As a landlord of a property in Hemel Hempstead that I have been letting with Brown & Merry for the last 10 years. I have never had any issues with my tenants until recently when due to Stephen Counden and Eliot Mortimer's quick response we managed to mitigate the situation before it got worse. I cannot thank them both enough for their support and effort made to come to a good outcome for all. This was extremely stressful for both me and them included and I really feel they went over and above what was expected.

From start to finish the process was so easy and simple,from my first call to the office to signing the paperwork Stephen and Elliot just made it effortless,and the speed in which they work is a testament to there experience…thank you to both of them and to merry and brown as a hole…

We had a very positive home-finding and move-in experience with the Brown&Merry Lettings Team. Emily and Ellie were especially a pleasure to work with: they both provided us with a really smooth and efficient service from passing on our initial offer, through property viewing, referencing to contract signing and handing us the keys to our lovely new home.
They even surprised us with a personalised Home Move Box, which was such a nice touch and made us feel so welcome.
I and my husband can only recommend Emily, Ellie and their Lettings Team to other prospective lettings customers looking for a great service.
I would also like to give a big shout out for Gemma for her amazingly efficient and expert mortgage advice and matching us with the best mortgage lenders.

Was keen on viewing a house but some 12 year old kid named Mo who they have manning the phones was completely useless in organising a viewing and eventually said that the house was sold despite not being sold.
I went and viewed the house at another local estate agent who were very good at organising a viewing.
I event put in an offer and gazumped the poor person who had the misfortune of dealing with Mo and Co at Brown and Merry. I am currently typing this review from that very house!
Lesson learnt, when selling £500K+ houses don’t put a 12 year old as your front of house!

This the second time I have used Brown and Merry once with the sale of my mothers house and most recently with the sale of my flat.
The Wendover branch Claire Raven in particular have been great. They found me a buyer within 2 weeks and helped through a quite lengthy process of issues with the lease.
Thank you to the team so glad we got there in the end. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Andrew Teacher has guided, shared knowledge and supported for many years. His calm, can do attitude is just what is needed when navigating the largest purchase many of us will make. Andrew is honest and built huge trust through his actions and genuine kindness, not a service you find everywhere!
