Their incompetence genuinely knows no bounds. I moved out of a property nearly a year ago and I'm still getting grief from these lot for stuff that has absolutely nothing to do with me - all the problems have been of Barnard Marcus' making. Avoid at all costs.

We worked with Maliha Hayat when moving into out new flat and couldn't of asked for a better letting agent. The process was smooth, efficient and personable. All our requests were listened to and taken on board, and their advice was incredibly helpful.

I'm not surprised to find other tanents have left negative comments about the property management. we also had our worst experience we ever had when we had things to fix in the flat. Basically when we had something broken in the flat, we never had anyone who would follow up the issues in a reasonable timely manner. It was very painful to log tickets, call the property management, and send numerous emails to chase every time. we had the old boiler in the flat stop working in December last year and we were left to live without hot water for two entire winter months! we did everything we can to cooperate, we have email evidences that we were left unanswered for days without progress to resolve the problem. we had to withhold our rent to finally get the boiler fixed in February. so eventually we decided to exercise the break clause and move out earlier, and then it came to the nightmare of getting our deposit back. It took more than 3 months to finally get them to release our deposit, again numerous calls and emails in the process. I don't know whether they pass our request onto the landlord in a reasonable time frame or the landlord just don't reply the agent, but for quite a few times only when I had to call them, they would reply that they are waiting on the landlord to reply, even after they have promised to action reasonably. You can imagine the frustrations!!

Very unprofessional. Booked a valuation of our house with them 2 days ago and got a call 45 minutes before the appointment to say the branch manager was not coming. The reason was because we had had Covid previously. We had had Covid 7 weeks ago and have all tested negative several times since. The idiot branch manager is actually far safer coming to our house as we all have had confirmed negative recent tests and antibodies against Covid, so if that confers any immunity, he's less at risk of catching it. His attitude on the phone was rude and dismissive and there was no apology for messing us around. We would never use them going forward.

Katie is an absolute pleasure to work with, she was attentive, professional but most of all friendly. She shows a level of care that makes her stand out across all the other estate agents I have come across.

I have been working with the Barnard Marcus (Shepards Bush), team led by Mark Coden, for almost 6 months already and I am extremely impressed and happy with the service and effort received. Mark and his team, particularly Gareth Trott, are extremely proactive, responsive, adaptable and hard working. They have marketed my property since the beginning of the year and have done an amazing job in very difficult markets and circumstances.
