21st Feb 2026 (7 mo. ago)Having approached 3 estate agents to value the property I was most impressed by the work undertaken from the outset by Steven Goff. Although not the cheapest in terms of commission they seemed more professional than the competition. Since placing the business in their hands I have been extremely impressed by their work in relation to organising everything such as viewings and marketing and updating me at every stage. I have been most appreciative of the work undertaken by the whole team and in particular Lauren.
25th Mar 2026 (6 mo. ago)We experienced ongoing issues with repairs not being addressed (a bathroom light remained broken for several months after a leak). We were also asked to conduct viewings ourselves before moving out, which we did not feel was our responsibility. On moving in, there were also cleanliness issues, including mould in the washing machine drawer and cupboards left full of cleaning products from previous occupancy. We later found these same items referenced when deductions from our deposit were discussed, which was frustrating. Overall, prospective tenants may wish to ensure maintenance expectations and check-in inventories are clearly documented before signing.

Akos was outstanding throughout the process—his efficiency, professionalism, and consistently positive attitude made everything run smoothly and took a huge amount of stress out of what can often be a complicated journey. Over the several months it took to complete the purchase, the rest of the team were equally brilliant; Imogen, Debra, and everyone else involved were always helpful, approachable, and quick to respond, making the whole process feel straightforward and well-supported at every stage. Their collective expertise and genuine commitment to getting the best outcome really shone through and made a big difference. I would wholeheartedly recommend Blundells Chapeltown—and especially Akos, Imogen, Debra, and the wider team—to anyone looking to buy or sell a home; they truly go above and beyond.

Outstanding support when things got difficult I first contacted Reeds Rains – previously at 16-18 Moorgate Street, now at Wickersley Rotherham in March 2024 to help me find a flat. From the start, I was told the landlord would manage the property. I thought it would make no difference whether it was managed by the agent or landlord, but it turned out to be a terrible experience all through my stay of over two years. What impressed me most was that the team stood by me from beginning to end, even when issues arose over my deposit. They guided me step-by-step and helped me successfully recover my full deposit plus overpaid rent — something I could not have done without their support. A special mention for Abby — even though she is no longer with the company, her hard work, resilience and dedication were truly noticed and appreciated. I also want to say the Accounts Department was absolutely amazing — efficient, helpful and always there when I needed them. Thank you to every member of the team. I couldn't remember names, the branch manager and other staff members was brilliant. You turned a very stressful situation around and showed real care for your tenants. I highly recommend this office.

All photographs were representative of our actual property, not funny angles just as it is. One viewer commented that ours was the only property she had see that actually looked like the photographs. From the very beginning, they were so helpful and supportive throughout our house search.<br><br>A special thank you to Fynn, who went above and beyond for us. He always tried his best to fit us in for viewings, regularly called to see how we were getting on and whether we had found anywhere, and would always send us properties that matched exactly what we were looking for.<br><br>We have now found our house, unfortunately not through Haybrook, but we still wanted to take the time to say a huge thank you for everything they did for us throughout our search. The communication, effort and personal touch made such a difference.<br><br>Thank you again to the whole team, and especially Fynn, for all your help. We really appreciate everything you did for us and couldn’t recommend Haybrook enough! ??????

6th Sep 2026 (19 days ago)Avoid this company they made buying our first home an awful experience. I’d especially advise you to avoid Susie Ralston and Paul Howell. Told me the role as an estate agent is to list and sell a property and any chasing of a chain is simply a good will gesture and falls outside of the estate agent’s ethics.<br>They had the audacity to advise thier contact log showed 32 contact points since April. Yes 32 times I had to chase and ask for updates to which I was met with nothing meaningful and to contact my solicitor. They also had the cheek to say I knew the vendors daughter in law so I had updates from them - shouldn’t have to justify I know sometime from a school run not personally as a friend.<br>Ignored my complaint request for compensation.<br>Property onbudsman is my next step.

22nd Sep 2026 (3 days ago)Failed to refix for sale board after it fell down within a couple of weeks of going up (badly installed damaged my property it had been incorrectly fitted to). Failed to supply second for sale board I have paid for. Accompanied viewings, one of the two guys that did it just stood on front doorstep, turned up late, and one time even brought his kids who where left in his car, so he was backwards and forwards between car and front step
