Great support from Jane at John D Wood through a difficult sale process. Jane was superb throughout keeping all parties informed and keeping the process moving forward. A great service and I would definitely use John D Wood again.

Imagine being so unprofessional that you schedule a viewing, talk so highly about your agency and then be extremely lame enough to not show up for the viewing.
I had the absolute displeasure to deal with James Setright who scheduled a viewing and then forgot to show up at 308, Garratt Lane address at the time of the viewing.
My partner travelled an hour to reach the address and then viola, nobody shows up, I call up and James picks up and tells me that there’s nothing he could do and the best he could do is to schedule it for another day.
Whilst being civil and acting like he cared, there was absolutely no other alternative offered.
I just feel sorry for the seller here, since they should pick up someone more professional and reasonable to deal with.
To anyone at John D Wood who’s the owner, it’s not only hard to schedule viewings and reach your staff but they are just incredibly bad to deal with and make basic errors that are just blasphemous for. The nature of the business.

I had a positive experience overall with John D Wood & Co. Notting Hill. While there were some initial issues, they were handled professionally.
I would especially like to highlight Pratima’s (from the Corporate team) proactiveness and continuous support throughout the process – her responsiveness and commitment made a real difference.

We couldn’t rate John D Wood more highly, from start to finish the service and support we received was exceptional. In particular we were incredibly impressed by the service we received from David Mendel and Simon Hardie who went above and beyond to ensure we our property sold at a great price!

We worked with Stuart on buying our place in Cobham and he was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. His personal approach meant that when there were delays in the chain, he kept very calm, managed the seller very well and didn’t put any pressure on us even though the chain was at risk. Very understanding, happy to help out where he could and someone we would definitely use to sell our place in the future. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

From my dealings with this estate agency, they are staffed by real people who genuinely care. It is such a refreshing change from the likes of Dexters. I would not hesitate to use them if you want a genuine service tailored to your needs
