3rd Nov 2023 (8 mo. ago)(While the company did finally provide compensation, it's important to note that I still experienced a significant opportunity cost as a result of their actions.) It has undeniably been the most regrettable experience of my lifetime, dealing with a solicitor team that exhibited a severe lack of professionalism and courtesy. Initially, I placed my trust in them based on their positive Google reviews, which now appear to be misleading and have led to significant frustration and inconvenience on my part. The solicitor in question was Shari, who astonishingly took a full year to complete the anti-money laundering check, despite my having submitted all required documents promptly. To compound matters, she repeatedly requested the same information, leading to redundant submissions. Regrettably, she ceased all communication, failing to respond to both my emails and those from the seller's side. My attempts to reach her went unanswered for two months until she seemingly disappeared without a trace. I was dismayed to find myself in such a predicament. In desperation, I enlisted the assistance of the estate agent, who contacted Joni, the National Head of Conveyancing. However, this interaction proved to be equally disheartening, as Joni not only displayed a lack of professionalism but also declined to provide any insight into the unilateral breach of contract, responding in a profane manner. I strongly advise against engaging with this company. As a result of their inefficiency, my funds remained in limbo within my bank account, as I had initially believed they could promptly resolve their business matters. Consequently, I have incurred substantial financial losses due to the failure of Simpson & Marwick to deliver on their commitments.

13th Aug 2023 (11 mo. ago)A poorly organised business. I called twice in the space of 7 days to try arrange a valuation. No one bothered to call back. Clearly too busy for my custom. Opted to use Graham Sibbald instead, call back within an hour and booked in.
5th Dec 2023 (7 mo. ago)Graham and Sibbald have been our landlords property management company for over 10 years and we have just been taken over by Westport property Dundee - and I must say the best Christmas present I could ask for. Graham and Sibbald have managed 4 units of family run businesses and have been useless. Emails have been ignored now for months from all 4 tenants. We have all had to close our businesses on numerous occasions as the roof on the building is needing replaced and we are constantly flooded. The car park has no working lights as been reported numerous times with no reply. The stairs to the property are all loose - again reported numerous times with no reply. Front window was smashed in, they charged our business for the repair only to be informed but our insurance that the landlord is responsible for glass repair - we were only given 2/3 of the cost back as said they could have found someone cheaper. 3 days with Westport property and the roof is being replaced next month, lights are replaced , stair been repaired - professional and efficient customer service - highly recommend Westport property if you need your property looked after properly and to have happy loyal tenants

Cant fault bastion at all , highly recommend if you looking to sell your house these are the people you want representing you. Many thanks Bob C
25th Sep 2023 (10 mo. ago)Ian from Martin & Co was fantastic to deal with and offered guidance throughout the process. This was my first time selling a house and it was made easy for me thanks to the great work from Ian and the rest of Martin & Co. Communication was great, the marketing was a high standard, the fees turned out to be the cheapest from all the quotes I received from various estate agents in my area, and my house was sold within 2 weeks. Overall, great value and a great service.

5th Jul 2024 (22 days ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!

Met her, photographer was there on same day, a drone was sent in to video our property, surveyor in the next day, before We knew it our flat was on the market sold within less than 2 weeks, and her promise was to communicate with all parties, as promised she delivered. Would highly rate this agency, Ashley keep doing what you do, this jobs for you, I have never experienced such a quick turnaround and will always recommend this Estate Agency to anyone who’s thinking of selling, five star rating does not justify her efficiency. Thank you so much yet again YOU ARE AMAZING
