I worked with the head of Sales Tommy Moore and Xavier Chambel. They got our property sale through in Fulham in an expedient manner at the price we wanted. We are very happy with the outcome. There were some blips in the middle but we got through from both sides with the desired outcome and Tommy and Xavier both did a great job in communicating /negotiating for the price we wanted and we felt the property should sell for.

I contacted Foxtons regarding a flat in Fulham that had unfortunately been let, the really helpful, professional agent, Nicholas Christensen phoned me back the next day with details of a property that had just been made available. I signed up there and then and Nicholas could not have been more helpful, he made a potentially complicated tenancy with multiple tenants seamless, clearly explaining everything that needed to be done and kept us all informed from initial application to moving in day. I could not be happier with the service provided by Foxtons, and in particular Nicholas, especially as we are over 100 miles away from the office. Worst attitude I’ve ever encountered in my flat search with Nicholas. Make sure you don’t show the slightest bit of disinterest, otherwise you’ll get your phone call cut straightaway out of nowhere! How rude!
It’s more like a job phone interview that I should be pleasing the other end of the call. Guess that’s the Foxtons experience???????????

I cannot recommend Alex from Foxtons enough! After months of frustrating flat hunting, Alex came through and found the perfect place for me and my cat in no time. Successfully sold my flat through George and his Foxtons Fulham Broadway Sales team colleagues. Superb at getting a huge quantity of viewings in through the doors quickly. The online account they set up is great for tracking viewings, feedback and offers at your convenience. George’s advice was measured, practical and realistic - both when setting an asking price and when negotiating offers. Would definitely recommend.

Avoid at ALL COSTS to rent through this agency.
Signing a contract with them is the worst possible decision we ever took. Manipulating you from the beginning to the end, under a friendly approach at first, always unclear, they work as well with landlords who are devoting their life to stealing your money and litteraly try to ruin your life. If this agency tries to make you sign a contract with more than 6 months break clause, never accept that no matter the situation or the hurry you are in. If it’s the case, they are just manipulating you and you’ll unlikely see the end of it.
A year later we are still receiving threatening messages from landlord for things that never happened, after landlord (still unknown to this day) stole us an incredible amount of money, causing us huge stress impacting our mental health.
So yes you may have luck and find a regular landlord and maybe it will be fine. But if it’s not the case the agency will never defend you and will always take the side of the landlord, also if they’re litteraly neglecting you or trying to scam you, you’ll be alone fighting against people you never met because they hide behind other management agencies.
I would do everything to erase the moment I signed a contract with those people, don’t do the same mistake.

Had a great experience with Alex Wojtkiewicz from Fulham Broadway office. In a 24 hour window, we got an incredible flat (far better than any of us had hoped to find as our first flat!) and he was incredibly responsive throughout the entire process, taking time out of hours to ensure we were kept in the loop with all info, responding to all of our queries and making sure we were happy along the way.
He was super transparent and honest about the letting process and made sure we had all the information we needed to find the right place for us. Every viewing I did with Alex was enjoyable and he genuinely listened to us and cared about what we wanted in a flat, and helped us to secure an amazing place. Would strongly recommend speaking to Alex, and will definitely come back to him if I move in the future!

I’m a disabled ex soldier and they seemed polite and courteous at first and I thought oh maybe the one star reviews were just a few disgruntled people. Edward seemed very polite and helpful and proficient.
He said off on leave for a week and that a colleague would get involved the manager Alex or his colleague said it was passed to him what followed was a number of emails with place I live to which they wouldn’t tell me what was said. They have had me in bits today , when I rang at 9am Alex seemed totally confused by the most basic of statements I was making yes I have a little bit of a Geordie accent.
I was then made to feel stupid for this and for my disability, he got my name from file but said he knew nothing else then his colleagues said he was on calls all day then viewings. Was promised at least three times over I would get and an update and not be kept on the dark. They have cost me a fortune and also made me look like an idiot or dishonest.
I would not recommend anyone be it landlords or renters or buyers or sellers avoid this agency.
Made me feel worthless and have had my anxiety through roof today
I would never ever give this estate agents the time of day again.
I have been nothing but courteous and polite to this agency even faced with all the above
And with bad health for the last few days and pains
Which they have aggravated and made worse
0900 til 1700 and not a sensible or reasonable response on what has happened or going on
And a couple of male colleagues not knowing what was going on and one told to hang up on me
And others told everyone too busy yet as another review said can hear them all socializing in the background

This company is a joke Phoebe the agent has been nothing but horrible to deal with we paid for a deposit to zero deposit last May and she has mentioned we don’t qualify for the property so we did not move to the property and she has still yet to contact zero deposit after multiple messages and emails from me and zero deposit. We tried tens of times to contact and the receptionist tells me she is busy and we’ll contact you later that day and still nothing we have be robbed for around 700 pounds. Absolute joke of a company and thieves please save your self the hassle if you looking to rent but or sell your property with them they will pass you around and ignore you. I will be charging back the payment as it’s been 11 months. Again please DO NOT WORK WITH THIEVING SCAMMING COMPANY!

They helped me find a couple of potentially buyers and secured an asking price offer. And they helped navigate some potentially thorny issues including a termination of an existing lease (to the satisfaction of the tenant and me as a landlord). Absolutely useless, the landlord did more than them.
They do nothing except for photographing every small damage to try to keep your deposit. Any maintenance issue reported is passed to the landlord and ignored. I emailed and called the property manager to fix an urgent issue and the answer was to put the evidence online… It was already put it online weeks ago and it was ignored.

The initial experience so far is very positive and our agent (Alex W) is always responsive and replies to our questions/requests promptly. The tenancy tracker app allows you to raise issues to the property manager and they take care of any problems you might face when entering the new property (property conditions, communication with landlord, etc). Completely recommended if you are looking for a place to live in London!

My experience with Foxtons Fulham Broadway has been deeply troubling, particularly concerning the safety and security of the property I rented through them. Before moving in, I expressed significant concerns about the security of the property’s keys. I was reassured by someone from central Foxtons that this issue would be addressed immediately, as they emphasized that “safety is paramount.” Unfortunately, this assurance turned out to be empty, as a month into my tenancy, nothing has been done, leaving me feeling extremely unsafe.
The property itself has several safety oversights, including entrance doors that do not comply with fire safety regulations because they fail to self-close properly. This concern was highlighted to me in an off-hand manner by the letting agent saying I can make copies of the keys, suggesting a casual approach to what should be critical safety measures. There is no knowing who else has these keys!
I was further disheartened by the inconsistent information provided by Foxtons staff regarding the possibility of changing the locks for enhanced security. Initially, there was a suggestion that the locks could be changed if I covered half the cost, but this option was quickly dismissed by a divisional manager, showing a lack of coherent policy or genuine concern for tenant security.
Moreover, the physical condition of the door’s night latch, which is crucial for security, is inadequate—failing to close properly and lacking a functional handle, which adds unnecessary difficulty to securing my temporary home.
Foxtons Fulham Broadway’s disregard for these significant safety and security concerns has left me questioning their commitment to tenant welfare. The difference between the assurances of safety I received before moving in and the reality of my living situation is stark and disappointing. For a company that claims to prioritize tenant safety, their actions, or lack thereof, speak volumes. This experience has underscored the importance of not only vetting properties but also the integrity and professionalism of the letting agency managing them.

Abhorrent experience - avoid renting with them at all costs. The contract is literally worthless as a tenant, landlord is allowed to flout this with no consequences. We've since taken a property with another agent and it was seamless. No property is worth the unnecessary stress Foxtons caused, and continues to cause us after moving out.
We arrived to a filthy property (the inventory specified 'professionally cleaned' despite showing images containing extensive mess, including a pile of dirt) and no heating in the bedroom. How can you omit lack of heating from the information when marketing the property? Our 'property manager' didn't answer then mysteriously left the next day.
We were then passed from employee to employee and no one would respond to our queries. This went on for weeks. We only got a response when cc'ing senior management at Foxtons (would recommend).
In one of my many visits to the branch trying to get answers, an employee said "I'm sorry - I feel you've been sold a dream". Very peculiar choice of words from the agent doing the selling....
Throughout the tenancy we were left without hot water for 2.5 weeks - which is both illegal and against contract. Alex Fleet ignored correspondence on this for 5 weeks and then informed us they couldn't investigate.
The landlord has then proceeded to withhold the entire deposit indefinitely as he is out of the country (despite having access to extensive check-in and check-out inventory reports). Another law and contract violation that Alex Fleet said nothing could be done about.
We paid our deposit up front, we never missed a days rent and we had 0 complaints.
We were made to feel like a nuisance for requesting a clean property on arrival, heating in the bedroom, hot water and then our deposit back....

I had a quite disappointing experience with Foxtons in Fulham Broadway when I engaged them to sell a property. They lost the keys to my property and never bothered to respond when I asked them to cover the cost of a new set. Several times they crossed communications amongst each other internally, sending at times conflicting messages - which is not a huge problem per se but does not give much confidence in their internal coordination. Most concerning was that the estate agent explicitly agreed to certain sale conditions to close the sale only to say they were not acceptable in UK real estate at the very last minute (which he had failed to mention in the prior 2 months of negotiations). While the sale was successfully concluded, I would not recommend Foxtons - and if you have no other choice, please do pay extra attention and carefully document your exchanges.

I tried to arrange a viewing for the property on sale, reached out to George Munton, what a time waster! During our phone call we agreed on 6pm on Monday, after a few hours after the phone call he had sent me a confirmation email with the different time saying that the viewing isn’t something he would benefit from. I feel sorry for the seller who has to deal with that kind of agents. I don’t know what they promised to the seller, but they are really bad in doing this job. I wouldn’t recommend them, try to avoid this agency and personally George Munton in any case.

Dealing with Foxton in order to buy an investment property in the UK was one of the worst experiences I have ever had.
Lying, wasting time, and money are usually common practices for this company.
After we got our offer accepted through foxton fulham and starting the legal process, they asked me to pay more money because the vendor received a higher offer.
When I rejected that, the property went back to the market like nothing had happened. So, there was no higher offer. For sure, I lost some of the legal fees and my time. Very unprofessional.
Lucky enough, I was able to get mine through a different agent just before deciding to invest in a different country.

I had help from Eric Curless in buying my flat in Fulham. Eric is one of those sales negotiators that is in it for the long run. He doesn't treat you just as another deal sealed. He keeps in touch and updates on the progress regularly and also helps out where he can to make the process go as well as possible. He goes to lengths making sure you're happy with the purchase. That means leaning in on things that might not affect the purchase in an obvious way but might be very important for you as the purchaser to feel comfortable with your purchase. The office manager also follows up and is receptive for feedback.

Don’t waste your time with them if you want details on an apartment they have advertised to rent. I telephoned early morning 19/01/2023 with a serious urgent enquiry . Foxttons phone was picked up by Ms Seraphora who was very polite and professional indeed.
However I could hear lots of loud background noise of laughter and joking between team members of many people as it’s obviously an open office.
Receptionist said no one was available to take my enquiry. Seemed strange as they were still all laughing and joking about their personal issues in the background !
It was a specific advertised property I was interested in in W14 so there should have been no holdups. I left details of property and my personal details with several telephone contact numbers and asked if someone could call back that morning as it was an urgent, simple and serous enquiry about a specific apartment However no one bothered to call me back at all or contact me in any way .
Their loss !!!!. I rang another local agent who was very prompt and professional and interestingly had a similar property for rent close by . I have started serious negotiations with the second agent and hope to tie up a deal today . So Foxtons , if you can’t be bothered to return calls don’t worry. Moral of the experience is if you phone up and the background noise is so intense with people nattering about their personal lives then they are probably overpaid and underworked. Good luck Foxtons you missed this one !

The less said the better. If you are a landlord, please do your checks on not just the Foxtons agent but also the information they provide you. Coz they may say a family of 5 and get a fleet of 7 or even 9 into your house. You may also get prepared to be cheated on maintenance bills for jobs that may be unauthorised and perhaps would nt even be genuine and send you charges and also damage your property further with no manager to oversee even though they charge you a hefty management fee. And a whole lot of very well mannered girls in their Chiswick office who will step in and then just buy time and then declare that it’s beyond the time permissible to go over any claims and go all out to cover up their internal mess. If you are an oversees landlord, then surely look at other boutique agents. Foxtons will only bring you disappointment.

AVOID FOXTONS FULHAM BROADWAY FOR RENTALS!
We just relocated back to London from Singapore, and opted to arrange a short-term let through Foxton’s whilst we are house hunting & waiting for shipping to arrive. We had 2 requirements 1) a well-furnished apartment so we could comfortably settle in 2) good Wi-Fi so we could work from home.
On move in day we open the door and see the only furnishings in the flat are a bed, a sofa, TV cabinet (no TV), table and chairs, and white goods. A very different set-up to the pictures they shared. No kettle, no toaster, no kitchenware (not even so much as a plastic cup), no iron, no bedding, no sheets, no towels, no TV, no vacuum cleaner etc. We had agreed that only 1 bed would be provided for a 2 bedroom flat, but reiterated that rest of the flat must be fully furnished. The frustrating point is that we actually opted to go with Foxton’s because their website states ‘Bring your suitcase and we'll provide the rest’, ‘travel light - all you need to purchase are the consumables’ and ‘fully furnished to a high standard’. Incredibly misleading/inaccurate claims on their website, versus the reality. We reached out to the estate agent who said ‘Wilkos in Fulham Broadway is cheap – you’ll need to purchase those things at some stage for your future house, so I don’t really see the issue’. We have full furnishings being shipped, and this incredibly arrogant response shows a massive disconnect between Foxton’s and the current economic climate. After speaking to a contact at head office, we finally had a few key items dropped off.
Secondly, Wi-Fi, the other key requirement we requested – doesn’t work. We made it clear we needed Wi-Fi for work from home commitments, we both work with global teams. Given that it doesn’t work, I have an hour commute to my office for early morning APAC calls, and late night US calls.
We are now half way through the tenancy, and the communication continues to range from painful to bewildering. One example being that Foxton’s has finally arranged for a vacuum to be sent by the landlord, and we receive a message saying ‘your landlord would like to take a quick look around when he drops the vacuum cleaner off, I hope that’s ok’. Same day request, when we are out of the flat, for no apparent reason. As a landlord myself I find this an utterly bewildering request. We aren’t getting much change out of 5K for a 30 day stay, and Foxton’s thinks that doesn’t give us the right to our own space, and the landlord is free to drop in when he fancies? The staff we have spoken to at Fulham Broadway Foxtons have been consistently unhelpful and unpleasant to deal with. I’ve requested this is escalated, and received no update – in fact the estate agent we raised the escalation to seemed really annoyed at the suggestion of this. If anyone from Foxton’s wants to reach out for the names of the people we have been dealing with, feel free to. Your staff are in serious need of training.
I’m now wiping my hands of the situation, and look forward to moving out in a week and a half and never communicating with the company again.
Funnily enough upon sharing this with friends, family etc., the response has been consistent. Foxtons is notoriously overpriced & really poor value. PLENTY of other options elsewhere, I will never use their services again, and would dissuade anyone else from doing so too.

An absolutely horrendous experience that has left us in shock on multiple fronts. Our property was managed by Foxtons who violated our lease multiple times by giving property tours without our permission (we walked into our rental to find tours on more than one occasion). They’ve been nothing but rude having left me in tears after our conversation. I’ve never encountered such unprofessional, rude, or cruel services. Absolutely disregard to landlords. I used Foxtons twice within 10 years, and always say it’s last time. Does not properly explain the fees and withhold extra amount from rent tenant pay. Promised me a credit towards fees, but never paid it in full after one year. Cheating on VAT. There is no one to complain to, they sending you around the circle. Original person who I was dealing with stop unswerving the calls as soon as I signed a contract and couldn’t find a time during one year to discuss situation with me. Their responses via emails doesn’t not address issues and they trying to show like they don’t understand my instructions. They just do what they want with your property and tenancy, regardless what you telling them. Really, this is the worst and ironically most expensive agency I was dealing with in 15 years.

We have used them twice now and never again. Late and incorrect payments, house left uncleaned with various elements broken, consistently chasing to have these issues rectified with no responses. The worst property management service in London. Our washing machine hasn't been working for 3 months. We have had 4 different managers and all we hear is that they will get back to us. We have been chasing them for 3 months and all we hear is that they aren't available and that we should call again later. All they need to do is to follow up with the warranty company and ask why the parts haven't been delivered. It doesn't take more than 10 minutes to make that phone call but it seems like they aren't even willing to spend that time. I can't imagine why anyone would want them to manage their property. This is just one of many issues that we have had with Foxtons.

After a simple enquiry with a female member of staff, it is clear customer service is not a priority of theirs. She was not listening to me and then acted annoyed at me when she had misheard me. She insisted I was a student; then that I was a child. I would avoid using these as it’s clear from the real reviews and not the ones written by their friends that they do not care at all about lettings. Listen next time, it’s part of your job. She was also rude about our budget which is more than enough with other estate agents. Stuck up and rude.

My flatmates and I experienced a NIGHTMARE and renting a property managed by Foxton almost DESTROYED MY PROFESSIONAL CAREER.
It started by a lot of PRESSURE to sign as fast as possible the contract after a quick visit of the property. The property was at this time, rented, so of course, as a matter of respect we didn’t touch and checked furnitures.
Then, the first day we moved in, we discovered that our BED WAS BROKEN, our WINDOWS WERE NOT CLOSING AT ALL, our bath and our toilets were LEAKING, we had several MICE in our kitchen, a BOILER LEAK, our OVEN WAS DANGEROUS, OVERPRICED BILLS due to LACK OF INSULATION (16°C max during winter), and finally BLACK MOLD in my bedroom floor and our living room ceiling. We could see our bathroom tiles through the ceiling lights of the floor underneath. We reported those issues since day 1, NOTHING HAVE BEEN SOLVED 21 months later (Except the bed, 18 months later).
We've been accused to have a fly infestation, to drive ?drones? within the property, to not check our alarms ??? Shocked by those allegations, we had to make a 20 pages report by ourself to the agency and our landlady to show the amount of troubles we had and who we really were, as not even one Foxton's agent did the job (isn't it supposed to be one of their tasks ?)
Black mold + no insulation is the worse thing that can happen for someone who has preexisting allergies and asthma. Especially when you are stuck at home during lockdown. It increased my disease til the very moment my ears and nose were completely blocked. « Severe nasal congestion » can lead to life threatening issues. I suffered asthma crisis every nights. I experience since ear loss, and tinnitus. I’m a sound engineer. My flatmate had oversized eczema blotches on her body, even in her face sometimes. We spent 1000 pounds in medical appointment yet, a lot of time, and my recovery will be very long.
No discount on the rent. A lot of visits planned to check the issues and « estimate reparation costs » but a very few to actually solve definitely any problem. A lot of cancelled visits (I took several day off and being told several times that the repairs have been rescheduled). The last time I reported a leak in one of my toilets, they just cut the water and never came back. It seems like there is no communication between Foxton's and our landlady who seems to suffer as well because of their lack of professionalism. Her flat is damaged and will need lots of expense, thanks to Foxton.
I was shielded. Due to my health condition, i'm extremely vulnerable to covid and forced to stay in this flat, that is slowly killing me despite my young age. And still i have been harassed to allow more and more visits but nothing have been fixed.
We asked to leave asap, before the end of our tenancy regarding those serious issues. We’ve been ignored til we experienced an inappropriate blackmail « you will have good references if you leave at the end of your tenancy in three months, otherwise I’ll give you bad references » by call, denied by email of course. Foxton held our references and tried to force us to stay. After our claims to leave asap, we received emails asking if we wanted to renew our contracts (despite the fact our landlady wanted to sell), asking if we could allow futur tenants visits (renting again such property ? really ?) etc… I spent far too much time reminding them the situation via calls and emails.
Foxton’s owe us : Part of our monthly rent for a flat that has never worth the price paid, overpriced bills due to lack of insulation, health appointments and treatments, our time, our energy and our mental health.
No, I’m honestly not dramatising the situation. It is actually even worse than you think. The way they manage the property, treats you, ignore you or harass you. And it can happen to you as well. So make the right decision. Go in an agency that treat tenants as real customers, fairly, with respect and empathy, in a human way. It shouldn't be a matter of money only, but it surely is for Foxton's.

Previously would have given half a star. Having had a tedious and painful experience with Foxtons for several weeks, their new lettings manager Alex started at just the right time. He actually seemed to care about our situation and was extremely helpful and responsive; actually proactively chasing and resolving the issue for us rather than me having to constantly call but getting no response as had been the case for weeks before he started. Dont rent with foxtons as a tenant. I have had ongoing hot water issues since December 2020. Its been nearly 3 months and the issue isn't resolved. Not to mention the other various issues with have the flat that again we're reported in December and are yet to be solved. I have called several property managers when I cant reach the one assigned to me, to only be told they'll pass on my message or look into it. Yet I dont hear back. I finally caved in after the calls and email and asked to speak to a manager on a Monday. I was told they're both in a meeting but my details have been taken and I will be called back. Thursday comes, still nothing, I again chase and ask to speak to a manager. "Sorry they're not available right now, they might be having lunch please try again this afternoon." Call again later in the day "Sorry still not available. I can give you an email?" Probably the worst property management service in London. I have genuinely had issues solved faster with dodgy landlords than foxtons, dont bother.

I've had the fortune (or misfortune?) of having far too much experience with estate agents through viewings (too many to count) and offers (3 - current one is progressing but the other two fell through) and I just wanted to write a review to thank Fleur Marston for her wonderful support so far.
From the very beginning Fleur has been patient, supportive and knowledgeable and has helped me feel extremely reassured throughout the process. My impression of the flat, the seller and Foxtons has been shaped by her work and this makes a huge difference from my previous purchase-to-be (different agency) where I genuinely disliked the process and did not want the agent to benefit in the slightest from the purchase. Fleur has been incredibly responsive (well past required hours) on emails and calls and has helped coordinate the efforts to make this purchase happen. Not once have I felt that my concerns were inconsequential or my knowledge was belittled and I'm very appreciative of this as a first time buyer.
Given the tight timelines and overall stress of purchasing a property I can't thank Fleur enough in making this a smooth experience.

DO NOT RENT YOUR PROPERTIES FROM THIS BRANCH OF FOXTONS.
I would even go as far to say not to rent from any foxtons as my/my housemates have experienced. First it would be the no access to central heating in the 1.5 year tenancy. Not one ounce of sympathy from the staff that my housemates and I would be sitting in the flat FREEZING in the months of winter. We complained about this for the whole duration of the tenancy and this was NOT fixed or resolved even by the end. What kind of people let their tenants freeze with no heating. It isnt even humane. Then when it couldnt get any worse, when we moved out, they are now trying to charge us £150+ to fix a crack in the fridge drawer. LOL. its honestly a joke. We talked to multiple staff from this branch and not one of them cared about their tenants - only the ££. DO NOT GO HERE.

Rented a property from Foxtons for 2 years.
Foxtons charged each of us an admin £250 fee at the beginning of the tenancy.
At end of tenancy they haven’t returned our deposit, even though we have received confirmation from landlord of no deductions has been issued. (under law the deposit must be returned within 10 days)
It’s been more than a month and no sign of money to be returned.
I have contacted several times Tim from property management who doesn’t bother to respond to my emails and phone calls.
I hope Foxtons will improve their customer approach and get back to us about our money ASAP!!!?

Liars and theives, they get you into somewhere and then ignore you. We were told as renters that we were not the true clients and that our landlord was - that wasn’t the case when you were trying to get us in somewhere and i’m sure it wasn’t when you got the commission fee. In particular staff members Samyul, Stephanie and Martin have to be the 3 rudest people I have ever come across and are about as much use as an ashtray on a mororbike. I would advise to go with ANYONE else - learn from my mistakes!

One of the many worst experiences I have ever had with Foxtons, will never be using them again. Completely unprofessional, non responsive and absolutely useless to say the least.
Closing our gas , electric and water suppliers while we are still living at the property, causing a lot of time and issues on our part.
Many issues throughout our stay at the property, maintenance needed to be done on the flat, 3 weeks to even get a response to say they might deal with it soon. Extremely lazy staff, cannot even bother to ring you and respond to an email personally, just an automated response which makes no sense.
Absolutely shocking quality from “#1 letting agency in London” give me break honestly. Quality of staff has gone down by 80% in the past 2 years. Will never be using them again.

Living in a property that is managed by foxtons has been a nightmare when it comes to correspondence and maintenance. Maintenance issues, like leaks and associated structural damage should not take 6 months to resolve. You are bounced around from person to person, noone replies to emails (you have to call in to get a response from anyone), noone seems to follow up with the account's reported issues. If I want an update, I have to call in and chase - what's wrong with a simple email to keep us updated? We've had +7 contractors called out to look at the damages over the last 6 months and none to fix them, while they've been been getting steadily worse. If I were the landlord I'd be astounded by the poor management of my property - who knows how much money these damages will cost to fix, when it could have been completed for far cheaper back at the initial time of reporting.

Alex Cima from Foxtons Fulham Broadway took us round for viewings and helped us to secure a flat that we love, both for the location and criteria we had in mind. We are now settled and have appreciated his professionalism and help during the initial stage through to securing a deal and proceeding with the tenancy. Overall Foxtons offer a smooth service and after approaching them on a colleague's advice, I would also recommend their services for others looking to rent privately in London. Alex was an enthusiastic agent who was clearly passionate about the area he served. Consequently we felt confident and reassured in his hands.
It is worth noting that once the tenancy has been signed, you may not have the continuity or same quick response with your initial agent. We had to contact various members of the Fulham branch with queries once the tenancy was signed and we were waiting for the keys and move in date.

Foxtons have a reputation for being very sales-focused - but this isn't necessarily a bad thing, especially if you're a potential tenant who needs to get things done quickly. After a different rental agreement fell through, I rang up the Fulham Broadwad office to see what they had on offer: within 90 minutes I was in one of their minis seeing three different properties around the area. Found the perfect one which had just been reduced that day - put in an offer, the landlord was contacted, and it was accepted there and then. Needless to say we were relieved. Saying that, we weren't rushed or overly-pressured, and Alex (the agent) was very good with answering any concerns.
Now we've moved in and are very happy with the flat, turns out the first rental falling through was a blessing in disguise. Shout out to Alex for being so on it throughout.

We have had issues with Foxtons ever since signing our contract. If it wasn't for the landlord, who is actually a very nice and helpful landlord, I expect we would have left instantly. Now we are lucky enough to be able to buy our first home, the rudeness and unprofessional attitude of 'Alex' (no introduction to even know his/her surname) has been a constant reminder of the very very poor quality of staff they hire.
What makes me laugh the most is that Foxtons personally encourage their staff to push friends/family, who have no connection to using Foxtons, to add in 5 star ratings,.
As we speak, we have multiple Foxtons employees trying to book visits, some range from 30mins, some to 60mins, they are overbooking visits on each other, scrambling to make a sale because no one wants to use them.

Update: Since the below wasn’t enough, Foxtons have upped their game to be truly the worst of the worst. Over three months before our tenancy is set to end, Foxtons agents without prior notice or consent entered our home and conducted viewings! When confronted with the facts, no apology was made for their actions and James Hankin (the new office manager) even had the gall to address us in a condescending and argumentative manner. Furthermore, he cited his ‘right’ to enter our home, which completely goes against the law, let alone the contract that Foxtons themselves drew up. Future tenants, I cannot stress how much you should avoid this agency.
While you expect London lettings agencies to be brutal, Foxtons Fulham cranks it up a notch. Tenants beware. We placed a conditional offer on a property that was accepted based on conditions. We then signed the let contract based on our offer's acceptance by the landlord. When the landlord failed to deliver on the offer conditions we went back to Foxtons. They shrugged their shoulders, said too bad and that the landlord doesn't need to keep their end of the deal. Alex Cima and Rupert Simmonds over-promise, under deliver and will blatantly lie to seal the deal in favour of the landlord.

Without doubt the most shady agency in London (Foxtons Fulham).
At first visit and glance, it seems like a great agency - that is, until the contract is signed then they change their attitude and go against everything that was decided in the offer.
We dealt with negotiator Alex Cima.
Some of the highlights of their shadiness includes;
- Due to the fact that the apartment was in REALLY Bad condition, we still saw potential with it and sent in an offer where we listed things that needed repairs or fixing up.
Foxtons deliberately left these conditions out of the actual rental contract and when we brought things up that we listed to our landlord, the landlord called Foxtons Fulham office manager Rupert Simmonds, and he apparently just laughed it off and said it wasn't in the actual contract and that the landlord should not bother!
- The last thing Alex Cima tells us before handing us the keys is that it is part of his job to personally inspect the flat, and entering the flat - ha, the contractors wasn't even half ready with the fixings, and when they finally were 4 days in to our tenancy, there were still mould in the bathroom, in the fridge and so on! Great job Alex!
- And in the meantime of closing this, after having paid a deposit, it took 3 weeks to get any word from any of these guys, and including Alex going on holiday without noticing us.
I would choose any other agency above Foxtons, especially in Fulham.

Awful experience as a tenant. Terrible service, with very high service charge. Ridiculous things can happen if you rent with them, such as changing your lock without telling you, annual rent increase of 5% on top of renewal fee if you choose to renew, and returning only a fraction of the deposit at end of tenancy due to "accounting error". Granted I somehow managed to resolve these issues on my own, but as one of the largest estate agents in London, I don't understand how they can get away with these shady practices and incompetent staff. Avoid.

Ellie Bowers is amazing. She is genuinely helpful without being pushy and really listens to what you are looking for in a flat so that she can find exactly what you want. I also dealt with several different agents at different offices and Ellie was hands down the best, I really didn't want to deal with anyone else! On top of her great service, I was really impressed with how detailed Foxtons is with the move in process. They really have everything covered and make it easy for you to get settled, which was really nice since I relocated here from Canada which is very different in regards to rentals. All in all five star service all around thank you Foxtons and especially Ellie for everything.

I have had experience with other agents selling houses and the process was too slow, a critical failing in a moving market. I have also sold through Foxtons before; I chose them this time because I knew they would achieve the best possible price and, just as importantly, be as motivated as myself to get to completion. I was not disappointed; chasing the buyer and solicitor every day, getting back to me immediately, smoothly dealing with any problem arising. This is where their experience and professionalism is second to none. Foxtons know exactly how to get the job done fast and saved me a lot in mortgage payments. Other agents promise low fees but in my experience do not deliver. In my opinion Foxtons are undoubtably the best at what they do.

Apologies for the unsolicited email but I have been receiving some quite outstanding service from Rupert Simmonds, which I believe deserves a commendation. I have four investments flats, all of which I entrust to Foxtons. Last year there were some speed bumps in the service, which caused Rupert and I to fall out a little and I considered leaving Foxtons quite seriously. I’m sure there was fault on both sides. However, Rupert has since provided very good service, helped me with a particularly tricky situation with tenants who failed to pay the rent and has also pulled off a big rent increase on one flat. I now feel loyal to Foxtons and have no intention of putting my properties with any other agent...assuming the excellent service continues, of course!
I’m very impressed by the quality of service I’m getting from Rupert, his ability to turn around a tricky situation and the price rise he achieved on my flat in Queens Club Gardens. He deserves a pat on the back.

As a landlord, I've used a number of other agents in the area and from experience Foxtons are by far the most professional - I would not hesitate to use them again. I worked with Neil Cunningham and Jessica Davies and they did a great job in finding me a great tenant at the right price in a short space of time.
