12th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)No communication. I needed to ring to get any updates one viewing in 6 months. Shop only open till lunchtime on a Saturday. Went 3 times to speak with them, on a Saturday and the shop was closed. Before lunchtime reduced price one week later went into the shop to tell them that the property was still full price in their window. paid nearly £900. For pictures and one media post on rightmove. So not good value for money.which I cant get anything back I needed to ask for my contract which they emailed to me after six months,to find out that no money would be given back not told this when I signed. Property does not sell its self need a good agent to push your property and tell you full details before you sign agreement.

5th Oct 2020 (4 years ago)If you are renting in Bishop Auckland, go elsewhere. Rude, unprofessional and not interested at all. They allowed a vulnerable tenant to live in a complete and utter pigsty with no roof, wall to wall mould, with bags of human waste and needles filling the yard and have consistently negated their legal obligations. Thankfully, the tenant has since moved out, these clowns won't be laughing when this gets to court. I cannot recommend this shambles of a company to anyone. Avoid at all costs.

12th Oct 2024 (7 mo. ago)They don’t do repairs on houses took 3 months last year to repair a hole in the roof and now they are avoiding more repairs damp in the house and they do nothing!
11th May 2025 (7 days ago)We have recently sold and bought a house through Copelands simultaneously, and in all honesty they exceeded my expectations. The whole team were fantastic, but a big shout out to David who went above and beyond with our sale. Everything went very smoothly and communication was second to none. Holly constantly kept us up to date every step of the way and nothing was a hassle. I would absolutely recommend, as they do what they say they will, and I would 100% use them again if I ever considered another move. Thank you.

All of the viewing have been done, the offers collated and we have received email and telephone communication throughout the process. We are pleased we chose Reeds Rains, Durham.

Their knowledge is amazing. Every single member of the team has been able to answer my questions confidently with knowledge. They are patient, understanding and go above and beyond every single time. When I ask for advice or opinions I receive good trustworthy answers. They have time to talk … no rush. They have helped me every step of the way. They have made the sale of our property stress free. They also keep all those involved up to date to the minute. I would, from my experience recommend Venture Properties Agency, Darlington without question. Top marks!

26th Oct 2024 (6 mo. ago)2 viewings one offer £40000 below asking price which was set by agent as realistic then they said it was probably too high. Also I take offence to their Facebook posts that state everything they touch turns to sold! When clearly it does not.

31st Jul 2024 (9 mo. ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could

2nd May 2025 (16 days ago)I had never heard of this estate agents before so was a little wary, however i needed to move quite quickly. The ad was very well described and the pictures showcased the property well. I called to enquire and Olivia was the agent who answered, she was very professional and answered all my questions with ease. Organised a viewing and the agent was always punctual on time and if any issues arose i was emailed promptly. The application process was made very simple and the agents explained the process so i knew what was expected. i was kept informed at all stages via e-mail or phone call and was never left wondering what was happening. Move in day was made so easy again prompt and on time, they explained everything to me and what was expected from both myself and the landlord. I cant fault the company, i hope they continue this professional stance.
