6th Apr 2024 (5 mo. ago)Our experience with Mov8 was easy they kept us informed with viewing and communication was prompt. The only thing was their offices are in Edinburgh and Glasgow and we are in Carnoustie which was a little inconvenient if we needed to go to their office to sign things
14th Mar 2024 (6 mo. ago)Lack of communication and not pro-active as I had to instigate them doing anything. Pricing is terrible everything is an extra add on with vat on everything. Too expensive for lack of contact and or proactivity.

15th Nov 2021 (2 years ago)This used to be a decent enough place until they employed idiots during the pandemic. The Shirley one who started in 2021 is particularly rude and obnoxious. She simply will not answer emails or return calls. Nothing professional about her at all but I guess when you pay peanuts you get monkeys! ???????

20th Dec 2023 (9 mo. ago)Absolutely pathetic service. We we lied to from the onset. Rod wouldn't get back for up to a month at a time. Carried out useless work for over inflated prices without permission. Incidentally nothing materialaliaed with anything that he said he had done. Sorry excuse of an Estate Agent and I would keep away real nightmare of a man. He would phone up every 3 to 4 months and say how much did you pay for your property originally and did this for years.
6th Feb 2023 (1 year ago)If it was possible, I'd have given Abbey Forth zero stars. Here's my experience with them: The place I rented from Abbey Forth had not been cleaned when I moved in. It was in a disgusting state with several broken fixtures. I took many photos and informed them that, because I was having to clean my new flat, I wouldn't be paying for the place to be professionally cleaned when I moved out. Throughout my year at the property, they were unprofessional and unhelpful when other problems arose: trying to charge me for boiler repairs (a boiler which was leaking on day 1), failing to resolve a drainage issue outside the kitchen door and, worst of all, falling to resolve an infestation of slugs in the kitchen - an obvious health hazard. When I moved out, they unsurprisingly tried to deduct £190 from my deposit for cleaning. I successfully disputed this charge with the deposit scheme, using the pictures and emails I'd sent them over the length of the tenancy. The deposit scheme found that, as the property was not cleaned to a good condition for the start of the tenancy, that I should only having to pay £60 In summary: Abbey Forth is the worst estate agent I've ever used. Rude staff and a general ethos of trying to squeeze money out of tenants for as little effort as possible. Only sign up with them if you are desperate and have no other options. If this is the case, then please make sure you document everything for inevitable struggle to get your deposit back

I instantly took a liking to Joanne’s professional but relaxed approach and she knows the market so well. I valued her advice and we had such a laugh in the process taking a bit of the stress out of the process. Same s true of Stacey in the office and April. What a wonderful, hard working team.
