We went with Connells when buying our house and Abigail who works here is our mortgage broker. All of the staff there are so polite and helpful including Abigail who is extremely understanding and supportive. We weren't sure that going with a mortgage broker was the right decision, but it most certainly was and we are so over the moon with the response times and treatment we have recieved. All staff are happy to help when they can anyway, and they are all very informative and polite.
I would 100% recommend Connells to anyone looking at buying or even selling a house!

Hannah Thompson was the perfect viewing agent. She gave us plenty of time to view the property with patience and good humour. Hannah answered our questions, anything she didn't know at the time she found out and got back to us.
We were in a multiple bidding situation and Hannah was very supportive and encouraging during that process.

After needing to find a new property to rent, on a fair hurry, it was a delight to find Ben, and Connells in general. The listing on Rightmove was accurate, the photos were up to date, and the whole team were incredibly accommodating when it came to arranging a viewing, and dealing with any queries that came up. Nothing was too much trouble… phone calls were returned as promised, emails sent when they said they would be, and we were kept up to date with the whole process. As tenancy arrangements had changed significantly wince we last took out a tenancy agreement (we’d been in the previous property for 6yr), we weren’t as “up to scratch” as we could’ve been, but the explanations from Ben and Daniel were top notch. We were treated with courtesy and respect throughout, and a genuine empathy from all the staff (including those at the Rushden beach when we had to take documents there.)
They must have gone the extra mile and struck a chord with our children too - as Ben was even treated to a hug from my eldest, along with a “thank you for finding us the best home!” as we signed for it! And hugs from him are as rare as rocking horse poop!
Honestly, amazing to deal with, and would definitely recommend them

We were impressed by the customer service at Connells Kettering and their understanding of the realities of putting our house up for sale while working from home and having a young child. They suggested having open days where viewings were booked together and this made such a difference. We had complexities in our move due to the different factors involved in our sale and purchase, and some difficult solicitors.
We initially had 3 different staff members dealing with our sale as some staff were leaving during our process which meant it kept getting handed onto the next.
We were given Chelsea as our third agent, who was still relatively new at the time. However Chelsea picked it all up straight away and got stuck in.
Chelsea has assisted with the difficult solicitors our buyers had chosen and she kept us informed the entire way.
She was always friendly, patient and polite…which given how many times we called (due to the buyers solicitor) we wouldn’t have been surprised if she did get frustrated, but she never did!
Buying/selling can be stressful at the best of times but we were grateful and happy with how much Chelsea has helped move things forward and kept us informed. I think sometimes it is hard to find an honest estate agent as our previous experiences with other places were being told lots of lies, but we have always had honesty from Chelsea which we really have appreciated.

We were told that we were the preferred tenants by an agent of Connells after driving 3 hours to view a property. We even discussed when we would come back with required documents. The agent promised to phone us back the next day - we rang twice and were fobbed off, Only to find out later that others had come in and raised their offer and we were not informed - dishonest and not representing their landlords best interest. IF we had been told we would have raised our offer.

We have let a property through Connells for a number of years. The previous tenants gave notice to leave and Connells immediately re advertised the property for rent. Within days there were a number of people interested, The communications has been excellent and the house was re let just over two weeks later.
The staff in the rentals section at Kettering are very professional. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately there is not a zero star option, as I think it would be fitting for the awful experiences I have had of a landlord of many years, just ending now with Connells having ‘lost’ the inventory list, as part of the service I pay well over the odds for each month.
Jade at the Kettering office rarely replies to emails until it’s too late and you have chased the matter yourself.
If you’re a landlord, do yourself and your tenants a favour and go elsewhere.

Connells really helped us through a very long moving process which was no fault of theirs. When selling our house, we were very impressed with the photographs, marketing and the advice and support from Jack and Hannah to get us sold. Craig was amazing in keeping our buyer informed and engaged throughout a further 6 months of waiting for the chain to be completed which was a big relief. What a fabulous experience from start to finish. I have dealt mainly with Craig and Hannah, but I know other members of the team have also been involved in my transaction behind the scenes so my thanks also extend to them. From the outset I could tell it was a company I wanted to use - they were straight talking and didn't "fluff anything up" so to speak. I knew exactly what was what. House particulars were drawn up in a timely manner and before I knew it my property was live on the open market. I had many viewings, and I cannot stress enough how passionate Craig and Hannah were about my property - they really did sell it. Once a buyer was confirmed they kept in touch with me at regular intervals until the transaction went through. A great team there at Connells Kettering ... they come very highly recommended.

Currently at a critical point of selling my house through connells Kettering, we were due to exchange today only to be told that the person dealing with my sale is no longer with connells. Every time I call either no one answers the phone or you get a girl in lettings that just she doesn't do that and I will get someone to give you a call back, but no surprise they never do. From the very beginning it has been a nightmare, they forgot my viewing and didnt turn up so I showed the lady round who put the offer in on my house and since then there must have been six people deal with my house sale, when I eventually get through. Ive been left feeling very uneasy as we are so close and there seems to be no one in the business that knows whats going on and have no support to chase down the chain! Avoid at all costs!

I sold through Connells Kettering Branch last year. I have to say it was the most stressful selling experience I have every had. Nothing but poor communication and speculation on when I would sell. I would say on certain occassions I was lied to and I have written evidence to back up that statement. I had to escalate my sale to the Area Director and in the end I refused to communicate with the branch as the relationship had broken down as I didn't believe anything I was told. If it hadn't been for my excellent Connells financial advisor (not from the Kettering branch) stepping in I believe I would not have moved.
Save yourself a lot of stress and go somewhere else. I will never use Connells again. Only giving a 1 star as I can't give any less.

Have to say Kasia who is the lettings manager there is absolutely fantastic. Shes helpful, supportive and was fabulous in finding us a tenant. When ever I called with a issue she was able to solve it and went beyond the call of duty, even calling on weekends and early evenings to make sure all was ok and to let me know how viewings went with the property. I have absolute no hesitation in recommending her and will use her and the agency again with other properties.

Throughout my time in working with Paresh, I found him to be extremely helpful in advising and processing the mortgage application. Have used many different estate agents now and Connells are by far the best. I had my house up for sale for 8 weeks with another agent, met Russell who then explained what was wrong.

Posted the keys on the Thursday,

We were struggling to sell a flat with other estate agents for months and months. Had given up but happened to find a house we loved with Connells. We explained that we had tried to sell our flat in the past but had failed. Connells introduced a potential buyer to my property, which he brought to let out, and as a result we were able to purchase the home we loved! Russell and Anele were particularly helpful in arranging the sale/purchase and Russell was able to chase solicitors for us towards the exchange date. Very, very happy with the service we were given at Connells.
