It has been an emotional process with many ups and downs, and both my husband and I are truly grateful to Joeanne and Kerry for staying alongside us throughout. Their patience, understanding, and steady support meant a great deal during what was sometimes a stressful and uncertain time. Joeanne, in particular, was incredibly kind, reassuring, and encouraging when we needed it most. We deeply appreciate their professionalism, persistence, and genuine care in helping us reach this important milestone. Thank you both and your team so much — we will always remember your support and would warmly recommend Bramleys Estate Agents in Elland.
18th Jul 2025 (1 year ago)Charge customer for a expensive cleaning service, when ever the room got broken toile cover and unclean floor from the beginning.Even the wall are dirty with broken mirror on the wall. They don't even want to repair the house ?just continue checking and annoying. Respond: The kitchen floor and ceiling are always flooded with water, but they do nothing for the leaking. I need to clean the floor for many times. They should pay for my cleaning service aswell. No matter how clean when I clean up the room, they always told the tenant it's not clean enough and charge for a expensive cleaning service. They just want to get your money from the deposit. Don't trust them !

Although neither my brother nor myself are local, I could tell Mark was a man of integrity on our first meeting and knew Watsons would help us achieve the best price possible. Their whole process was handled professionally, and we are delighted with the service we received and of course the result. Many thanks!

8th Dec 2024 (1 year ago)We had a mixed experience with Preston Baker. We chose them for their reviews online and at first contact with the Doncaster office they were quick to reply and tried moving our sale along promptly. Then our agent suddenly stopped communicating and when we tried contacting them we found out she had left but no one informed us. This happened a couple of times. Our house was eventually assigned to Terry Burrows (Leeds office) and she was good to us. She took care of our sale for almost a year until the end, even after two potential buyers dropped off and issues with the house made our sale more complicated. Sadly by then the market had changed and we weren’t able to sell for the value we had hoped for. Not sure if I would recommend the Doncaster office. I would recommend Terry for sure. (Terry, if you are reading this thank you for persevering with us and for helping us get a decent price in a difficult selling process)

I don't feel valued as a customer, the way she dealt with our process of buying a house was not professional and very confusing. I would never recommend this agency for any of my friends and I will not be buying a house with them.

24th May 2026 (9 weeks ago)Had an absolutely awful time attempting to get a flat with these agents. We had to constantly call and ask them to actually do the job they said they were going to. Only to then find out they'd given another applicant the property without even telling us because they had "better references". The issue being they never completed our references or actually looked at our documents?? No reason given by the agents of why they never completed our references, they honestly sounded like they couldn't be bothered. Wasted a week of our time when we need to be moving soon, will never be looking at a property through this estate agents ever again.

10th Jul 2025 (1 year ago)There was no real drive to help sell the property, no regular promotion had to ask and push for it several times. Didn’t do checks with people booked for viewing whether they are able to purchase, a lot of no shows as well.

18th Jul 2026 (10 days ago)Currently a tenant with Linley & Simpson, washing machine stopped working so it was replaced with one that is making a lot of noise to the point of shaking the whole house down - this has been going on for over a year, initially they sent someone out after first installation of new machine who came and put plywood on the floor (No help, so i gave up and lived with it) however i have two young children 28 months and 7 months) who get disturbed quite a lot so recently reported to L&S and ive been fobbed off to be told to try and check/clean filter, check if worktop are secured?check other machine settings, bottom line is no machine should be shaking to this point. There are also pins of the carpet gripper edge strips that come through the carpet, this is obviously a hazard to young children who are just walking or crawling, for this i have been told “it looks like it can be tacked down, can you try this”.. there is mould on the outside wall near the window, nothing has been done about this either… i could go on and on with a few other things but it’s already long enough… you get the message, avoid!

Thats rare, that's real service with a no problem is too much attitude. He made everything smooth. If your looking for a hands on estate agent who gives a proper service. 2nd Jun 2026 (8 weeks ago)Aidan was responsive, friendly, and non-pushy or sales-y in his approach to potentially selling our house off-market, giving bespoke and realistic advice drawing on his real knowledge of the local area. He quickly created an excellent teaser video to provide to potential buyers in his existing network which showed off the house very well. Our sale did not proceed but I would not hesitate to recommend him based on our experience.
21st Aug 2025 (11 mo. ago)Property is marked as sold, initially they valued my property price very low if I hadn’t argued yet it sold within two weeks after being put on the market. Communication is very slow, no updates at all, everything is just at stand still no updates of what’s happening, Ella doesn’t respond to emails at all sometimes.
