contacted the estate agents sales team on a number of occasions to arrange a viewing. In the end I had to drive 15 miles to go to their branch to arrange one. When I attended, the estate agent was late but I stayed optimistic. All of 10 seconds into my viewing another 2 people came for their viewing. The estate agent didn't hesitate or take into consideration my views and invited them in for a "group viewing". I couldn't view the property at my leisure as I was stood in other rooms waiting for the other party to finish looking. When they left and I returned downstairs another 2 people attended. This was the final straw so I left. Poor professionalism, even worse advertisement for the property. I know the estate agents aren't accountable for a properties condition but you can't advertise something as "fully refurbished" when it clearly isn't.

25th Apr 2024 (8 mo. ago)We booked an appointment to view a property on Saturday 20th April. Just after appointment time when we were at the property got a call to say the person who was showing us round was ill and he had the keys to the property. We were very annoyed not been told earlier. Looking on line a couple of days later the property was sold how strange. I wondered why they didn't contact us to rearrange the viewing. Not very professional.

I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. 30th Oct 2024 (11 weeks ago)This is to the team at prescot belvoir, I would just like to say I had the best experience selling my house from start to finish, the entire process with the belvoir team was brilliant, Holly and Elise were very helpful over the phone and really did help us out. The sales agent James was very professional and informative at the viewings and made the process extremely smooth, couldn’t recommend this team anymore! Thank you to all. They even gave me and my partner a move in box to celebrate our new home which was a lovely touch.
