I contacted acorn after being with a few estate agents in the area. Richard the manager came out to me and was very friendly and genuine. He didn't give me any false information and spent time answering my questions. He is a very kind and knowledgable guy. I decided to put my flat up for sale with acorn and I was dealing with Franco a sales negotiator. I can not tell you how amazing he was. He contacted me on a regular basis keeping me informed of what they were going to do to get my flat sold, within the first weekend I had about 7 viewings with them. The customer service was amazing, you can tell this company aren't just out for a sale -they honestly care! I never felt like I was being a pain in the basckside which I felt with other estate agents. I can honestly recommend catford acorn and I promise you won't be disappointed. I came into the Catford branch of Acorn as it is local to me. I Spoke with a very professional Neg Timur, we spoke briefly about how the property market is fluctuating and the best time to buy. He advised me of the best properties for me and my situation and it was very productive, I work in sales myself and he was not your 'typical estate agent' he was very honest and was a true pleasure to meet. I look forward to speaking with Tim soon and potentially moving in to a new house.

Excellent service from beginning to end. Mine wasn't the easiest house to sell and they updated me fresh ideas. Kept me informed throughout the whole process after I accepted an offer. I made a holiday claim for food poisoning a year ago as I was sick on holiday three years ago and was led to believe the claim was simple and offered zero risk to me. I even had an email from Nadeen stating under no circumstances would I pay anything. Months later I received a letter asking me to fill in a food diary for meals I had three years ago and I ignored it, as it is somewhat comical that you think I remember what I had for each meal of the day three years ago. The new solicitor dealing with my case has now threatened me that if I do not fill it in they will claim that I owe their company £618. I will quite happily seek legal advice as well as go to the media if they write me a threatening letter again. Nadeem at the time of my claim said in an email to me that under no circumstances would I have to pay anything. For them to threaten me now and ask me to make up information that no one would remember after three years and after their firm said I would pay nothing is a story the press would love to publish and would follow up well on other stories recently published about holiday claims three years after the incident.

Terrible, terrible experience. The lack of response when needed is staggering. Throughout the process the solicitor assigned to my husband has not contacted us when needed, has not called him back and (genuinely) never answered the phone when he has called. They have charged him for services they have not completed and seem completely uninterested in helping him when he has had a problem. In conveyancing terms - he has paid all his fees to TG Baynes and 2 months later he is getting penalty notices from the government saying he hasn't paid stamp duty (something he has paid TG Baynes to do for him!) My advice, if you want someone who cares, who is professional and conscientious do not use TG Baynes. Their unprofessional-ism has cost us money, continues to do so and is now landing us with penalty fees. I would choose any solicitors in the area except TG Baynes
