14th Mar 2024 (6 mo. ago)Lack of communication and not pro-active as I had to instigate them doing anything. Pricing is terrible everything is an extra add on with vat on everything. Too expensive for lack of contact and or proactivity.

I cant fault them at all, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends and family and if I ever need them again they will be my first port of call.

Do not sell a property through these people.- 14th Apr 2024 (23 weeks ago)My husband and I have just signed our contract with Allan and Harris and will be working with the Dumbarton branch. However, it was Clayton who came to the house to value and a second time with our contract. Clayton has been outstanding and professional in his work and is extremely knowledgeable of the area and value of our property. We can’t thank Clayton enough for making this process easy for us.

Not a run of the mill sale, a few quirks, but the staff made big efforts to ensure things went as smoothly as possible. Always on hand to answer queries or find answers. ( I had a few). Always patient. Always professional but most of all welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend them. Thank you Baird Lumsden and all of your staff.

24th Feb 2023 (1 year ago)Excellent service throughout, from initial contact to discuss prospects, possible prices and costs, through to finalising the sale of the house. Friendly and professional at every stage with absolutely no pressure applied. Sales materials, from really well-wriiten text to superb videos, including drone footage of the property and surrounds, were outstanding. Good at helping manage the sale, discussing useful changes and following up and reporting back prospective buyer interests and dislikes. I can't imagine the process being handled better. A big thanks to the area director Allan and manager, Seona.

They remained calm and informative whilst buyers further down the chain prevaricated, but finally achieving a sale to satisfy our buyers.

31st Aug 2024 (19 days ago)Highly recommend West homes. We used them to sell our property in Lochearnhead. Having an agent based locally was great considering we didn't live near by. They were proactive and had excellent communication. Refreshing compared to others we have used in the past
5th Jul 2024 (11 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
