What an amazing branch, my personal experience with the young negotiator called Ryan was the best that I have witnessed, even though we didn’t buy through them in the end, he was very much on hand with us regularly, with new properties that fitted our criteria as-well as accompany us on serval viewings.
For such a young lad he was very knowledgeable in every aspect and very much knew every detail of what he was selling, He comes across professional and very likeable, definitely customer oriented.
Compared to what we have viewed with other agents he was certainly the best we have seen and definitely sets a high standard.
I highly recommend everyone to talk to Ryan at first contact, he has earned my referrals!!

We sold a property in Ipswich back in October 2021. W H Brown claimed to have sold it - they did not, and we never approved their marketing materials. Yet to this day we are being pursued by a debt collection agency saying we owe them a fee. A word of warning to others to avoid W H Brown, and any agency that is part of Connells, like the plague. No wonder estate agents have a bad name.

Absolutely disgusting service.
I put in 3 offers for a house I liked and they were telling me the vendor wasn’t accepting my offers.
Turns out the vendor didn’t even know anything about my offers and William h Brown had been lying to me about contacting the seller!!
Not to mention their ridiculous fees and how pushy they are to get you to go to them. Also degrading other estate agents to make themselves look better.
Steer clear of this dreadful company.

Poor communication, very poor sales skills, as both a buyer and a seller I would not recommend, they do little to no work but happy to take their fee. Always using excuses like person dealing with it on a day off or on holiday! Very disappointing. Would advise using smaller independent estate agents who actually care about their customers

*almost gave this a 4 star because we unfortunately had not a very good experience with the lawyers they had recommended us. But this was the only thing that was not helpful.
My husband and I had Lottie to show us around for viewing a place in Kesgrave. They've been helpful in the process with mediating things and getting us connected with the developer. And we're excited to be getting the new place soon!

Then, luckily, I talked to Charlotte Roberts from WH Brown, and that conversation put an end to my property search. She explained the entire process to me in simplest possible terms, helped a lot to finalise the property, initiated my conversation with the solicitor and most importantly, answered all my queries (some of them were really silly!). After being turned down by many lenders through my previous broker who barely picked up my calls and wouldn’t communicate well with me, i was told I couldn’t get a mortgage because of my defaults. i was recommended by family to contact Jake Good at William H Brown who was on the ball from the get go!
Ofcourse he cant guarantee anything but gave me reassurance. Communication was on point at all times and gave me regular updates. He found me a mortgage with a high street lender despite my defaults and was at a good rate too (2.4% with 10% deposit).
He was clear, supportive and helpful throughout the entire stage and I can’t thank Jake enough for making my dreams come true. Charges we’re competitive and reasonable and the price you pay definitely reflects on the service received; oh and its a lifetime service too!
Would highly recommend this broker.

If I could rate 6 stars I would!! Outstanding customer service and changed my whole opinion of Estate Agents. My parents are currently in the processing of selling their property through William H Brown and I was worried that people might have taken advantage of their situation. However, the Ipswich branch committed to finding the right buyer (thank you lee for your persistence and support), and after the sale was agreed, the branch then went over and above to provide support for my parents with the pages and pages of paper work, not only for the same of their property, but the purchase of another property as they look to downsize. a big and personal shout out for Charlotte Roberts, I cannot thank you enough for your time and effort assisting my parents, it would have been very difficult without your support.
I would recommend William H Brown, especially the Ipswich Woodbridge Rd branch to anyone looking to buy/sell a property. Look out for Lee and/or Charlotte Roberts (Lottie) as I cannot thank you both enough. You have both set the bar very high in terms of customer service and the overall customer experience. Communication back and forth was never an issue. I would hope William H Brown use Ipswich as the benchmark going forward.

Respectful and listed to our preferences and needs. We could have gone for a marginally cheaper Agent, however the service they have provided has been good value. Why ? Within a couple of weeks of speaking to Lottie to be put on their mailing list regarding properties in a certain area I was contacted early on a Saturday morning about a potential house which would suit our requirements. Within 1 working day we had viewed the property and had an offer accepted for our dream house all before there had even been time to put the property on Rightmove.
Great communication by the entire team in the office and nothing has been to much trouble.

Have been using WHBrown as our mortgage brokers for a couple of years now. As inherent 'haters' of paperwork we have been amazed at how easy the process is made for us. All the staff are extremely helpful and professional and Jake our Mortgage Broker is a real star. Being able to talk to someone quickly and get issues sorted is a service we rarely seem to get nowadays and to top it all Jake makes it enjoyable! Definitely recommend them.
