Disappointing experience all round – avoid Hunters Tamworth.
I had a highly disappointing experience from start to finish with Hunters Tamworth. They promise excellent customer service, but their idea of communication is simply sending copy and pasted updates on WhatsApp. When it actually mattered, they couldn't even be bothered to pick up the phone, leaving us completely in the dark at critical points in the chain. Dealing with Leah was particularly frustrating; she was incredibly condescending and acted as though she was doing us a massive favour just by doing her job.
The marketing process was an absolute shambles. The photographer failed to show up for the first appointment without giving any notice at all. Instead of rescheduling immediately, the agent decided to take photos on his phone, which turned out horrible. When they finally did rebook a professional photographer, it was clear they are way behind with technology, as they didn't even bother to use drone photography.
To make matters worse, they never turned up on time for a single viewing. Honestly, the house sold itself—the agents had to do virtually nothing. Yet, they remained incredibly greedy for commission, even after the sale fell through. Graham turned quite bitter at our decision to not sell even though it is our property and our personal circumstances should still matter. Save yourself the stress and go with another estate agent. There are tons of better options available in the area.

My wife and I have been very impressed with Madison and her professionalism while we were looking for a house in Lichfield.
Prior to our own house going on the market she was proactive reaching out to us without being pushy. When we had our house on the market she was very helpful trying to identify appropriate properties. It was lovely to meet her in person a couple of weeks ago when she showed us around a house herself.

Hunters and its Staff went beyond their way to help up find a buyer and helped us with all the step of complex chain purchase. Helen is very professional and made a big difference in final stages of the sale. Dev gave really good professional advice at start of the sales process.

There is no possible way that I could recommend the Hunters Filey team enough. Whatever I say in the coming sentences, it will come nowhere near to expressing the magnitude of empathy, professionalism and dedication that this team demonstrate. They are absolutely incredible and we owe our dream home entirely to them (and in particular Amy, who single-handedly kept things on track despite the countless issues thrown at her).
From having the house pictured on the Monday, to its listing on the Saturday, and its subsequent sale (at full asking price) on the Monday - it was clear that Hunters were going to be a force to be reckoned with. The quality of the pictures and way in which they (briefly) marketed my property completely outstripped the competition. We were in awe.
From there they managed to keep the chain together (how? I still don’t know!) despite people in the chain demanding more money at exchange, others asking for last-minute date changes and others threatening to walk away throughout the process due to completely different reasons. I would guess about 50% of these issues could/should come down to Amy to deal with, however time and time again she took it upon herself to attack 100% of these issues on our behalf.
In short. This deal was for our dream house. It should have fallen over at least 4 times but the Hunters Team got it over the line and we will be forever grateful.
Hunters Filey - you have a loyal customer for life and a lifetime free pass for coffee/tea/cake whenever you are in the neighbourhood. Thank you.
