As soon as I talked to Mr Sugarman from Acorn I knew we were in good hands. he was determined to get us a fair and realistic price. He had good awareness of current market value and movement. We hit a few hiccups our end and our estate agent was extremely patient, he defiantly went the extra mile. Selling or buying a house can be very stressful but Mark Sugerman did his utmost to smooth things along. I can not rate his input highly enough , I think selling or buying he will be all in .

I don't often tend to leave reviews but I can only praise the Acorn Rainham office team. We decided to sell our house in November 2020 and first went with another estate agent but they barely manged to get a handful of viewings and no offers, also there was not much communication from them and did not feel they cared at all. After the 14 weeks was up we decided to cancel the contract and give Acorn a chance. They were running their 0% introductory offer so we felt we have nothing to lose. There was night and day, so much different how we were treated by them compared to the previous agent who would have received a hefty fee. Acorn started advertising straightaway and managed to get quite a few bookings for the next available weekend. We had an offer, who after a day decided to pull out but Mark, who is the nicest and most compassionate estate agent I have dealt with, reassured us that this is only a minor setback and they will find us another buyer soon. He was right and the week next we had 2 higher offers on the table. Unfortunately a month later that one we accepted fell through but it had nothing to do with Acorn, buyer got rejected by the bank. The developer for the house we reserved gave us 2 weeks to find a new buyer and Acorn was so incredibly helpful and supportive. We got the bad news on a Thursday and by Friday we were back on the market, 8 viewings on Saturday and 5 offers by Monday! They were amazing, Mark even went in on his day off to make sure we get the most viewings booked! This time around we got even better offers so we were over the moon! They kept us informed throughout, it wasn't an easy process but they were the most professional out of all the vendors we dealt with! I can not recommend them highly enough, and they did not treat us differently even though it was all free. I especially thank for Mark, Will, Josh and Leah for their hard work! If you need a reliable and supportive estate agent who you can trust give them a chance!

It's a shame to write this review about Acorn Estates Agents in Rainham as we generally had high hopes when our family decided to sell their property through the agent.
In total, the property was on the market for less than two weeks, as the poor service became apparent quite early on in the marketing stage.
There were people knocking on the door looking to view the property, who had said they had tried to contact the agent several times over a period of 3-4 days, but had no luck in booking a viewing.
From the period of giving the go ahead to Acorn to put the property on the market, to the advert actually go live online, was almost 10 days. During this time we saw multiple properties going up on the market with other agents, whilst there was very little communication from Acorn.
Needless to say, the photos that were taken were not of the highest quality and did not reflect the standard of the property particularly well either.
After several viewings, Acorn was chased for feedback, again with little response. Once someone finally did get to speak with someone in the office, the response that was given was "...I'm sorry, I have a lot of emails in my inbox...", not giving us a huge amount of hope that the property was being actively marketed with enthusiasm to get viewings etc.
Finally, once the family had decided to call it a day with Acorn and an email was sent to withdraw the property from the market, the response from the ESTATE AGENCY & NEW HOMES MANAGER (!) was "I have seen to the below" (our email instruction to remove the property from the market). There was no sign off of the email, no well wishes for the future and this left a very bitter taste in the mouth.
Needless to say, the property has now been put on the market by an alternative local agent, who has been in constant contact, with numerous viewings already and offers on the table (all within the space of 2 weeks).
I would strongly suggest that you consider other agents in the area over Acorn, as the lack of communication, poor service and lack of professionalism throughout the office (most notably the Estate Agency & New Homes Manager), leaves much to be desired.
P.S. We did look at the other reviews before going ahead with Acorn, but it is only now that when looking at the "5 Star" reviews, they have all been posted in a very small period of time....
