28th Aug 2026 (17 days ago)I am really disappointed with this agency. I had seen negative reviews but I decided to give them a chance. I viewed a house with them three weeks ago. I wanted to apply, so I sent several emails until they finally sent me the form. After taking the time to fill it in and send it back, I called a few days later to ask for an update and I also sent emails.<br><br>I called them several times asking for news about my application and the house. They kept telling me that the manager was not there and that I should call again, and again, and again. I kept calling and calling. Today, I spoke to someone who checked my email address and told me they “did not receive my application”, which I do not believe at all. Then he told me to resend the application. I said: “What? Before I resend it, tell me if the house is still available.” He said no.<br><br>We waited for a response, and they never informed us about anything. I do not recommend this agency at all.<br><br>Zero star

1st Oct 2024 (1 year ago)From the first contact over the phone to the viewings and subsequent sale of the property to myself, Rachel and the whole team at F&C have been amazing to deal with and professionally excellent. Rachel was understanding of my position as a buyer and really relaid that the vendors which lead to the acceptance of offer that all parties are very happy with. It has been a great example of how to deal with both parties involved equally to maximise the outcome for both. Couldn’t recommend enough!
4th Aug 2026 (6 weeks ago)Great service from Robin Jessop Ltd. A special mention to Lauren in Bedale who was superb. It was a difficult sale as our associated house purchase was a little fraught. Thank you to everyone involved.<br>Jessops are not the cheapest agents, but you get what you pay for. And as I have had experience of four different local estate agents in the last three years, I would still go for Jessops in the future if we needed to.<br>Thank you to all involved

After deciding to sell my property, thinking, this is going to take months, especially as it was just before Christmas. I went to the office to confirm pictures where good to go live….10 minutes after leaving the office, I got a call from India, 2 viewings booked in for that afternoon!! 2 offers in by 17.00…AMAZING! Martin and his team kept me up to date and were so supportive. After formalities, my house sold within 3 weeks!! Everything went so smoothly and this could not have been possible without Parker Stags team, OUTSTANDING service. I can’t praise or thank them enough for everything they have done! 5*s all round. xx
3rd Sep 2026 (11 days ago)My partner and I have rented our flat in Harrogate with Linley & Simpson since 2017, and have now decided to relocate and move into our flat next year.<br><br>I wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone we've worked with over the years, and to thank Linley & Simpson for making our rental experience a really enjoyable one. The rental team have been truly amazing in quickly arranging viewings, and completing all the relevant paperwork, so that our flat was hardly ever empty.<br><br>The maintenance department have also been superb. The way the team have looked after our flat and taken care of all the various maintenance issues and problems we've had has been truly exemplary. It's not always easy when you're renting out your future home in another part of the country, but it's a lot easier when you have the support of a wonderful team you can trust.<br><br>It’s almost impossible to list all of the people who’ve helped and supported us over the years but Charlotte Thomson, Myah Dhanak, Katie Hardstaff, Zara Cunningham, Anthony Metcalfe, Nicola Walton, Lauran Taylor and Rhys Dandy are just a few of the key people who deserve a mention.<br><br>Thank you once again to everyone for supporting us over the last 9 years and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Linley & Simpson to anyone renting in Harrogate and the surrounding areas. They are the best team you could wish for!

Very disappointed and I definitely will not be going for any properties with them. Would not recommend dealing with them.

12th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)The ladies at Hunters did everything I could of asked for and more. Always attentive, always informative, treated you as a person and not just another sale to get commission on, listened to what I wanted and did everything in their power to achieve that. Sadly we sold at a difficult time when the market was quite depressed so viewings did not come easily. Hunters were pragmatic about the situation and doubled efforts to get a sale. I cannot thank them enough for their attitude and friendliness.
6th Oct 2025 (11 mo. ago)Belvoir don’t seem to be flexible in terms of their viewing windows in my opinion. From my experience today, they expect potential buyers to work around them . I requested a viewing at a flat on Lowgate, to basically be told their that their property agent didn’t want the hassle of accommodating me. The manager then proceeded to tell me that they had lots of other viewings at the property, almost insinuating that they can afford to pick and choose bits of business here and there. As a vendor, I definitely wouldn’t be happy with this company!s sales approach. He dealt with the eviction from start to finish and made the whole process so much easier than I expected.<br>He was always easy to get hold of, kept me updated throughout and was happy to answer any questions whenever I needed him. I never felt like I was chasing for updates or left wondering what was happening.<br>Mohammed was professional, friendly and really went the extra mile to get everything sorted. I’m really pleased with the service I received and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a letting agent.<br>Brilliant service from start to finish. Thanks again Mohammed!

She kept me informed throughout the whole process, was always professional, friendly, and happy to help with any questions I had.<br><br>Buying a house can be stressful, but Suzanne made everything as smooth as possible with her excellent communication and support. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and I always felt like I was in safe hands.<br><br>If I were selling a house in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to use Sanders Estates, and Suzanne would be my first choice.<br><br>Thank you for all your hard work—I really appreciate everything you did to help me buy my new home.

We then were put on to another agent who rewrote the text for the advert, put the advert in a more prominent place and then communicated really well with us and gave very sound advice as we progressed our sale.
