12th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)No communication. I needed to ring to get any updates one viewing in 6 months. Shop only open till lunchtime on a Saturday. Went 3 times to speak with them, on a Saturday and the shop was closed. Before lunchtime reduced price one week later went into the shop to tell them that the property was still full price in their window. paid nearly £900. For pictures and one media post on rightmove. So not good value for money.which I cant get anything back I needed to ask for my contract which they emailed to me after six months,to find out that no money would be given back not told this when I signed. Property does not sell its self need a good agent to push your property and tell you full details before you sign agreement.
12th Dec 2023 (20 weeks ago)I can't praise Hunters Estate Agents in Bishop Auckland highly enough. Adam, Ella and their team add a personal touch and great professionalism to the difficult and emotional process of selling your home. The whole team was very communicative, fair and pleasant to deal with all the way through the process, from valuing our property to after-sales service. We got to know them through our neighour's recomendation and we would only use them again and I can whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone with a property to sell.
5th Oct 2020 (3 years ago)If you are renting in Bishop Auckland, go elsewhere. Rude, unprofessional and not interested at all. They allowed a vulnerable tenant to live in a complete and utter pigsty with no roof, wall to wall mould, with bags of human waste and needles filling the yard and have consistently negated their legal obligations. Thankfully, the tenant has since moved out, these clowns won't be laughing when this gets to court. I cannot recommend this shambles of a company to anyone. Avoid at all costs.

14th Feb 2024 (11 weeks ago)The house looked great on line had plenty of viewing arranged with no problems staff pleasant when you phoned them the only thing I didn’t agree with was the cost being a fixed price so my house was only modest price but I payed Same as someone selling for double or even triple mine but I’m so pleased it is going through hopefully

28th Mar 2024 (4 weeks ago)We sold our house last year through your move darlington and were delighted with the service and support we received every step of the way. Due to a change of circumstances during the sale we were also looking for a property to rent and as we were so happy with everyone we had already dealt we decided to use them for our rental. The sales and lettings department worked fantastically together and managed to keep the sale of our house going and found us an excellent rental property. I have spoken with Andrea in maintenance on a number of occasions and no matter whether its a small problem or something bigger she is always happy to help, has jobs organised and carried out to a high standard and in a very reasonable time frame. Her communication is excellent and thorough in all cases.

8th Nov 2023 (25 weeks ago)Great experience with Hegartys. All of the staff at the branch are lovely, friendly and super helpful. We did have a few issues with our photos which couldn’t be helped (technology), however I always believe it’s how these situations are dealt with which matters and Hegartys were great. Our property sold within a day or 2 of being on the market and it sold above asking price. Hegartys did value our property higher than what we decided to go on the market with which shows their valuation was accurate.

24th Apr 2024 (4 days ago)We switched to Ryan James after a very slow start with another agency, who unfortunately we felt were lacking motivation. In less than 1 week with Ryan James, the house has been sold! Absolutely amazing! We could not be more thrilled with Ryan, Gill and Lauren! They have been outstanding, communicative, honest and reliable. Their recommendations for conveyancing and mortgage services have also been great and we are so happy to now be moving forward. Can not fault them - I only wish we instructed them sooner! Best agent in the local area.
