10th Jun 2024 (7 weeks ago)Looks like Bairstow Eves Stratford office have literally vanished from face of the earth. I recently let my property via them and they are charging a considerable fees without any service as such. Last 2 months I am getting an incorrect amount from Countrywide but no response what so ever from Bairstow Eves. Really disappointed and pathetic experience and stuck with them.
27th Apr 2024 (13 weeks ago)Not a great experience with this company. Placed in a property via my local authority. One company fronts for this company. From day one I reported issues to the initial company I was introduced to. I had a random visit from the owner of this company who found it amusing and failed to comprehend exposed scolding hot pipes, over 1.5m drops in the back garden with no rails, loose paving, an un lockable back door, holes in walls and floors plus many more hazards were an serious issue for an ASD child. He dismissed me and instructed me to get a quote to decorate the bathroom while skipping out of the house arrogantly. I have since come to find out he is not just the estate agent but also the owner. After months of failed repairs by unskilled random men I had to get Environmental Health to inspect. In addition to the faults I identified there were multiple hazards identified including Cat 1 health and safety issues. I have even found slugs in the house. After all this still no effort to repair. Have the audacity to call me sis when you met me but have me and my kids living like this? Absolutely disgraceful people. When I am moved the whole street will get a copy of the report so other families you happily take GBP’s for will know exactly what they are dealing with!

From the initial first visit through to the advice and guidance re selling the property she has been terrific with an attention to detail and a sense of what we wanted when selling our much loved property. If you come to Foxtons then I would strongly recommend you deal with her when selling your property.
16th Jun 2024 (6 weeks ago)Was dealt the worst tenancy of my life through Lifestyle Property. Within 3 weeks of living at the flat we were burgled, front door was taken off the wall so we had no choice but to phone the landlord and was told we ‘ruined his Sunday evening’. The property made us all severely sick for months at the result of black mould. We had doctors notes and the landlord disregarded all proof that the mould was a result of poor insulation. Adam and the management team at Lifestyle property were reluctant to help in anyway, Adam asked us to send him evidence of the flat and instead of giving advice, he ignored emails and decided he no longer wanted to help. Useless estate agents and I would advise anyone to stay away from Lifestyle property, especially if the landlord is Lee Poppy.

We booked a viewing with them and although the property was nice. This review is about the frankly incompetent service we received from both Salam and Alex when trying to secure the property. Let's start with Alex. He has to be the laziest/incompetent estate agent I have ever met. He turned up 20 mins late for the viewing. whilst in the property he kept running outside to check on his car rather than actually show us around. After the viewing I asked that he send the paperwork asap so that we could start the process almost 24hrs and numerous phone calls and emails later I still hadn't received anything it wasn't until late on the next day that I received the email (Saturday 3:32pm). Now on to Salam, initially I thought he was innocent in all this but in actuality he's just as bad as Alex. They had both claimed we had first rights to refusal then emailed me back (after I had sent through my details) to say that someone else had placed an offer and that we never had the right to first refusal. Well thankfully it's 2021 and I can screenshot emails (attached to this review). He then tried to claim that they close at 2pm on a Saturday even though Alex sent me his email at 3:32pm. additional online they're opening time state that they are open until 8pm (again I've provided a screenshot). All in all I'm glad that we didn't get the property as I'm sure having these two as our estate agents would have been far worse. Honestly steer clear. Even if the property looks amazing it's not worth it having to put up with these two.

11th Feb 2023 (1 year ago)Fantastic experience with Jacqui. If you are looking for a more personal experience then look no further. From valuation to completion Jacqui was all over it! She did a lot of the chasing and calming of sellers and vendors in the chain. She uses a professional photographer which was one of the things I loved, as I've seen some truly awful listings. She managed the open day and offers promptly and got me a buyer who actually saw it through to the end. Always there for a catch up or update. Unlike some of the other chains, she never sold my data to removal companies etc and I always felt she was looking out for my best interests, not just the commission, which by the way was also the lowest quote I got, as some of the others quoted but never mentioned that it excludes VAT. An easy 5 stars and I've recommended to friends and family.

We were first time buyers and are hugely appreciative of the honesty and guidance Paul gave us during the offer process, unlike many SW London agents! After our offer was accepted the 5 star service continued all the way through to completion where Paul was very helpful, professional and responsive in dealing with various matters. This resulted in a very smooth exchange/completion. We cannot thank Paul and Moveli enough!
