When solicitors weren't coming back to us and being difficult she went out of her way to chase them up and constantly kept us in the loop with everything that was going out. By far the best estate agent we have ever dealt with and we definitely wouldn't have got into our property as quickly without all her help. We had an awful experience with another estate agents in the area when trying to buy a previous property so we had pretty much lost all faith in them but she very much as restored all of this now! I would recommend her and the agency to anyone looking to buy or sell a property. Thank you Kathleen for everything you did for us. Penny & Ben

Whitton & Laing appointed Mr. Martyn Burnett, MRICS, to conduct the survey. Martyn was professionalism personified and despite difficult circumstances between his clients (us) managed to navigate the situation impeccably. He has produced a thorough and comprehensive review whilst maintaining balance and consideration for all parties. He is a credit to Whitton & Laing and we are very grateful to have had his services.

Her black book of related professionals was exceptional and we ended up using the VERY best lawyer and surveyor which was invaluable at keeping stress levels on the low side.

30th Jul 2022 (2 years ago)Unfortunately despite two firm offers, both buyers pulled out. Nothing to do with the agents, but I feel they could have nutured them more. Otherwise all fine, reasonable charges, good attended viewings etc. Ideal if you have lots of acres, which I don't.

22nd Jan 2021 (3 years ago)Southgate originally acted as letting agents for our property - they are efficient, reliable and nothing was too much trouble. They have now acted as selling agents, this took a bit longer than anticipated but Southgate agents have kept us informed and been helpful during the whole process.

15th Jul 2023 (1 year ago)Terrible details and photographs, a child could do better. Office never open. Learnt after the property was sold that she never contacted the first people who had put in an offer to give them chance to come back with an increased offer. Website should have been a warning not to list with her as its appalling. Not sure how she is still trading!
4th Dec 2022 (1 year ago)We chose Savills because they appeared to be the most efficient and proactive company we approached to sell our home. Unfortunately once we’d signed up, they weren’t reliable and didn’t communicate with us regularly. Phone calls weren’t returned, our agent was never available when we rang. Feedback only given twice in 6 months. We have now taken our property off the market until next year.
