My wife and I had an awful experience letting a property through Jack. While seeming very helpful and friendly at first, once we were moved in Jack basically ghosted us. While he agreed to move certain furniture out of the property prior to our move-in date, it didn’t get moved for months, and only after our repeated complaints. When things broke in the flat, he frequently ignored our messages, and when he did eventually respond was very unhelpful. To make matters worse, when we gave our notice we were leaving, he provided little to no instruction about checking out, and delayed repayment of our deposit for no reason, all the while with no communication. If you are considering transacting on a property with Jack, I strongly advise against doing so - we are very glad to be rid of him.... Read more

Dreadful experience as a buyer. My advice is to complete the deal as soon as you can if you ever work with winkworth West Hampstead. Jack Peet the manager completely has two faces! First impression super nice and kinda take my word for it etc. however I did not know that whilst we agreed the deal and the house was off market allegedly, he was still taking people for viewing for a few more quids! Very poor communication throughout the process and never even bothered to contact me that he has agreed the deal with someone else when I was paying for searches, solicitor, survey etc. No communication not answering calls or emails, I found him very unprofessional and inhuman. Amazing to see one of the five star reviews was from the seller of the same house! Maybe good for sellers but awful and so dishonest for buyers, just to be aware of! I am editing my review based on the Jack Peet’s response. Unfortunately his comment is categorically false and misleading! First of all I am not suggesting that it’s not the vendor’s right to change their mind until completion. My point was to make people aware that there are bad actors out there that unprofessionally negotiating with others whilst a deal is agreed (by the way the idea of modified offer is also wrong as the revised offer based on the middle ground after the building survey was officially agreed by both parties and cannot be used as an excuse for keep one buyer on board dishonestly and ask to pay for all the costs without knowledge of the property is still being shown and advertised to others. Also to stress that there was no response or information from Jack that property was sold to someone else therefore very poor communication.... Read more
