I am extremely disappointed and outraged by the appalling service provided by Peter Alan during our recent attempt to secure a rental property.
From the very beginning, communication was horrendous. Despite paying the holding deposit and submitting all required referencing documents promptly, we received minimal updates on our application status. As our scheduled move-in date approached, we were left in the dark, constantly chasing for answers, only to be met with vague responses and further delays.
The final, devastating blow came on the very day we were supposed to move in. After numerous attempts to get in touch, we finally received a call at 5:30 PM informing us that the landlord had decided not to let the property anymore and intended to sell it. This last-minute revelation has left us homeless, with no time to make alternative arrangements.
As a pregnant woman, six months along, and with a one-year-old child, this situation is beyond stressful—it is unacceptable and irresponsible. The lack of urgency, transparency, and basic decency throughout this process has been infuriating. Moving home is already a stressful experience, and the blatant mishandling of our application has added unnecessary anxiety and hardship to our lives.
I hope this feedback serves as a serious wake-up call for Peter Alan to drastically improve their communication and customer service. No one should have to go through the ordeal that we did, especially families with young children.... Read more
