If I could leave 0 I would. The type of agency to be kind to your face but really will bully/ trick you for money. They recently forced a tenant into situation where they would be homeless by getting new tenants to sign a contract for the property when current tenants did not confirm a date to move out or that they were happy to proceed (this is before original tenancy was completed).
Then they proceeded to mock and gaslight the tenant for being scared of homelessness. They also overcharged the landlord.
Not to be trusted. Terrible service.

If I could give 0 stars I would.
This agent has attempted to force my partner out of her current rental property. They started viewings on the home and agreed to let the new tenant move in before they confirmed a move-out date with her.
After she asked them for help. They attempted to guilt trip her and bully her into moving into a property that was not suitable.
Agent is not to be trusted. They routinely go back on their word. They have made my partner feel desperate and pressured as she has nowhere to go.
I cannot recommend any agent that would act in such a way.
They agree a contract with a tenant without the current tenant having a move out date!!!

Brilliant handling and process by Dave. He wasn't pushy and was genuine and responsive, didn't feel like the usual stress from estate agents. Would definitely recommend

Don't bother doing business with Stirling Ackroyd!
They would advertise a place at a certain price, take 20 offers on it and then entertain every person who placed an offer to bid against others which will ultimately raise the asking price of the propriety by 20%. They are doing nothing but damaging what is already a difficult real estate market.
Communication is extremely poor, they won't keep you in the loop nor inform if your offer was successful or not.
To be frank I doubt they are even presenting all the offers to the landlord, they would most likely show off by putting forward only offers way above the asking price.
I've been working with other agencies who have made it very clear they would be unable to do any viewings or take offers once a propriety is under offer but Stirling Ackroyd works like no one else on the market and I mean it in the worst possible way.
If you are a landlord or a tenant looking for your next successful rental please take your business anywhere else but Stirling Ackroyd.

My and my Husband have recently moved into a property that was first shown to us by Christina. We have had some not- so positive experiences with estate agents in the past but Christina was a breath of fresh air. She was so friendly and down to earth and especially NOT PUSHY which was something we really appreciated , almost like a friend showing you around.
There was some delays through out the process (none of which were her fault) but we could tell that she was trying her best to get them resolved. She kept us in the loop through out and was available on the phone if we needed help.
I would 100% recommend giving her a shout to help you out when looking for a property, she’s great!

Dealing with Stirling Ackroyd was a let down. What's promised on the phone doesn't match what's emailed, causing unnecessary confusion. Their agents lack basic courtesy and professionalism, resorting to arrogance instead. Beware of their underhanded tactics to inflate prices. My advice: steer clear of Stirling Ackroyd to spare yourself the headache.
