We had an absolutely brilliant experience with Robinson Jackson.
We viewed 3 properties through Robinson Jackson and had Rob as our agent. Rob was a delight and was absolutely brilliant throughout, firstly he was incredibly knowledgeable about both the properties (not all estate agents are) but the most impressive part was his customer care. He was constantly checking in with us to update us on the status of the property we had offered on and to check in on how our sale was going and was always responsive to our (many) questions! A special shoutout to Emma who also was incredibly accommodating and managed to squeeze in a last minute viewing on another property and was also incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Overall, I would wholeheartedly recommend Robinson Jackson for buying or selling a property!

Great team with an especially kind, supportive and hard working individual called Maria from the progressing team. Not only did she stay on top of everything but she also tackled anything no matter what you threw at her, from the basics of understanding questions in hard paperwork which even adults find hard to understand to solve and explain any questions you have A-Z. I Mean, I had a whole roller-coaster of a process not only because my solicitor was slow but it was also because of the up and down moments I had with communication between the solicitors. I almost gave up and was thinking about re-mortgage, thinking to avoid this one opportunity to go on the property ladder but Maria was incredibly positive and supportive even in the toughest times. And The icing on the top which was the patience of the team including Jamie Nicol, Robert Langley and Chris Perkins by them willingly sacrificing there time, even after the branch was suppose to close, this proves they do everything in consideration of your benefit.

I contacted a couple of estate agents to value my fathers house, as you can imagine assisting a relative sell a property can be pretty stressful! Jamie came round to value the property & engaged well with my dad who suffered from a stroke a few years back, he was extremely helpful, patient & assisted us with no feeling of pressure at all. We arranged an open day within a week & the team got an amazing 11 viewings. I dropped my fathers key off to the branch (Jamie offered for someone to collect), on arrival the blonde lady at the front desk had a lovely big smile, was approachable and listened to me as I excitedly mentioned my expectations of the viewings. Emma who I spoke with on the telephone managed the open the day and assisted all the viewers/viewings of the house, when I spoke to Emma on the phone she was lovely, she was just as excited as I was that the viewings went well and we had two offers, naturally reviewing the potential buyers circumstance we went with the higher bid and the joy in her voice it was clear how happy she was for the family buying as well as us selling. It’s been a 10/10 experience, every member of the team has been helpful and truly made this situation as stress free as possible. A great team, Maria, and Chris, in particular. Very understanding of delays that can happen in issues with leasehold/freehold, and never pressured me, a first time buyer. In fact, were very reassuring. I had seen a number of flats with Robinson Jackson, catford and otherwise, and no nonsense estate agents. They do not suggest places that are not what you are after, unlike many/most estate agents. Go see them. You will get a very nice photo taken at the end as well!!

There were glimmers of hope along the way, but on the whole, not a great experience.
When the process started a year ago (I’ve only just exchanged), I was given a very inexperienced estate agent for the first 6 months, who was absolutely terrible and failed to sell my home. One day, I witnessed him trying to “sell” to a client, as I happened to be home. He just stood there hoping for the best. He hardly bothered to even speak to the clients, despite me taking the time to clarify the selling points to him beforehand. I felt like a total guinea pig - despite giving feedback, and requesting an alternative agent, nothing happened.
After 6 months of empty promises, he was eventually fired and I was given an alternative agent (Rob from the Catford office) who was fantastic. He sold my property in 2 weeks following the handover. Just a shame that action hadn’t been taken earlier…
Fast forward 5 months after a terribly painful process with a prolonged back and forth between the solicitors that Robinson Jackson recommended (AVOID COOK TAYLOR WOODHOUSE AT ALL COSTS), my assigned Progressor, who I found generally helpful, cornered me by telling me that my buyer will pull out unless I commit to moving on her chosen date, regardless of whether my seller for my onward purchase had confirmed or not. Whilst she was generally empathic prior to this, I found this level of customer service disappointing. I felt very alone for the majority of the time from beginning to end, and feel shocked at the high fees incurred, in light of my experience.
Despite the many negative moments a long the way, there were glimmers of hope. Thank you to Jamie, Rob, and Mark (Catford office) for making the experience a bit better. Your empathy, experience, attention to detail and reassurance helped.

I found all the staff at Robinson Jackson Estate agents to be very helpful and polite, no question was a silly one and they took the time to answer any questions raised.
The staff at Robinson Jackson would always provide an update of any potential buyers with a brief telephone call followed by an email. When attending the property with a potential client the representative would always ensure that you are given the choice to either remain in the property should you wish to do so or go out. If the weather was good on a client's visit I would go for a walk to the local park in Ladywell, which is walking distance from the property. If it rained I would remain in the property but keep out of the way as much as possible. There were occasions where the potential client required additional information in respect of the property, for example the property is just across the road from the railway station and I was often asked whether I was affected by the constant noise when the trains go by.
Due to the fact that the property benefits form double glazing this was not an issue for either our family or friends as they always remark on how quite it was in the house. Additionally, the we also had the benefit of very good neighbours, our street is very quite but also a very friendly one.
We also have some London Transport buses terminating 2 streets behind at the back of Tesco but again there are no difficulties with noise as we never hear them. In addition there is also a primary school close by but again we never hear the children during their play time or at the end of the school day unless you are on your way out during their play time.
I would recommend this area to anyone looking for a place to live with everything right on your door step especially if you are commuting, there are trains from Catford Bridge station into central London either to London Bridge, Charing Cross and Cannon Street. There are also trains from Catford Station to Bedford, Bromley and Sevenoaks going in the opposite direction. In the event that you do not wish to take the train there is also a very good bus service into Lewisham and Bromley Shopping Centres.

Honestly couldn’t have done it without Lorraine and Maria from Robinson Jackson. The sellers had the worst legal team on earth but Maria and Lorraine were calling them every hour on the hour to try to stop the lawyers from stalling the process. They also consistently sent chaser emails to keep the process moving along. They updated me every 30min via either an email or phone call and even got the seller themselves to go to their lawyers office to sort out the situation. The team went above and beyond and the Robinson Jackson director, Chris, even had to speak to the director of the legal firm at 9pm, well after closing hours, to push the process along. The whole team gave great effort and didn’t let a single one of my phone calls to the office go unanswered so I honestly cannot thank them enough.

Absolutely I have nothing but good things to say about Chris Perkins and his team at Robinson Jackson estate agents in Catford. Buying and selling can be stressful but Chris made every possible effort, going well above and beyond to push my transaction to completion which was at real risk of falling through because of a combination of circumstance and a couple of solicitors in the chain. Chris has a heart of gold and works diligently so that his clients complete and are happy. You certainly can't ask for more than that.
One word of caution to everyone - please research the solicitors you take on. Check their google reviews. A good solicitor can make all the difference so that you and your agent are not under potentially high levels of stress through the process. It can even make the difference between successfully purchasing your property or for it falling through.
I thankfully completed and started the next chapter of my life in a different city because of the immense work that Chris put in. I can wholeheartedly recommend Robinson Jackson agents and Chris Perkins.

I didn't really think I would find an Estate Agent I would want to wholeheartedly recommend. Let's face it Estate Agents aren't the most popular people. However I would really recommend Robinson Jackson. I found them proactive. They really managed to get lots of viewings. The communication about viewings was really helpful, by this I mean that I knew how many people they were showing around (not always happened with other estate agents in my experience). I felt supported along the way and found staff really approachable and down to earth. I never felt that I was fobbed off with jargon or that any queries I had were answered with anything other than respect. I chose this estate agent because of the excellent reviews I read online and they lived up to my expectations.

I don’t know if its Robinson and Jackson in general but I can say that the Catford group are by far the best that have represented me as a tenant and are amazing at property management …which brings me to the story of this review…
We recently had a property issue which needed to be resolved pretty quick for my family’s piece of mind…. Robinson and Jackson were like starving pitbulls in their mission to get this sorted and would you know it, something that would have normally take weeks to fix took a couple of days (honestly you would have thought it was them living here)

Even though this was a long drawn out sale due to the first buyer completely messing myself and Robinson Jackson around, i could not fault the service they provided. When we eventually decided to remarket the property, there was a conveyor belt of viewers each day and the property was resold within 6 days and sale was then completed within 10 weeks.
Absolutely first class service, Cathy, Lorraine and Simon were brilliant all the way through to the point now I feel a bit lost not speaking to Lorraine each day !

Absolute cowboys.... I’ve enquired on a property for the last few months which has a board outside, both times I have been told 2 completely different stories and also been lied to by Danny who said that they had the property on but the owners were self isolating which is a complete lie....
They have boards up but do NOT have the properties on their books and make up any story to go along with it. This has been the case on another property on the same road only 6 weeks ago. It’s shocking

The service we received was fantastic. Simon provided a realistic valuation based on the market and discussed his strategy for achieving the best possible outcome. True to his word, we had a huge number of viewings and sold for a great price within a week. The rest of the team were really helpful. In particular, Lorraine, who is the sales progressor was absolutely fantastic in ensuring the sale went through smoothly and that issues were resolved as speedily as possible. I would use Robinson Jackson again.

Awful experience with the sales team! I had to deal with 4 people none of which seemed to know what is going on. Misleading advertised property, then after I put an offer on the flat they sent me a text (not a telephone call, not an email but a text) saying that they have given me a wrong figure for the lease extension (the price they had on file was only 10-15k more than what I was told, not too much a? ...). Then took them over a month to realise that the surveyor hasn't picked up the keys to do the survey. Lots of complications, lots of lies and calls they never returned. Then after 5 months when it became clear that the purchase will not go ahead no one called me to say that this is the case instead I am still "waiting" for an email or telephone call with an update (3 weeks now). Also what annoyed me is that they didn't try to offer me another property of theirs that might be of interest to me. Not happy with them at all!
