2nd Sep 2024 (6 days ago)We used David Plaister to sell my late mother’s property at auction because it needed a bit of structural work and so was difficult to sell through the usual Estate Agent channels. From start to finish both David Plaister and Sophie Thorne; (who deals with the administration and sale) were professional, personable and highly efficient in ensuring everything was done to maximise the chance of selling the property. Their marketing is second to none, and this coupled with David’s knowledge of the local area and Sophie’s attention to detail ensured we were served very well indeed. The property sold at the first auction at a price that both parties ( buyer as well as vendor!) were pleased with. We could not have had better service- I would highly recommend David Plaister for anyone having to sell a property at auction. Sit back- leave it to them; you will be in good hands and I’m sure you will be happy with the outcome!

I had a number of the larger agencies come round my property and I felt like just another number to them and there was no personal touch- some didn't even get back to me. Taylors is a smaller agency but you feel massive benefits due to this. I dealt with both Gemma and Chris and can recommend them highly- always quick to respond and very friendly. The sale went like clockwork and there were no problems. I liked the fact that Taylors were realistic with sale prices and due to this, my house sold quickly and for a good price. No over promising and under delivering like other agencies did. I would highly recommend Taylors for pleasant, smooth and professional estate agency. Wouldn't use anyone else. Thank you for all your hard work and help.

If you are planning on selling your house and want a professional sevice from start to finish, I strongly suggest you use Humberts of Honiton. Better still, even if you have no immediate plans to sell, get in touch with Alex Coates and get to know him now, because when you do decide to sell, the whole process is far less stressful. That's what we did and and as the relationship was already established, any challenges that arose were dealt with in a much easier way thanks to Alex.
