21st Apr 2026 (15 days ago)Burgoynes are a fabulous family run business. They are professional and have many many years experience. Most importantly to me, they are also caring. John, Lyn and Jemma were just superb. The sale was a difficult one for many reasons but I knew they always had our best interests at heart and they worked hard at resolving issues that came up with other parties. Highly recommend and I would use them again!

From the outset we had a great deal of confidence in Jenny with her wealth of experience. She gave us excellent advice and was always available to explain the situation and ways forward. Jenny came out to the care home when it was needed which was much appreciated. She was always thoughtful, supportive and kind. David also worked very hard to ensure the sale went through as soon as possible and kept us updated right through until completion. We are grateful to Connells for achieving a great result for us. Top marks ??????

They were professional, effective, reliable, clear, straight forward and efficient in everything they did but they were also friendly, thoughtful, responsive and really easy to work with. They were great at listening and understanding our situation as it evolved and changed and always ready to help with answers and suggestions when needed. Moving home can be a roller coaster of ups and downs but working with Chris and Emma and knowing we could rely on them to helpful and straight forward was a massive help and I am happy to be able to thoroughly recommend their services.

Karen, Sue, and Mark have been brilliant throughout and always go above and beyond to help, particularly with complicated situations when between tenancies etc. Everything is dealt with professionally but in a really friendly way, and they’re always quick to respond and sort things out when something needs fixing. Overall, a great team and a really positive experience.

7th Jan 2026 (17 weeks ago)After meeting several estate agents and getting valuations from all them, we were immediately impressed by Knight Franks professional and friendly approach plus their positive response to our property. Although we waited quite a long time to decide to proceed, Knight Frank were understanding, realistic, efficient and professional throughout. They prepared marketing materials, gave clear information about pricing, targeted appropriate clients for our property throughout a very difficult time. Florence Biss was our main contact and we cannot rate her highly enough, great communication, positive throughout and always responsive to our concerns. We ultimately achieved a positive outcome to a very complicated sale of house, land and outbuildings which I am not sure we would have achieved with some of the other companies. I am happy to recommend Knight Frank

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Highly professional, hard working agents who know their job well. They did not shy away from having difficult conversations and they were honest, giving accurate information at all times. Very patient and did not rush me to buy any property to make profit but rather wanted to make sure I find the right one which is what exactly happened. The best estate agency in Exeter and as I was looking for a property for almost two years and had "used" others too.
