Hunters in Leighton buzzard were very reliable. All the staff were friendly professional extremely helpful. Nick had an amazing knowledge of the local area and was a wealth of helpful information. I would definitely recommend them.

We recently used Hunters to sell our flat in Hackney - can’t thank Shaheel and the team enough for the smooth process. Really knowledgeable about the area and local market. They were great at managing everything throughout, very proactive and kept us regularly updated on progress. We also had great support from the wider team with Sapphire managing the final sale process and Emma helping arrange quotes and recommendations for works. Would really recommend the team for property sales in the Stoke Newington/Hackney area!

They failed to sell my property, only securing one viewing in four months. There was no communication unless chased and no guidance at all. It seemed like they couldn't really be bothered.

Have been waiting for two weeks for a response to questions I asked re repairs and lack of property income statements, terrible service since the business was taken over by the new owners. I have also been informed they have difficulty retaining staff!!!!!
Previously had first class service.

Great experience in getting my flooring replaced in the bathroom with Hunters.

Im 62 yrs of age and never sold a house before (lived in same house since got married) so when my mum passed away I was left in a fortunate position where I had a house to sell. As I had no previous experience of selling, I asked my friend to accompany me with the valuation appointments. After 2 appointments which we both agreed undervalued the house and seemed only interested in a quick sale one very eager for me to sign there and then. So we decided to try Hunters Estate Agents Hillsborough Helen arrived and all of a sudden felt this meeting were different at last someone who treated this house with respect and compassion it deserved after all this was our family home for 57 yrs and held a lot of memories and Helen did just that treated it like a family home and not a commodity. Without even going to detail re charges knew we had already made our minds up ????.
The charges were very very reasonable and she even sorted a solicitor out for us in our case used Taylor and Emmett who again cant fault on the price they charged and the first-class service we received from them.
The marketing of the property was excellent from the brochure, photos and viewings think we got 18 views in first week and numerous offers.
From middle April to 22nd September all now completed form start to finish excellent communication from Helen, Lauren and Emily nothing too much trouble all in all excellent service. Think for me to sum this up if you looking for an Estate Agent do not look any further than Hunters Hillsborough.

Very disappointing experience. Paid £415 holding deposit on 2 Feb 2026 after clearly telling the agent I’d go up to the asking price £1,850 pcm if needed.<br>They kept showing the property and accepted a higher offer while holding my deposit – this goes against the Tenant Fees Act 2019, which says stop advertising once a holding deposit is paid.<br>They never told me about the competing higher offer – I would have matched it or gone higher. Communication was unclear, facts were distorted in their response, and the process lacked transparency and fairness.<br>Wouldn’t recommend if you want a reliable agent.
