We sold our flat with the Sydenham branch of Acorn. From our initial conversations about the valuation through to completion, the team (including Abbie, Brendan, Zoe and Josh) were responsive, informative, helpful and friendly. Would absolutely recommend Acorn to prospective buyers and sellers in SE London.
I am renting a property with Acorn and have received nothing but poor service. When paying the deposit I was assured all work would be carried out that was required (loose floor boards, vomit and faeces on walls, severe mould and damp problem) before the moving date, this date came and went with no keys forcing us to stay in hotels until they finally handed over the keys.
We got into the flat and nothing had been done ,not even cleaned professionally despite being part of the fees they charge. After this the flat flooded due to a neighbour leaving taps on, and it's taken 6months for the work to be carried out to fix the damage to the bedroom.
The agency are very poor at replying to emails just get passed between people and have been unprofessional from the start.
Very professional and communicated throughout the process. I now have great tenants at a higher rate than expected.
Sold two properties through Acorn Catford and have always found the selling process to be well managed and consistent from start to finish. Valuations were accurate and realistic rather than over inflated, viewings were always conducted with adequate notice and respect to the properties and any offers that were put forward to me were backed up with sufficient checks that the buyers were able to buy.
All in all I have been very happy the experience I have had with Acorn Catford and would not hesitate to recommend them as my agent of choice.
We were looking to move to London from Berlin and Ezra Osborne made the whole process incredibly easy. He showed us properties that fit our requirements and we found our perfect place on the first day. He was incredibly professional, friendly and hands on while all the paperwork took place and we were still abroad. Made moving very easy!

Very unreliable, we were told our offer was accepted, card details taken, a week later found out that nothing was arranged and that our offer was still on the table with another offer!! Very stressful dealing with them, even the manager of the branch (Brockley) wasn't very trustworthy, difficult to get hold of, ignoring our emails, saying he would arrange things and he wouldn't. We couldn't believe an agent could be so unreliable! If they were not a big agency we would have thought we got involved into some dodgy business. Everything ok at the end but when we were finally given the landlord's details and got to speak with him we found out the agent hadn't even spoken to him about things he said he would arrange. So disappointing! Good we get to deal directly with the landlord from now on!
We had a really positive experience using kfh to sell our home. I found all the staff I dealt with to be very friendly and easy to talk to. Brian in particular was on hand to answer any questions and worked really hard to get the sale pushed through.
Really disappointed. Completely overvalued my propety from the outset and lured me into a false sense of security. Constantly showed people round who weren’t interested as they didn’t fit the criteria, simply to hit their viewings targets. Genuinely feel like I lost out on ££££’s as a result of going with them in the first place. Only slight positive is that the people themselves are nice enough and I was met with politeness, even when I told them I was going elsewhere. In my experience it really paid to go with a local agent, I’d urge anyone selling in Forest Hill to do the same.
I don't usually write reviews but really want to show my appreciation here to Kyle who was so responsive and caring when helping me to find a place to live in London. He made the whole process as stress free as it could have been and really made me feel at ease. Kyle has even checked up since I moved in. Really great service, not only professional but super friendly, thank you so much :)
I rang with the simple question of "Do you do probate valuations?" I could not get a straightforward answer. The employee, who had refrained from giving her name, wanted to know my property details, whether I intended selling through them, which road the property was in? On asking again "Do you do probate valuations?" I was still unable to get a straight forward reply. Wouldn't use them for anything after this. As if dealing with Probate isn't upsetting enough.
Our experience with Laurence Vaitkevicius, in particular, was extremely positive, he went above and beyond to ensure that all our needs where met. I’d also like to thank the rest of the team at KFH Catford as they helped us on occassion too.
Laurence took the stress away from the renting process and was very transparent with us and was an excellent communicator.
I must say that my experience with KFH Catford has been one of the best of my renting life to date; Clement would have to be the proverbial 'man of the match' as he kept in contact with me after searching elsewhere hooked me back in and made sure I had seen what is now our home which is perfect for us. The rest of the team were great too and showed nothing but professionalism and friendly demeanor through out the entire process and were more than patient when we hit a couple of bumps on the road. If you hadn't realized this by now concerning KFH, I'm a fan. Thanks guy's!
