His experience and communication in the property sector really helped us understand the process. He is focused to the correct level to be engaging but not over powering and laid back enough without being nonchalant, professional, kind, supportive and helpful. Tanyas communication and negotiation with the chain when no one was conversing through their solicitors was invaluable and over and above what she should have had to do. After 3 months of wasted time, false promises, and questionable practices, we ended up finding a property with Ocean. They were a night and day difference in their approach. Laid-back and honest viewings, amazing communication, and very efficient processes in place—we felt looked after throughout. A special shout-out to Seamus, who led the first stage of viewings and kept in contact throughout, and Emily, our moving manager, for guiding us through to the end. Massive thank you to the team, couldn’t ask for anything more.

13th Jan 2026 (6 mo. ago)Edited to reply: I'm sorry Andrew but I haven't had anyone visit about the mould previously you must be referring to previous tenants. I have only ever had visits for radiator issues, a broken cupboard door and the routine inspections. I have never actually been at home for an inspection either. I have also had no email contact with you, only Amy and Luka whereby I am lucky if they respond without me double emailing them. A contractor did visit on the weekend and said there are numerous issues that should have been addressed a long time ago. Can I also ask, if you were aware there were mould issues a long time ago why this has never been mentioned and why was there such a delay in rectifying the problem?I can assure you that any 'poor ventilation' is through no fault of our own given that we purchased a dehumidifier, keep the radiator on every day and have the bathroom window open constantly. Currently a tenant and the communication is horrendous. I have been chasing up a mould issue for over 2 months and I'm lucky to get a response let alone someone be sent out. I've had to contact environmental health as my emails are often ignored. Such a shame as they were initially super helpful when moving in. I'd personally avoid.

He is highly professional and experienced - so much so that we are now selling a second property with him. Being a smaller operation he personally dealt with all aspects of the sale, doing all the viewings and liaison with potential buyers, advising on market conditions, being available by phone to deal with our queries and generally offered a fantastic point of support throughout the process. He kept his eye on the conveyancing too and advised us if things were not moving at an appropriate pace. He is the best estate agent we have ever used. We cannot recommend him highly enough.
