20th Oct 2024 (3 days ago)I met with an agent at the property and then handed in keys so they could do viewings. I was told there was a afew viewings by email.but had to always ask for an update afterwards. I then had to request someone get in touch for an update and decided to drop the price aftershock it sold pretty quickly. 3 stars overall as.i wouldn't say there was anything outstanding so far just average.

14th Mar 2024 (7 mo. ago)Lack of communication and not pro-active as I had to instigate them doing anything. Pricing is terrible everything is an extra add on with vat on everything. Too expensive for lack of contact and or proactivity.

30th Sep 2024 (23 days ago)Do not use Ralph Sayer as your solicitors to buy your house. Firstly, they kept getting my email wrong and sending my personal information to some random email address which is a huge issue and something I asked them to rectify multiple times. We also were asked if we wanted to buy furniture from the owners, we said we did. But our solicitors didn't pass on our email so the furniture was already sold. They are expensive, useless and you have to keep chasing them to make sure they are doing the work. They made a mistake on so many forms and tried to overcharge us by adding the first time buyer discount, instead of subtract it!. So incompetent.

She was always on hand to answer any questions we had and made sure to discuss new information with us as soon as she had it. I highly recommend Elaine Gray & will definitely be contacting her in the future if we decide to move again.

19th Sep 2024 (5 weeks ago)Really poor experience of being a buyer through Remax, the house purchased was not as described or accurate according to Home Report. On entry to our home, no message to wish us all the best, no hot water, all the heating needing changed and based on the description was disgraceful. We asked questions at the viewing and told all was working and there hadn't been a leak which there had and now having to pay £10k on heating which was reflected as a '1' on the home report. TBH I don't think they asked the sellers any real questions and just marketed, took the money and moved on.

Would recommend anyone to speak to the team about managing rental properties or selling a property. They have a great team ready to help.

Dave Marshall and the whole team helped me navigate the whole complex process and kept me updated throughout. A special thanks to Eileen and Dianne although all staff were great. Andrew provided us with a free valuation which was bang on the money and had our house on the market very quickly. Andrew is always quick to respond to any queries on the phone or by email no matter what time of day it is or at weekends, helping guide us through the process. On moving day they went out of their way to help with key exchanges and get us in our new home as quickly as possible. We would highly recommend Avenue Road Estate Agents! Thanks for all your help! 5th Jul 2024 (16 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!

The property managers Morgan and Joseph were both very helpful in answering questions about both the property and ELC's general application process while at the viewing, and have been equally efficient in responding quickly to email queries. So far a lovely experience with this letting agency.
