STAY WELL CLEAR FROM RENTING FROM ACORN.
THEY ARE CORRUPT AND WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY and leave you in a flat with no heating or hot water for days on end when there told the boiler is no longer repairable they will leave you months with no boiler with a baby to freeze there staff don't care.
Staff are rude. They refuse to get problems sorted and only want your money.

As far as Estate Agents go, Shemron has by far been the most polite, helpful, transparent and honest. The communication has always been great with swift answers to emails. This review is a good couple of weeks late because I gave enough time for them to apologise, rearrange or attempt to remedy the situation.
I wouldn’t recommend.
Only contacted them because they partner Leaders Letting, my estate agent at the time and they recommended them.

As a first time buyer I was very green in the process of buying a place and found Kevin - the agent who I originally viewed another property with to be so down to earth and easy going. After a disappointing viewing at a different property, he recommended another that the agency had on their books and we arranged a viewing for the following week.
Kevin offered advice and answered questions about the property - getting answers from the vendor and telephoning me back within the hour to ensure the opportunity remained fresh and all parties kept up to speed. Kevin reached out to advise he was moving on to another role but I'm so pleased he helped me through the start of the process and managed my offer, a true gent.
The process continued and went without hitch. On the day of completion I picked up the keys from the Acorn office. Once I got to the property I had some concerns and sent an email to the agency that evening. First thing the next day, Richard the agency director was on the phone to me and genuinely wanted to help resolve each of them. Estate agents get a bad rep as they're "just looking for a sale", but Richard's attitude and energy couldn't have been further from the truth. My concerns were remedied and furthermore, knowing I can reach out to the agency to ask for dependable local trades people they can recommend only further emphasises what a solid service they offer for those who have bought locally.
All in all, a great experience for a somewhat nervous and bit clueless first time buyer. When it comes time to sell, I wouldn't hesitate in considering Acorn as the listing agent.

Cain is an excellent salesman - positive, friendly and confident. He put a lot of energy into selling our flat in Catford by drumming up interest, securing viewings and presenting the property very well to potential buyers. It means a lot to us as achieving a good sale helped us to upgrade to a house for our young family. Cain is well supported by Richard and Max and they make a fantastic sales team. Richard helped us to buy a house on a lovely road in the catchment area of our preferred school, his negotiation skills and experience helped us to secure that property over fierce competition. Acorn Catford were extremely helpful in facilitating both our sale and purchase. Richard Allen and Max Smith were extremely efficient in marketing our property and have impressive local knowledge. They got us a more than satisfactory price for the property we were selling, and we got very good value on the one we bought through Acorn too.
Our chain had a few complications, but Max and Richard were proactive in re-marketing our property and got the sale moving again within hours. Paige and Franco were also really helpful in this process. At what is a very busy period in their industry, they were always responsive and communication was spot on. I'd happily recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell.

Arikson Franco is a model estate agent. After months of looking for a property, he found the perfect one for us within a couple of weeks.
He went above and beyond at every corner from using his imitative to chase up solicitors, ordering quotes for us when there were issues and ensuring that everything we asked for was followed up on. It sounds like I’m making it up, but really these estate agents are brill with everyone else we interacted with being incredibly professional as well (incl. Max who was fab).

Franco found the right place for me before it even went on the market officially. He has been excellent all along as have all the other Acorn staff from other branches. I was initially selling through Purple Bricks and reluctant to pay the additional % but I honestly don't think my house would have sold. The difference it can make if you buy and sell through the same agent is enormous and Acorn is very good at keeping the chain together without being pushy. Thoroughly recommended.

We had a great experience buying through Acorn in Catford and in particular Franco who was the agent on our purchase. He was regularly in contact and responded quickly to any queries we had. He was particularly brilliant right near our exchange when we had lots of trouble (not with our seller but further up the chain). Sometimes not everything goes right the first time, or the second or third for that matter! In our case, we lost sales on our house a bunch of times (through no fault of Acorn or ourselves, it was just one of those things that happens to some). Our sale journey was long and arduous to say the least, but when things are challenging, you won't find a better, or more dedicated and determined team than Acorn Catford behind you! Acorn took the sale of our house personal and fought for us every step of the way; they remained optimistic even when I gave up all hope. Although always professional and communicative, in my experience Acorn went extra miles in lending support, encouragement and enthusiasm throughout. We had great 'gut instinct' when we first met the Manager Richard for the valuation, and the likes of Franco, Amy, Demi and so on have all followed through just as brilliantly. But the star of the show has always been Luke - what a faithful and hard working young man (a credit to Acorn indeed!) All in all the Catford Team have been brilliant from start to finish of my journey. Here's hoping no-one elses journey is as long as mine, but no matter the journey make sure you're on Team Acorn - they play to win!!

Occasionally when Franco was away I dealt with other staff members who were not quite as efficient but this was not a huge problem. I contacted acorn after being with a few estate agents in the area. Richard the manager came out to me and was very friendly and genuine. He didn't give me any false information and spent time answering my questions. He is a very kind and knowledgable guy.
I decided to put my flat up for sale with acorn and I was dealing with Franco a sales negotiator. I can not tell you how amazing he was. He contacted me on a regular basis keeping me informed of what they were going to do to get my flat sold, within the first weekend I had about 7 viewings with them.
The customer service was amazing, you can tell this company aren't just out for a sale -they honestly care! I never felt like I was being a pain in the basckside which I felt with other estate agents.

Sold two properties through Acorn Catford and have always found the selling process to be well managed and consistent from start to finish. Valuations were accurate and realistic rather than over inflated, viewings were always conducted with adequate notice and respect to the properties and any offers that were put forward to me were backed up with sufficient checks that the buyers were able to buy.
All in all I have been very happy the experience I have had with Acorn Catford and would not hesitate to recommend them as my agent of choice.

We were buying a property which was on the market with Acorn and Franco (works at Catford branch) was so helpful. Right from the first viewing through to completion Franco answered all of our questions...we had many! He always got back to us quickly when we emailed or left a telephone message.
We have always had bad experiences with other agents but not this time thanks to Franco! We will definitely be using Acorn next time!

My wife originally booked the valuation and we had three other agents in however I think Richard at Acorn Catford was by far the best as he gave a realistic value and had very good knowledge of the local area and it was nice that he was a local lad.
