Very frustrating to deal with. Lack of attention to detail. Spoke to a few different employees about various things and found the same problem across the board - they aren’t listening most of the time and make a lot of assumptions instead of bothering to ask you a simple question.
I asked repeatedly to be emailed but the employee Harry I spoke to kept insisting on calling against our wishes. There was also a significant amount of errors made on his behalf which was incredibly frustrating. Especially when no matter how I worded it he just refused to listen and kept doubling down on the same mistake. We were also informed by the manager that if we wanted to purchase a property fully furnished, we would have to negotiate additional money however when we saw the ad listed on their website it clearly stated it was being sold as fully furnished… so I’m unclear as to whether or not this was an attempt to get us to spend more money unnecessarily. This comes across as really bad business practice and very deceptive and devious. I have reached out to William H Brown for clarification.

We have purchased a house through William H Brown. The process has been smooth and the team are always at the end of the phone ready to help.
Everyone we have dealt with has been lovely, but a particular shout out to Alice (who showed us around the property) and Lottie (Branch Manager) who have guided us through the process and offered valuable information and insight along the way.
Buying a house is a complicated thing, especially if you haven't done it before, but the Team at William H Brown have enabled us to navigate the process with ease.

I first used this Branch in Autumn 2022 when I was interested in a new build site this agent represented. First impressions were that of extremely friendly and helpful staff throughout the Branch. They kept me fully informed of the development in which I was seriously interested. I am now the occupying owner of a new home on this site. I would particularly like to mention Bea King, one of the Sales Negotiators with whom I mostly dealt. She was excellent in her role and I was particularly delighted by her ability to keep contact, albeit not excessively, and update me all the time. Also, she did this in an extremely friendly way which I believe reflected her sense of humour and very bubbly personality...! She is a talented young lady and in my opinion will go far...!

Tracey, Doris, Chloe and colleagues provide a really excellent service. They deliver what they say they will do. In addition, they are experts on the local market so very often can help you to sell AND buy by really understanding your needs and accurately selecting properties that suit you. The internet marketing is pin sharp and the photographic service (which can include drone views) gives very good images which get your property noticed on the web. Whilst they are a friendly local office, they are connected with so many potential buyers and sellers in the group. This is my second time using this team and I would do so again without hesitation.

Friendly but ultimately ineffective. Sold our house last year, with them Within a week or ten days Ollie tried to persuade us to reduce the price which we held firm on. We we're asked to vacate the property on one occasion only to find out (not be informed) that the viewing did not take place. After receiving and accepting an offer, things went quiet, we received a letter from our buyers expressing difficultly in contacting WHB, when we made enquiries, we found that the whole staff had been furloughed, in the middlr of our sale with no notification is whatsoever. After they returned to work, we were eager to progress things, we we're constantly trying to find out what was going on, at one point being told that Ollie chased things up on a Tuesday! In the end we found out more from our buyers estate agents (Tim at David Burr) about delays down a short chain than we ever found out from WHB. Pleasant, made the right noises but ultimately ineffective. Wouldn't use them again.

After a single enquiry to W H Brown; I received nothing but complete professionalism from Oliver Yeatts. Not only has Oliver been prompt with updates, he has been extremely thorough too, even behind the scenes he worked hard to make the house progress faster for our benefit. My partner & I had a house buy processing when the vendors suddenly changed their minds about selling; Oliver made a very emotional situation easier to get through. Within days of that house buy falling through, he had found our (now) forever home. He had gone above and beyond to get us viewing it right away; the property hadn’t even made it onto the W H Brown website before our offer got accepted. From then on, Oliver continued to act in complete dedication to getting it to completion. It wasn't easy paperwork, there was a lot more chasing compared to a standard house sale due to it also being converted from leasehold to freehold at the same time. As if being the link between us and the vendor wasn’t enough work, he was also in communication with the local council, regarding the conversion, to keep things moving along smoothly! We will be buying additional property in the future, and Oliver will absolutely be oury first call when we do! We cannot recommend Oliver enough; he thrives under pressure and is an asset to any team he’s a part of. A complete credit to W H Brown, they are very lucky to have him.
