It was great to have such a high level of support throughout the entire process and the level of communication and guidance was exceptional. In particular (as someone who was relocating from another area following a bereavement and purchasing a listed property), it was great to work with the same person throughout the process who was mindful of the sensitivity of the move, had such good local knowledge, and could offer expert insight into the additional complexities of buying historic buildings and associated land. Thank you so much for all your help, it is greatly appreciated.

This was followed by periodic updates of how the visit was perceived. We were continually briefed by members of your staff and hence constantly kept in the loop. Am just now waiting to hear from the buyer. Thank you for your assistance with the sale of mum's bungalow.

They turned a very complex sale into a smooth and straight forward process. They were on top of every detail from legal to admin... but must important, they supported me with confidence, assurance and certainty. I wouldn't doubt, for a minute, to go straight away with them, in my next buying/selling process. I am very glad and pleased to have worked with you!!!
29th May 2024 (16 weeks ago)The team were really helpful throughout the sale and a buyer was found very quickly. Our preferred method of communication was by email with occasional telephone call as we did not live in the area. The team kept us updated throughout, responded to our queries promptly and accompanied all viewings. We haven't mentioned a particular member of staff as the South Molton staff worked as a team, so we knew that whomever we called/messaged would be able to assist. The way that the team work together gave us confidence and was reassuring. They were professional and courteous throughout even when we may have been less so due to circumstances separate to the sale.

Turned up to house with keys after picking them up from their offices and tenants were still in the house with their possessions still in property. I rang the ewemove office and they didn't want to know. Seems to me they had their money and washed there hands on the whole matter, no after sales commitment at all.

However their positive 'leave it to us attitude', while it achieved the positive result did mean that we weren't fully aware of how the sale was being handled and they needed reminding to progress the memorandum of sale.

31st Jul 2024 (7 weeks ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could
