6th Jun 2026 (21 weeks ago)I would rate 2Roost Estate Agents as average overall — you get what you pay for. They initially valued my property around £25,000 higher than what it eventually sold for, which I found disappointing and unrealistic. The staff were friendly throughout the process and the photographs they took of the property were very good. However, I felt the overall service lacked experience and professionalism at times. On one occasion, my front door was left open overnight due to carelessness, which was completely unacceptable. I also felt there was little flexibility with viewings outside of standard hours, as evening appointments after 5pm were not really accommodated or proactively discussed with me. In addition, some of the offers put forward to me felt unrealistic and far below expectations. While the service was not terrible, it was fairly mediocre overall. Looking back, I probably would have chosen a more established estate agent, even if it meant paying slightly higher fees. Ultimately, you pay peanuts, you get monkeys — lesson learned on my part.

She has consistently gone out of her way to help me out. Definitely couldn't have had a better first renting experience.

22nd Oct 2026 (8 days ago)My initial experience with WHB was not great. My name was used incorrectly on an email and document. I also had a viewing, but no one turned up. I contacted WHB and was told that they did know that the viewing was cancelled, but forget to communicate this to me. My overall experience was ok.
7th Nov 2024 (1 year ago)I viewed three apartments in Central Sheffield with Joshua. He was knowledgeable and helpful. I'm still at the start of my search for a flat, but I think I'll end up getting something from this company... They have a lot on offer...
14th Oct 2026 (16 days ago)This service appears to screen calls and redirect unwanted numbers directly to voicemail. As a result, it is almost impossible to reach a real person. Very frustrating and unprofessional customer experience. I would not recommend them.- 14th Sep 2026 (7 weeks ago)?????<br><br>I cannot recommend Katie Cox and the Blundells Rotherham team highly enough. From our first meeting, Katie was professional, positive, honest and incredibly knowledgeable. Her valuation was backed by detailed market research and a really clear rationale and she got it absolutely spot-on. Our house attracted huge interest immediately and sold at asking price within just four days.<br><br>Katie kept us informed throughout, from photography and marketing to viewing feedback, offers and the performance of our listing across Rightmove and OnTheMarket. Everything was transparent and clearly explained.<br><br>Selling while returning to work after adoption leave could have been overwhelming, but Katie was a constant, reassuring presence: responsive, encouraging and completely committed. By the end, she felt like a genuine cheerleader in our corner. The wider team were equally well-informed, which says a lot about Blundells’ culture.<br><br>Katie is an exceptional agent with a very bright future ahead of her. We would recommend her without hesitation to anyone selling their home.
26th Oct 2026 (4 days ago)I sold a rental property with Gemma Bellamy's team in Jul 25, with Reeds selected after meeting Victoria, who was pretty much the only useful person I dealt with, but sparingly available.<br><br>Key issues:<br>- Negotiation was shockingly bad. Their approach was the standard "open house - here's your best offer" after 1 day of viewings. Little interest in negotiation/doing further viewings after. A somewhat satisfactory offer was only obtained further down the line when they were pushed into a corner to do this or lose the business.<br>- Poor progression skills. Maisie: amazingly bad at just about anything she touched. Cheryl: excellent at appeasing and then doing nothing of consequence after.<br>- Work is outsourced; this is used as an explanation as to why branch staff are clueless about your case<br>- Expensive for the quality of service. Another rental completed in half the time and at a competitive price by Hunters<br>- There was an entire day when no one was around to pick up the phone due to staff shortages<br>- The ability to successfully navigate curveballs associated with buyers in the area was a key concern discussed pre-selection and confirmed as a skillset. There was no apparent interest in tackling these when they arose.<br><br>In summary, a very substandard team overseen by a very substandard branch manager. I believe any other Hillsborough estate agent would do a better job of selling a house and at a lower cost.<br><br>EDIT: These concerns were raised repeatedly over the phone and e-mail. The fact that Josh is a lettings employee commenting on the performance of a sales team he doesn't belong to is an excellent example of how poor the sales team is at their job. I've attached some screenshots from just the tail end of a 5 month dragged out process seeing as "you have no record of these concerns". Loads more where that came from.<br><br>In further updates this morning, Josh claims that the team is human and has to start somewhere and that they've all magically improved to market leading standard over the last year. So if you'd like to wager the proceeds of your house sale on Josh's charity cases, look no further than Reeds Rains Hillsborough.

Outstanding support when things got difficult I first contacted Reeds Rains – previously at 16-18 Moorgate Street, now at Wickersley Rotherham in March 2024 to help me find a flat. From the start, I was told the landlord would manage the property. I thought it would make no difference whether it was managed by the agent or landlord, but it turned out to be a terrible experience all through my stay of over two years. What impressed me most was that the team stood by me from beginning to end, even when issues arose over my deposit. They guided me step-by-step and helped me successfully recover my full deposit plus overpaid rent — something I could not have done without their support. A special mention for Abby — even though she is no longer with the company, her hard work, resilience and dedication were truly noticed and appreciated. I also want to say the Accounts Department was absolutely amazing — efficient, helpful and always there when I needed them. Thank you to every member of the team. I couldn't remember names, the branch manager and other staff members was brilliant. You turned a very stressful situation around and showed real care for your tenants. I highly recommend this office.

Within a week of having the property on the market, I found a tenant.<br><br>The process was smooth and I was kept well informed all through. He took the time to clearly explain the entire process, showed us the absolute best options for our situation, and successfully secured our mortgage with zero stress.<br>I also want to give a huge mention to Evie from the estate agency side. She was incredibly helpful and patient, taking us to see a lot of properties. Even though we ultimately found our dream house elsewhere, Evie’s fantastic customer service really stood out. Exceptional team all around—thank you so much!

Andrew (sales progressor) never heard of his role - yet now i have been dealing with Andrew - all estate agents should have this role, to keep things (progressing) and smooth for all involved. She made the whole process of getting started really straightforward.<br><br>Karen was equally brilliant throughout the sale, keeping me updated, answering any questions and helping keep things moving along.<br><br>There were a few challenges along the way, but the team were always friendly, professional and helpful.<br><br>A big thank you to Emily, Karen and the rest of the team for all their help. 7th May 2024 (2 years ago)I had a pleasant stay throughout the year and 6 months plus,from the moment I stepped in their offices I met one agent namely muktah,he was very helpful,a very kind man who knows how to communicate with people,if u have issues he will always be there to help,in life u can never predict ur future,sometimes u hit rock bottom and if u don't have an agent who undestands your struggles you'll definitely have a rough time in the property,i recommend Hallam Hills to a friend whose looking for a place to stay,ask for muktah when u step in their offices you'll never regret it,he's the best of the best ????.

However, I firmly believe it would have taken a lot longer if Lincoln Ralph had not proactively frequently liaised with all parties involved to push the process on to a satisfactory conclusion. It was a very lengthy process due to shared ownership but that was nothing to do with Reeds Rains who were excellent throughout. I would highly recommend this amazing team who absolutely did there best for us at all times, whilst working hard to quickly sort out any unexpected hold ups which cropped up and also for keeping us informed all the way through.
13th Oct 2026 (17 days ago)?????<br><br>Where do we even begin!<br><br>My partner and I recently sold our property through Hughes, and what a rollercoaster of a journey it's been! Through absolutely no fault of Hughes, our experience of buying and selling has certainly had its fair share of ups and downs.<br><br>It all started when we found our first potential home, only to have our offer rejected. The same thing happened with the second property, but thankfully, it was third time lucky!<br><br>Throughout this process, Lewis was incredibly patient, supportive and reassuring, always reminding us that the right property would come along for us and our family. And he was right!<br><br>Fast forward to the day before completion, and what should have been an exciting time turned into our worst nightmare when our buyers pulled out. Rachel worked tirelessly to get everything back on track, going above and beyond to help save our move. I genuinely cannot thank her enough for her determination, hard work and support during what was an incredibly stressful time.<br><br>Even on completion day, the challenges weren't quite over! The property we were purchasing hadn't been fully cleared, with numerous belongings still left behind. Danielle stepped in and communicated with our buyers, explaining the situation and why we hadn't been able to completely empty our own property.<br><br>What really stood out to us was that, whenever another problem arose, there was always someone at Hughes willing to help, reassure us and find a solution.<br><br>I'd like to say a massive personal thank you to Lewis, Rachel, Danielle and the entire Hughes team. You've all played a part in helping our family move into what we hope will be our dream home.<br><br>Buying and selling a house can be stressful at the best of times, but having the right people in your corner makes all the difference.<br><br>We genuinely couldn't have done it without you, and we'll always be grateful.<br><br>Thank you all so much! They exceeded my expectations and were always so warm, kind and practical. They were never far away and were always on hand to deal with my enquiries. Their help and individual expertise every step of the way was so helpful. Whoever employs these wonderful individuals, you are so very lucky to have such exceptional staff! I’m so glad I went with Blundells. Dan is a bit of genius though, he sold it for me and blew me away during the valuation.<br><br>The price was also reasonable and suited my budget well.
