However a very huge thank you to an exceptional young man William Cande!! My goodness, this amazing lettings negotiator goes over and beyond always to attend to clients needs. William has secured all the tenants I have had in my property, excellent commutator, poliet, knows how to work under pressure and critical time scales as well as being a boss at what he does and always kept me updated with the tenant process. Very happy with the service received from Acorn (Harrison, Tina and James Moss) when selling my flat - definitely went above my expectations. They were quick to line up a number of viewings and did a great job, securing subsequent offers when the first pulled out. Also really helpful in pushing forward the process as quickly as possible, acting as point of liaison between my and the buyer’s solicitor / me and the buyer, and kept me updated (way more than my solicitor). Thank you!

We had a fairly poor start to our experience with Acorn (poor advice, one agent left our back door wide open all day after a viewing - on a ground floor flat in central London, and the sense that when said agent left the business they were extremely over capacity).
Having said that I would like to thank Harrison at the Camberwell branch for excellent service once had agreed a sale and for his support pushing it all through in a very timely manner.

Promote William ASAP! No praise i give to this young man will do him justice. William was ALWAYS available when any questions needed answering and if he missed my call I would get an immediate call back. He made the process smooth and stress free and went above and beyond to see to it that we were left satisfied even when there were challenges. He is a true credit to your company. Promote this guy now. You need him passing on his knowledge and customer service expertise to all your staff. What a legend!

I can't praise Harrison enough - and his Acorn colleagues - for the excellent service in selling our property. Harrison was extremely quick off the blocks in lining up high quality buyers for viewings and then second viewings, getting to know us, the house and the prospective buyers - and we subsequently received multiple offers above the asking price. His management of our chosen buyers through what proved to be at times a challenging process was exemplary, and he provided us with thoughtful and highly professional advice throughout. He also knew when to seek input from James as his manager. This is my fourth house sale, and he is by far the best agent I've met!

The agency was very good at bringing in viewings, we originally used a small independent agency and noticed a huge difference in viewing numbers. What I didn’t like was that they told me they could definitely sell my property for X amount when we signed up with them, then immediately wanted to reduce the price and told me ‘let’s be honest you were never going to get X your property is worth Y (lower amount). Very rude and dishonest people. Ultimately we sold it but felt very hard balled into accepting an offer when we felt perhaps we could’ve got more.

Harrison and James were exceptional from start to finish when selling our flat. We also instructed another agent who said they would sell the flat before Acorn, yet within a couple of weeks Harrison had many more viewings and an offer. In hindsight I would instruct Acorn on a sole agency basis as they are the best in the business and a far superior service to the other local agent that we instructed. Thank you both for your hard work!

Have just switched to Davide Letizia at Acorn after years of grim experiences with Haart. Haart got three weeks into finding a new tenant, required five emails to respond to one, and basically did nothing. Davide found a tenant within 24 hours and has been fantastically responsive and helpful throughout. I am more than happy to pay for competent and friendly service! Meanwhile, it has been several weeks since the old tenants left and I am yet to receive a check out report or any communication from Haart despite paying for these services. Landlords and tenants, my recommendation is clear!
Update: Three years in and i’ve just been treated appallingly. as have my tenants. So, the sales process is fine, the management of my property has been extremely disappointing. I am concluding there is no good property management service in london, and basic competence isn’t possible.
